Late at night, a team of four Third Stage hunters was patrolling. The team consisted of two men and two women. One of the women was Yan Xue, who had broken off the team with Fang Ping.
"Be careful!"
Suddenly, Yan Xue, who was walking forward, felt a trace of palpitation in her heart. She suddenly became alert and loudly warned the other three.
At the same time, a sudden change occurred. From both sides of the street to the front and back of the cement paved street, thick vines rose from the ground one after another, extending toward the four of them.
The danger came too suddenly, but the four of them were Third Stage hunters, so their reaction was extremely fast.
Yan Xue used her Ice ability, and the cold air spread in one direction. The vines in that direction were suddenly frozen and turned into ice sculptures.
The other three Third Stage hunters also used their own means to block the vines from the other three directions.
"It's a Fourth Stage hunter, ask for help!"
Although they managed to block the attack, their faces became dignified. The strength of the four of them combined to block the attack of the vines. The strength of the hunter who attacked them must be far beyond them, at least a Fourth-Order hunter.
Among the four, the one with the signal device quickly pressed it.
The signal device not only sends out a distress signal for the Fourth Stage hunters around to receive it, but also shows their current location in real-time.
Puff, puff, puff!
The four of them stood back to back, guarding against the four directions. Suddenly, the ground under their feet trembled slightly, and sharp roots rose from the ground one after another, stabbing the four of them.
"Not good, dodge!"
The four of them dodged to the side, and the place where they were originally standing, sharp roots appeared one after another. If they had dodged a little slower, they would have been pierced by now.
However, although they dodged the attack, the four of them were scattered and could only fight on their own.
"Ah!"
A scream came from the mouth of the woman except Yan Xue. She was the weakest among the four. Being separated and without the support of her companions, she was the first to be injured.
A tree branch shot towards her like a sharp blade. Unable to dodge in time, her abdomen was pierced by the branch, and blood flowed out.
The second person to be injured was a man. Dozens of roots shot out from the ground and attacked him. Although he dodged many of them, he was still hit by a few of them.
The third person who was injured was another man. Many vines intertwined together and turned into a thick vine that attacked him.
He tried his best to block it, but he was unable to do so. He was struck by the thick vine, and he spat out a mouthful of blood as he was sent flying.
Among the four of them, the only one who was not injured was Yan Xue. With the Crystal Sword and the Ice ability, her battle power had slightly surpassed the peak of the third rank. She was the strongest among the four.
Even so, he was already in a precarious situation. Although he had faintly surpassed the peak of the Third Order, there was still a large gap between him and the Fourth Order.
If it weren't for the other three Tier 3 hunters holding back the Tier 4 hunter's energy, she would have been injured.
"Distress signal."
A female Tier 4 hunter who was patrolling took out a device with a display. After glancing at it, she quickly rushed in a direction. The distress signal was only a few miles away from her.
However, before she could run far, the air around her suddenly solidified. Her body was bound by the solidified air, and one after another, "Air Cannons" that caused ripples in the air were attacking her.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The [Air Blast] was blocked. Just as the [Air Blast] was about to reach the female Type 4 Awakened, huge flower petals suddenly appeared around her, blocking the [Air Blast].
Not only that, the huge petals rotated and the air around the female Tier 4 hunter was shredded. The air circulation was restored.
Although the danger was lifted, the female Tier 4 hunter's face was serious.
Her opponent was obviously a Type 4 Metahuman. Being entangled by a Type 4 Metahuman, she no longer had the energy to save the other four.
"Be careful!"
Facing the attack of a Tier 4 Awakened, the other three, except for Yan Xue, were in a precarious situation. They were injured from time to time, and the weakest of the four, the woman, was on the verge of death.
A lot of blood and injuries severely exhausted her physical strength. The power and reaction of her ability were weakened. Finally, it was too late to respond.
Hit by a vine, her body fell heavily and rolled a few times on the ground. Her life and death were unknown. Only blood kept flowing from her body.
Although Yan Xue and the other two noticed that she was in danger, they were also in danger. They couldn't save her in time.
After her, the other two men were also injured. It was difficult for them to resist. Their life and death were unknown.
Puff! Puff! Puff!
Now, there was only one person left in the four-man team. Yan Xue had to face the attack of a Fourth-Order Hunter alone. The pressure on her suddenly multiplied, and wounds began to appear on her body. It wouldn't be long before she would be seriously injured or even killed like the other three.
Whoosh!
Suddenly, a figure appeared near her. She was shocked at first, but when she saw the person who appeared, she breathed a sigh of relief.
"Your luck is so bad. You actually encountered one of the four Tier 4 hunters. Or is it specifically targeting you?"
The cold spread and froze the tentacles coming from one side, relieving some of the pressure on Yan Xue. Fang Ping joked.
Every single "Tier 4 Awakened" who patrolled alone had a signal receiver. They could receive distress signals and see the location of other Tier 4 Awakened and their teams. As a Tier 3 Awakened whose combat power was comparable to a Tier 4 Awakened, he naturally had one as well.
When he received the distress signal, he was more than ten miles away from Yan Xue. However, with the Flying Thunder God Technique, his movement speed is even faster than a Tier 5 hunter, so he arrived so quickly.
"Be careful."
Before Yan Xue answered, Fang Ping had thrown a throwing knife to the left side of the street.
He has already perceived through Observation Haki that the Tier 4 hunter who manipulates plants is hiding there.
The Tier 4 hunter who manipulates plants is a man with a devil mask. Seeing the flying knife, a large number of vines stretched out around him and intercepted the throwing knife.
Hellfire has already judged the use of the throwing knife from the previous battles with Fang Ping.
However, before the vines hit the throwing knife, the throwing knife had been caught by Fang Ping in his hand, and a giant green palm violently slapped the attacking vines.
Puff Puff Puff!
The vines burst under the giant green palm like fried beans, and a large area without vines appeared. Fang Ping threw the throwing knife again and teleported to catch it again.
Boom!
This time, the distance between Fang Ping and the man with the devil mask was close enough for the giant green hand to hit.
The man with the devil mask hurriedly laid a large number of vines in front of him that were harder than steel and retreated to avoid it.
Unfortunately, these vines were destroyed under the giant green hand, and finally, the giant green hand hit the man with the devil mask.
The man with the devil mask flew upside down, crashed through the wall of the house next to the street, and fell into the house.
There was no one in the house, it was a shop. The man with the devil mask got up with blood on the corner of his mouth, punched through the wall on the other side of the shop, sealed the gap with a large number of vines, and fled.
After only two fights, he had judged that he, who had just become a Tier 4 hunter, was not Fang Ping's opponent, so he decisively fled.
