He quickly called Wang Yan's phone, but it was already switched off.
Where did she go?
Lao Hu was a little confused, but he felt that it shouldn't be like this. Could it be that she left early because she was shy?
Then, he sent a WeChat message to Wang Yan, but he realized that he was blocked!
He quickly left the hotel and went back to school to look for Zhang Jian. Zhang Jian was still addicted to the beauty of a woman, so he didn't believe him at all.
"Impossible, you must be mistaken. She just did it yesterday, why did she disappear today?
Did you offend her? Maybe her phone ran out of battery. "Zhang Jian tried to comfort Lao Hu, but Lao Hu didn't agree.
"Don't talk so much nonsense. Hurry up and send Xiaomei a WeChat message. What do you think?"
"Don't worry about us, we were fine yesterday!"
Zhang Jian took out his phone and sent a message, but the message indicated that he was no longer her friend!
The two looked at each other and were stunned.
"Damn it, I've been cheated!" Zhang Jian suddenly cursed. Now, he finally believed the truth.
"Let's go to the matchmaking agency!" Lao Hu pulled Zhang Jian and ran out. Soon, they arrived at the matchmaking agency.
When they looked again, the sign had changed to something Duke's Mansion.
"Hey, hey, hey, what are you doing? Why are you barging in?" Lao Hu wanted to go in but was stopped by a staff member.
"We're looking for Zhang Guihua. Isn't this a matchmaking agency? Why did it become like this?" Zhang Jian asked. He couldn't believe the scene in front of him.
"What Zhang Guihua, Li Guihua? We're filming now!
Non-staff, stay away! "The staff member was a little fierce and pulled Zhang Jian out.
Lao Hu saw that there was indeed a camera, director, and many other staff members. He didn't think they were lying. After asking around, he found out that this was a temporary location. Whoever used it for filming could rent it.
They called Zhang Guihua's phone again, but it couldn't get through.
After discussing it, the two of them decided to go to the police station to report the case and let the police solve this matter.
When they arrived at the police station, the person in charge was actually Chen Liyun. Lao Hu and she were both a little embarrassed, but Lao Hu had no choice but to tell the truth and let Chen Liyun investigate as soon as possible.
"Don't worry. Since we know that they rented a temporary place, we should be able to find the boss behind the scenes by following this clue."
Chen Liyun quickly sorted out the ins and outs of the matter. She still felt it was a little unbelievable that Lao Hu was cheated.
Speaking of which, if they weren't lustful, they wouldn't have been cheated of so much money. They only had themselves to blame. However, she knew that Lao Hu had a powerful background, so she didn't dare to say this in front of him.
After Chen Liyun finished recording, she asked Lao Hu and Zhang Jian to go back and wait for the news.
The two of them returned to school dejectedly, only to bump into Sophie.
"Uncle Hu?
What's wrong with you? Are you not feeling well?
You don't look well. "Sophie asked with concern, with a stack of test papers in her hand.
"We were …" When Zhang Jian saw it was Sophie, he rushed to speak first, but he was interrupted by Lao Hu.
"Ah, it's nothing. Recently, the school has been very strict. We have to patrol often. Maybe we are a little tired." Lao Hu lied. He didn't want Sophie to know that he was cheated.
Seeing this, Zhang Jian went back to the duty room. He wasn't as lucky as Lao Hu, who had a lot of luck with women. He was also cheated. Lao Hu slept with that woman for a night, but he could only touch and kiss her.
"Uncle, you have to take care of your health. The flu has been quite serious recently. Don't get infected.
I'm really busy these days. I'll visit you in a few days! "
"Okay, okay. I'm fine. You also have to take care of yourself." Lao Hu's heart felt warm. This girl was so good. How could he be bewitched by her and go on a blind date!
He deserved to be cheated!
Therefore, he couldn't let Sophie know about this. Otherwise, how would she look at him?
After the two of them said their goodbyes, Lao Hu stayed in the dormitory for two days. Finally, there was news from Chen Liyun. The case was solved.
It turned out that it was a professional fraud group. There were already many people who came to report the case. After combining the existing clues, they finally caught them within three days.
Zhang Guihua was the leader. When she was young, she was a madam in a nightclub. She specialized in pimping.
And those so-called blind dates were all hostesses in the nightclub. They didn't commit crimes in a fixed location. They often changed locations. It wasn't easy to be caught this time.
When Lao Hu heard this, he felt like he was about to explode. He thought that he had met a stunner. He didn't expect it to be three escorts!
He never thought that at this age, he couldn't protect his integrity. He didn't know if Wang Yan carried the virus!
He had to find some time to check it.
Chen Liyun informed Lao Hu and Zhang Jian to go to the police station to get the money. The membership fee and matchmaking fee that they were cheated of were returned. The bag that Lao Hu bought was also recovered.
Zhang Jian went to the police station. It was good enough that the money was returned.
When they arrived at the police station, Zhang Jian was very grateful to Chen Liyun. He even wanted her phone number. In fact, Lao Hu knew that he was moved by her beauty!
But Chen Liyun avoided any contact with him. She directly said that if he wanted to find the police, he could directly call 110.
"Oh yeah, Uncle Hu, Mr. Zhang. Our police station will have an event in a few days. How about you come over to say a few words?" When Lao Hu was about to leave, Chen Liyun suddenly pulled him back.
"Your event invited us to say a few words?" Lao Hu raised his eyebrows.
"Yes, this is an all-staff fraud prevention event. Because you have experienced it before, you have a deeper understanding of it. Are you willing to cooperate with me?"
Chen Liyun asked rather politely. After all, Lao Hu was a person with a background. She was still afraid of him.
"I am willing!" Zhang Jian nodded his head and spoke before Lao Hu.
He just wanted to show off in front of Chen Liyun, but Lao Hu was not willing. What if Sophie saw it?
At the all-staff fraud prevention event, Lao Hu spoke with confidence and won a lot of praise. Everyone had a deeper understanding of this old man. Even Chen Liyun's impression of him changed.
Because of Chen Liyun, Lao Hu was lucky enough to get the Best Citizen Award. After that, in order to express his gratitude, Lao Hu specially proposed to treat Chen Liyun to a meal. She actually didn't refuse, which made Lao Hu very moved.
In fact, the reason why Chen Liyun agreed was very simple. It was because Lao Hu had Chen Lin behind him. She didn't want to offend Lao Hu. If Chen Lin pursued the matter, she might not be able to keep her job.
Lao Hu didn't think about this. He thought that she admired him!
