Early the next morning, Feng Chou boarded a large magical passenger ship and traveled west along the Modima Lake and the Modima River. A week later, he returned to Casablanca.
After returning to Casablanca, Feng Chou returned to his original appearance and began to move around as Baron Amborite.
Feng Chou's trip to Benedict could be said to have been a fruitful one.
First of all, he had completed the mandatory mission of obtaining five merit points. Not only had he resolved the crisis, but he had also bought himself plenty of time.
Secondly, he had obtained a full set of information on intermediate spells. Moreover, it had been collected by the legendary arcanists of the Arcane Empire. The content was very comprehensive, and there was also some special knowledge, techniques, and secrets.
He had also obtained sixteen merit points and more than eight hundred and forty thousand soul power.
A large number of low-grade alchemy materials were worth more than thirty to forty million crowns.
After summing up his gains, Feng Chou quickly sorted out his next move.
The most important thing for him to do now was to digest the spell information.
There were several advantages to digesting the spell information.
First, it was to improve his strength.
Second, it was to upgrade Qiankun Pagoda as soon as possible.
After another upgrade, Qiankun Pagoda would be able to obtain the strength of a beginner sorcerer of all types, and the ability to cast all beginner spells without restriction. With this ability, Qiankun Pagoda could really be put to good use.
More importantly, once Qiankun Pagoda obtained the ability of a beginner sorcerer of all types, it could independently produce low-grade alchemy products. With Qiankun Pagoda's production capacity, Feng Chou was almost equivalent to obtaining a beginner alchemy factory, and an alchemy factory was equivalent to a technology company in this world!
To digest the spell information, Feng Chou first had to improve his intelligence. As the saying goes, sharpening the axe will not delay the work of cutting wood. With high intelligence, Feng Chou could better and faster analyze the spell information.

Feng Chou summoned the golden panel through the Reincarnation Mirror.
He reached out his hand and lightly tapped the plus sign behind the intelligence five times, increasing it to 30.
At the bottom of the screen, the cost of increasing Intelligence by 5 points was displayed.
Merit points -5, Soul Power- 62483
He clicked again, and his Intelligence increased to 31.
Cost: -7 merit points, - 87483 soul power.
It seemed that after reaching 30 points, increasing Intelligence would require 2 Merit Points, and the amount of Soul Energy required would also double.
Feng Chou calculated for a moment, and then removed the last point of Intelligence that he added.
Then he increased Perception by 5 points, consuming more than 20,000 Soul Energy.
Looking at the panel, Feng Chou thought for a while and pressed OK.
The light screen dissipated, and the Reincarnation Mirror appeared on top of Feng Chou's head out of thin air. The mirror faced down, shooting a purple light and enveloping him.
Feng Chou's vision turned black, and he lost consciousness.
When Feng Chou woke up, he still stood there in the same posture as if nothing had happened.
He ordered Qiankun Pagoda to scan himself.

According to Qiankun Pagoda's calculation, 30 points of Intelligence was almost equivalent to 200 IQ on Earth, and according to the magic data, 30 points of Intelligence, among the humans in this world, were rare. With such high Intelligence, it was almost certain to become a high-level mage. If one worked hard enough, it was not impossible to become a great mage.
In addition to increasing Intelligence, Feng Chou also needed a magic laboratory to study magic.
In the following week, Feng Chou read through the catalog of magic books given to him by Qiankun Pagoda while looking for manors for sale near Casablanca. With his own territory, he could build his own magic laboratory.
In the end, Feng Chou found a manor more than 100 kilometers northeast of Casablanca through a real estate investment company.
It was a manor at the level of a knight.
After locking on to his target, Feng Chou sold some of the equipment and magic gems he got from Leo's uncle in exchange for more than 200 thousand crowns in cash. In addition to the equipment he sold to Drow previously and the 500,000 crowns he had left after upgrading Qiankun Pagoda, he had a total of 700 thousand crowns and was ready to take over the knight's manor.
It was a knight's manor with more than 10,000 acres of high-quality land. Its properties included a small village with a few hundred people, a villa, and about 10 square kilometers of forest and barren land that could be used for grazing.
Such a manor was priced at 700 thousand crowns. The price was so low that it was suspicious. Therefore, he was not in a hurry to make a move. Instead, he planned to find a private detective agency to investigate the manor.
"Megore Detective Agency" was the most famous detective agency in Casablanca.
Feng Chou heard the name of the detective agency "Megore" from a waiter in the hotel.
From the old papers which had been brought to him, he had ascertained that this detective agency was a real one. In the last week's edition of the Casablanca Gazeta, Detective Megory had appeared most frequently in the "Detective Column."
Newspapers were not new in this world. Four hundred years ago, after the invention of metal movable type printing by an alchemist in Tyron, Tyron City was the first city to have newspapers that were not regularly published. About 200 years ago, a newspaper that was regularly published appeared in Tyron City. It was called the Tyron Business Weekly. This kind of newspaper quickly became popular in the whole of Orvendell. Fifty years later, a daily newspaper appeared.
Today, newspapers had started to become popular. In a big city like Casablanca, preordering newspapers had become a necessary expense for the middle class.
Early in the morning, Feng Chou changed into his latest custom-made black gentleman's suit.
Logically speaking, as a true noble, Feng Chou should not wear clothes that did not belong to his social class. However, this new suit was actually more in line with Feng Chou's aesthetic. It was also more similar to the modern clothing on Earth. It was more convenient to wear, and he was more used to it.
Walking out of the hotel, Feng Chou waved his hand and called for a rental carriage that was waiting near the entrance of the hotel.
Sitting in the carriage, Feng Chou said, "East Borough, Middle of Heim Street, Shawn's Building."
The carriage started moving quickly, heading east along the street.
