Qiao Anhao paused for a moment, then added, "I'm pregnant."

When Lu Jinnian heard that Qiao Anhao had gone to the hospital yesterday, his brows furrowed slightly.
Hospital?
Qiao Qiao went to the hospital yesterday?
How did he not know?
The assistant thought back to yesterday afternoon when Lu Jinnian received a call from Qiao Anhao crying, and he became a little nervous. "Mr. Lu, Miss Qiao called you yesterday and cried so hard. Did it have anything to do with going to the hospital?
Could it be that Miss Qiao has an incurable disease... "
Before the assistant could finish his sentence, he received a cold glare from Lu Jinnian. He was so shocked that he immediately raised his hand to cover his mouth. After a moment, he carefully said, "Mr. Lu, I misspoke, misspoke..."
Lu Jinnian didn't bother with the assistant at all, turning his head to look at Qiao Anhao who was standing on the stage. In his heart, he was still a little uneasy from the assistant's words.
Could it be that she really has an incurable disease...
Before the guess in Lu Jinnian's mind could fully form, he heard Qiao Anhao's gentle voice. "I'm pregnant."
Lu Jinnian calmly sat on the soft VIP seat, staring at Qiao Anhao on the stage. He gently blinked, his expression indifferent, as though she hadn't said anything.
The assistant, who was sitting beside him, was also stunned by the two words Qiao Anhao had said.
Even the judges and the audience were taken aback by her words.

"I want to keep this child, so before the child is born, I won't be taking any jobs. Regarding this sudden situation, I can only say that I'm very sorry. I'm sorry, I'm really sorry." Qiao Anhao gave another deep bow.
Qiao Anhao's explanation left everyone present unable to find an excuse to refute.
They couldn't let the contestant who won first place in the finals abort her child for a show. After all, it was a living life.
But if the first place of the competition was the female lead of the show, if it wasn't given to Qiao Anhao, would it go to second place?
Just as the producers were muttering to themselves, the Hollywood director heard the MC translate Qiao Anhao's words. He nodded and extended his hand towards Qiao Anhao, saying in a friendly manner, "Congratulations."
Qiao Anhao hurriedly reached out to shake the director's hand.
Then, the director raised the microphone and said, "This is something to be very happy about. I will communicate with the person in charge of this movie and strive to wait for the baby to be born before starting this movie."

The assistant's face was filled with surprise and excitement as he said, "Mr. Lu, Miss Qiao said she's pregnant."
