Blackstone Cipher - Chapter76

In the morning, Richard sat uneasily in an office that still smelled of fresh paint.

There was not a speck of dust. The bright windows did not hide the slightest trace of sunlight, making the entire room bright and clear.

Some time ago, when Lynch and Michael's matter had just come out, the Federation Investigation Bureau and the Federation Tax Bureau had found Richard almost at the same time.

As one of Lynch's important "minions," Richard was bound to play an important role in the combination of Lynch and Fox. However, the Federation Investigation Bureau and the Federation Tax Bureau had guessed wrongly. Richard was just a pitiful guy who couldn't even be considered as a peripheral member!

After the two major authorities took turns to enforce the law, he was released after paying a bail. In the end, Lynch proved that there was no problem with him, but there was no increase in his bail.

If you thought that Richard would give up on working with Lynch after this trip that almost scared him to death, then you must have guessed wrong.

The stimulation brought about by the huge profits had given Richard the courage to trample on the law. As long as there was enough profit, there was nothing he wouldn't dare to try.

He also tried to find a new job at the employment center, but every time he saw those jobs with guaranteed hours and extra pay, as well as the low income, he didn't even have the desire to try.

Burying his head in work like a piece of rotten wood, only getting a salary that could barely support him every month, this wasn't work, it was trying to murder himself, to murder his own life!

Just as he was thinking about whether to take the risk, Lynch gave him a call, and in an instant, he felt that the light had returned to the earth.

The next morning, Richard arrived at Lynch's warehouse half an hour early. Seeing that the boss had changed into more high-end clothes, Richard very humbly expressed his confidence in Lynch's return and the courage to continue working with Lynch.

When one was used to making quick money, no one would be willing to bend their backs. This was also one of the reasons why many criminals couldn't get rid of their criminal activities. They were used to all kinds of destruction, violence, and quick money. How could they be ordered to work honestly?

"Seeing you is like seeing the sun, dispelling the darkness and dark clouds, Boss!"

Richard's mouth was very eloquent, and his brain was very active. This was why Lynch chose him.

Of course, he was also bold enough. At least when he received a call from Lynch, he didn't say "sorry" and hang up immediately like some people. Instead, he came here to meet him in advance.

Lynch patted him on the shoulder. "Work hard, we will have a bright future. There will be some people coming later. You will be half a teacher to them. Help me guide them for a while."

Richard was very humble. When Lynch spoke, he lowered his head slightly, showing that he was listening. From time to time, he nodded to acknowledge or agree with Lynch. In short, his performance made Lynch was very satisfied.

"Can you tell me in advance what we're going to do next so that I can be prepared?"

When he asked this question, Richard's blood started to boil, and his heart began to beat faster. He was afraid that Lynch would give him a job that he couldn't be satisfied with.

Fortunately, Lynch could see through the young man and his deeply hidden greed at a glance, so he gave him an answer without hesitation. "A new job without a base salary, but this time, your commission will be higher. As long as you have enough ability, you can earn much more than before!"

When it came to making money, Richard was very devoted. He patted his chest and promised that he would do his best to fulfill Lynch's instructions.

Before 10: 30 in the morning, almost all the people Lynch was waiting for had arrived.

Among these people were a group of half-grown children. The oldest was about 13 or 14 years old, and the youngest was about 12 or 13 years old. They were the children left behind by the masthead.

With Lynch's financial support, they didn't have to worry about being taken away by their guardians and put into a new den of devils. They cherished such an opportunity very much. Other than Lynch, no one else was willing to give them a suitable job and a suitable salary.

These children changed into clean old clothes. There were many stalls selling old clothes on the remote streets of Saibin City. Most of the stalls were people who didn't look very comfortable.

These clothes were often stolen from all over the city and sold here at a low price.

In the beginning, there were only two or three small stalls. Now, there were more and more stalls selling not only clothes, but also furniture.

Last year, the Saibin City Police Department issued a notice saying that there were more and more crimes of breaking into people's homes. These people didn't just steal money, they would also steal furniture and electrical appliances.

The police department reminded all the residents of the city to lock their doors and take protective measures before leaving home.

Richard stood in the middle like a proud little rooster. He was also the most independent. On his other side, there were about 20 young people. They were the employees that Lynch had asked the employment center to find for him.

Lynch glanced at his watch and signaled one of the children to close the door. He started to talk to these people about their future jobs.

"I know some of you must have some doubts about what our job is …" When he said that, the children, including Richard, looked at the group of 'new employees'.

This made the new employees inexplicably nervous. It was as if … this group of people was different from the others. This made them start to focus their attention.

"Actually, it's very simple. What I want you to do is to promote. I have a lot of products here …" He called a few of the children over and had them distribute the brochure to everyone. "The things in the brochure are the things you need to promote!"

Instead of a brochure, it was more like a photo album. When they opened the first page, they saw four colored photos. Next to them were some descriptions of the products and their prices in the mall.

These prices had been collected by the children during this period of time, and they had contributed a large portion of their strength.

Richard was also looking at the brochure seriously. He didn't quite understand, but he knew how to maintain the dignity of a superior, so he didn't ask. Instead, he pretended to say, "I see, I understand now."

"I want you to knock on every door and tell them why you're here. Then, show them the products in the brochure and tell them how good they are …"

"I know some of you will think that this is a difficult task, but please believe me, this is much easier than you think!"

"The bottom line of all the products is forty percent of their original price. We'll split the excess in half."

All of a sudden, everyone sucked in a breath of cold air. Some of the people who were planning to leave were also shocked. In the entire Saibin City, or even the entire state, or even the entire Federation, there was no commission of this level.

Even those who thought that it was impossible had some ideas. Why not give it a try?

After waiting for them to accept the information, Lynch continued, "If you think that this job is so easy for you, don't worry. I have another job for you."

"Every Saturday afternoon, I'll hold a second-hand goods auction here. There will be a large number of second-hand goods being auctioned here. I'll give each of you a hundred seats. Your job is to find people to fill them up!"

"You'll get a five percent commission of the total transaction amount from the transactions that take place at your seats. Take note, gentlemen, as long as the people you bring here make a transaction, you'll get a commission!"

"I have millions of dollars worth of products here waiting to be sold, and there will be more and more of them. Don't worry, I'll have something to offer."

"I can even guarantee that every month, at least three people here will earn more than ten thousand dollars. If no one earns more than ten thousand dollars, I'll personally pay for them."

"As for the top three in sales, if I can't get them to earn more than ten thousand dollars a month, I'll pay for it. It's effective for everyone!"

At that moment, even Richard's breathing became irregular …

They didn't have to do well, they just had to do better than most people. In this era where the average wage was two to three hundred dollars, the temptation of earning more than ten thousand dollars a month was too great!
