The barren wind blew on his body, giving him a slight chill.
Ye Chen sighed slightly, turned around and walked along the other end of the highway. After walking a few steps, he encountered a car that had crashed into the cliff. The car's headlights were smashed into smithereens, the hood was tilted up, and the goggles were stained with blood. It was obvious that the driver had died. His figure moved, and he did a hollow somersault, passing over the car, floated down, and continued to walk forward.
Along the way, he could see cars that had crashed into a terrible state. There were also splashes of blood, half of arms and bodies, and some traces of blood that had been dragged. It could be seen that when the disaster broke out, there was panic, turmoil, and tragedy on this highway.
Ye Chen walked past a corpse.
Roar!
The corpse that seemed to be dead suddenly opened its eyes. Its light green eyes were bloodthirsty, and it stretched out its hand to grab Ye Chen's heel. Suddenly, with a bang, its head exploded like a balloon, and black brain matter and blood splattered everywhere.
Ye Chen withdrew his pistol, coldly glanced at the headless corpse, and then turned around and walked away.
On the road, there were zombies lying on the ground or crawling on top of cars. They were motionless. If these zombies didn't encounter any food, they would enter a "deep sleep" state. In this state, they were no different from dead people. They didn't breathe, didn't have a heartbeat, and in this state, they wouldn't die even if they didn't eat for four or five months.
Bang, bang …
Not far away, a few zombies that were originally in a state of sleep opened their eyes, turned around, and rushed towards Ye Chen with bared fangs and brandished claws.
Ye Chen's expression was calm, and he stretched out his hand to open the gun. Three energy bullets the size of mung beans shot out, and in an instant, the heads of these zombies exploded.
After walking for a short while — —
"Roar ~ ~ ~"
Suddenly, from a building not far from the highway, there was an angry roar, followed by the sound of a building collapsing.
Ye Chen couldn't help but be startled. He casually killed a zombie that rushed over from the side, then turned around and walked to the side of the highway. He stared at the place where the monster roared. He saw that under two buildings, there was a monster that looked like a wolf. It was about two feet (6m) tall. Its whole body was brown in color and there was a small bump on its forehead. On its side abdomen, there were three bloody holes. The blood had already coagulated into scars.
"Earth Horn Beast!"
Ye Chen was a little surprised. The Earth Horn Beast was a type of monster that was very rare in the later stage. When it evolved to its complete form, a black horn would grow on its forehead, and it could guide the lightning from the sky to protect itself. At this stage, the Earth Horn Beast was also a level 30 existence. Coupled with its special body structure, even some level 35 monsters would have to avoid it. Among the land monsters, it was considered an elite level.
Turning his head to look, in front of the Earth Horn Beast, there was a two-storey tall building that covered a wide area. There was a lady in red armor, standing against the wind. She was wearing a fiery-red leather armor that perfectly outlined her full breasts. Her snow-white navel was exposed, and her lower abdomen was smooth and flat. She was wearing a short skirt made of animal skin that only covered her thighs, showing off her pair of slender, snow-white legs. Her sexy figure was enough to make most men have nosebleeds.
However, the most eye-catching thing was this beautiful lady. There was a cigarette hanging on her beautiful red lips, and she was holding a heavy machine gun in her hands. The muzzle of the gun was shaking non-stop, and the bullets were shooting out, forcing the Earth Horn Beast to flee. Although these bullets could not hurt it, if it was hit, it could still break through its skin and penetrate its flesh.
Crack!
The sexy woman in red leather armor had a cigarette between her red lips. She looked down at the Ground Horn Beast from above. She casually threw the machine gun on the ground beside her and pulled out a long sword from her back. It was an extremely long and wide black sword. It was about 2.5 meters long and one foot wide. It was almost one meter tall on her slender back. At first glance, this sword was even heavier than her body weight!
The woman in the red soft leather armor held a broadsword in her hand. She stomped on the ground with her brown leather boots and jumped down from the second floor of the building. She raised her broadsword and charged at the Ground Horn Beast like a barbaric warrior. Her black hair fluttered in the air and she looked extremely domineering!
Bang!
