Am I the Devil - Chapter54

Kyle's Bloodline Magic Experiment 145th Time

"Beta No.4 experiment begins."

"We failed three more times. Do you think we can succeed this time?"

"Let's give it a try. It's the last model. There are only a few dozen experiments left."

"Is finding Clara really that important to you?

What if she's dead? "

Kyle pushed up his glasses and injected the reagent into Xoura's blood vessels. "Her life has nothing to do with me. I'm just fulfilling my promise."

"Whose promise is that important?"

"My master."

"You have a master?" Xoura suddenly sat up from the bed. This was too scary.

"Don't make a fuss."

Kyle observed the flow of Xoura's blood and began to chant the Bloodline Magic spell according to Beta No.4's movements.

Hum!

Csula felt that his blood was boiling. He had read about this feeling in books before!

The Bloodline Magic was about to be activated!

…

Chris had been very irritated recently. Tula Qala kept sending him unhappy news. Cloning was out of his control.

He could not continue with the Bloodline Magic, so the search for Clara had to stop.

Chris had wanted to use himself as a medium for the Bloodline Magic, but he was dissuaded by the side effects.

"Chris, I think you should focus on the construction of Liberty City. You haven't reviewed the reports of the Grand Dukes for a long time."

It was Chris's wife, also known as Mrs. Reden. She was the mother of Chris's three children.

Chris had a headache and sighed. "Let's do it together tomorrow. We have to put Clara's matter aside. The Silenced One has already arrived at the City of the Night. Remember to report back in time."

"Okay."

Hum!

This was the feeling of blood boiling!

Chris stood up and looked into the distance.

"Someone activated the Bloodline Magic!"

"Who?"

"Xoura …"

"How is this possible!" Mrs. Reden exclaimed. "Someone is also looking for Clara?"

"They found her." Chris squinted. "Clara is actually in the Fairy Forest …"

The Bloodline Magic allowed Chris to sense Clara's location.

…

"It's so dark here, let's light up the fluorescent stones."

Illumination was one of the commonly used arcane spells, but in a cave full of unknowns, it was best to be cautious when using magic power. Firstly, it was to avoid alerting the beings in the cave, and secondly, it was to conserve magic power.

Lafame had prepared quite a number of fluorescent stones, one of the items in the Hyena Blade Association's adventurer set.

The fluorescent stone could emit light in a dark environment. One stone could last for an hour, and it was cheap. It was completely natural and pollution-free. It was a must-have tool for home travel, murder, and arson.

Tick tock.

The cave was relatively damp, and the sound of water dripping was very obvious in the quiet cave.

The deep and mysterious cave was like an endless abyss. Alice and Lafame had already used three fluorescent stones.

"Blackie, you still haven't smelled the scent of the white feather cat?" Lafame asked as he chewed on his food.

Little Black, who was resting in Alice's arms, looked up. "Don't you see the blood on the ground?

This cave is filled with the scent of the white-feathered cat. "

"So we can only keep walking with our heads covered?"

"Hmph."

Little Black's face was full of pride. Alice looked at him and knew that he must have sensed something.

"Little Black, don't tease Lafame."

"This demon king is too lazy to tease him."

Little Black continued, "That little cat is very vigilant. He has been keeping a distance from you, so we can only block him at the end of the cave."

"Then where is the end of the cave?"

Lafame looked at the fading fluorescent stone and took out a new one from his backpack. "This is the fourth one. If we continue like this, we'll run out of fluorescent stones."

Alice sighed. "Anyway, we've already come this far. Let's keep going. The white-feathered cat is injured, so we have to stop and rest."

When the fifth fluorescent stone was extinguished, the environment in the cave had changed.

The originally smooth cave walls became dry and rough. Not to mention water droplets, there wasn't even much water vapor.

As a magician, Alice could clearly feel the unbalanced elemental environment.

"It's a bit strange here. The temperature is starting to rise."

Alice didn't dare to use magic to explore the way, so she could only send out skeleton thieves. "The further we go, the more chaotic the elements are …"

When the sixth fluorescent stone was half consumed, they could clearly feel the scorching aura.

"Isn't this Linna Snow Mountain?

Why is it so hot? "Alice wiped her sweat. She had already taken off her winter clothes.

Little Black took the initiative to come out of Alice's arms and jumped onto her shoulder. He stuck out his tongue and said, "What the hell is this place?"

Lafame was sweating profusely. He felt that from winter to summer, he wanted to take off his armor.

"That's right," Lafame suddenly said, "I remember a legend."

Alice looked at Lafame. She knew that Lafame liked to read all kinds of strange books.

"Luna Peace's book 'The Secret History of the Forest' has a description of the Linna Snow Mountain. This was originally just a very ordinary mountain, but because of the battle between the 9th level monsters, the environment here changed."

Little Black said disdainfully, "Hey, what 9th level monsters?

How come this demon king has never heard of it? "

"There's no specific description in the book. Anyway, the Linna Snow Mountain wasn't called this before. What happened there is probably only known by the Forest Fairies."

"9th level monsters aren't cabbages. No one has encountered one for so many years. We can't be the ones to encounter one, right?"

(Little Black: Aren't you carrying one?

You're even talking and laughing with him.)

Alice's footsteps suddenly stopped. "We're at the top!"

The skeleton thief's feedback made Alice excited because the white feathered cat was resting in the last cave.

Lafame let out a long sigh of relief. "We finally made it. I thought this cave really led to the lair of the 9th level monsters."

Alice and Lafame cautiously entered the last cave. There really was no path here.

The white feathered cat was lying quietly in a corner, seemingly exhausted.

Lafame took out a pair of scissors. "We finally caught this guy. Let's see if I don't cut off all his fur!"

Lafame approached the white feathered cat, and Alice was ready to activate her magic at any time.

"Meow ~"

It seemed to go smoother than expected. The white feathered cat was too tired and didn't struggle anymore. Lafame easily caught him.

"What's wrong with this guy?

Is he sick?

Why is he shaking? "

The white feathered cat's eyes were full of fear. Unlike before, he didn't dare to move at all.

Lafame comforted the white feathered cat and then began to trim its fur.

The whole process was over in a few minutes. Lafame put the white feathered cat's fur into his backpack and put away the scissors.

"Meow …"

Alice came over and patted the white feathered cat's head. "What are you afraid of?

We just want to collect your fur. "

"Meow!"

Suddenly, the white feather cat jumped up and ran out of the cave, disappearing without a trace. Even Alice was shocked by the speed of the white feather cat.

"What happened?" Alice had an inexplicable feeling of uneasiness.

Little Black suddenly stood on Alice's shoulder and stared at the rock wall at the end of the cave with a serious expression.

"What a strange magic formation."

"Boom!"

At this moment, the cave suddenly began to shake. Alice lost her balance and fell to the ground. The exit of the cave was suddenly blocked by many huge falling rocks.

The only exit was blocked just like that.