The Earth Horn Beast moved its body and dodged to the side. The sword hit the ground, creating a big hole in the cement floor. It was unknown what material the sword was made of, but it was extremely hard, and it did not break.
Ye Chen was slightly stunned … This lady could fight the Earth Horn Beast head-on?
Could she be a super evolved human?
Among the evolved humans, there were normal evolved humans, super evolved humans, and mutated evolved humans!
Among them, mutated evolved humans were the rarest and had the lowest probability. A normal mutated evolved human would have a huge change in their body structure. For example, they would grow an extra eye, or their pupils would change, and they would be able to see the internal structure of their body through their skin.
It was very difficult for this type of evolved human to die in the early stages. They would have a body constitution of level 20 in the first month.
A super evolved human would only increase their strength, improve their body constitution, and change their breathing organs. The position of their heart would also change, and they would have a body constitution of level 15 in the early stages!
A normal evolved human would have a body constitution of level 10 in the early stages. In the third month, they would have a body constitution of around level 30.
Human evolved humans were extremely rare, and most of them were normal evolved humans. Super evolved humans were extremely rare, and it was hard to find one in ten million people. As for mutated evolved humans, they were definitely one in a hundred million!
According to Ye Chen's knowledge, the commander-in-chief of China Base City, Murong Xue's father, was a super evolved human!
It was also because of this that many commanders and generals were suppressed. No one dared to use force to rebel!
If he did not activate his superhuman mode, Ye Chen would not be able to fight against him with his current body constitution of level 30. These people who had a natural advantage would be extremely terrifying in the end. Most of them would die in the ruins, or in the ruins, where they would be killed by the real dark creatures …
In just three months, Ye Chen, with a normal body constitution, had reached level 30, and was comparable to a normal evolved human. This kind of crazy speed of improvement was unique in the world!
It should be known that when the apocalypse broke out, these evolved humans had a body constitution of more than level 10 when they woke up. With this kind of body constitution, it was enough to wipe out normal zombies. Only some leopards, lions, tigers, and other ferocious evolved monsters were a threat to them. In this kind of situation, the speed of killing zombies was terrifying. It was far from what Ye Chen could compare with in the early stages. At that time, he was only holding a fire axe, carefully surviving. These evolved humans, however, could already walk on the streets with a swagger.
But in just three months, Ye Chen had caught up with the strength of a normal evolved human. If he entered his superhuman mode, he would also be able to kill a mutated evolved human!
At the current stage, there was no one who could threaten Ye Chen's life.
After the Atlantis civilization was excavated, the Scientific Research Department obtained the gene fusion technology from it, and superhumans began to become common.
While Ye Chen was thinking, the battle opposite him had ended. The woman with the red soft leather armor split open the head of the Earth Horn Beast and stepped on it. She slowly pulled out the knife, tied it with a rope, and carried it on her back. Then, she carried the Earth Horn Beast on her shoulder. A two-feet-tall monster was carried by a 1.78m woman. It was extremely shocking. She jumped straight to the second floor, and with the tip of her foot, she picked up the machine gun on the ground and grabbed it casually. Her body moved, and she rushed away.
Not long after, her figure disappeared into the distance. Ye Chen slowly retracted his gaze and sighed in his heart. An evolved human was indeed an evolved human. She was born with a strong innate ability, and was equivalent to the existence of the ancient royal family. The only thing that made people feel slightly relieved was that anyone could evolve. Even a beggar could have a huge increase in strength after the apocalypse. From then on, he could stand at the top of everyone. Women, food, and anything else could be exchanged with just a few pieces of meat.
Judging from the way this woman killed the Earth Horn Beast, although her skills were a mess, her strength was extremely powerful. She was able to kill the Earth Horn Beast with her strength alone. It was obvious that she was not an ordinary evolved human, but a super evolved human!
At level 1H3, a super evolved human's vitality was about level 45!
"It seems that my strength is still increasing too slowly."
Ye Chen shook his head and sighed. Although level 30 was very strong and could defeat the generals in China Base City, if he encountered a super evolved human like the commander-in-chief, he would have to activate his superhuman state.
Although he had the memory of being reborn, he did not have the strength to go to most of the places that could increase his strength quickly. After he obtained the God's Blood from Atlantis, he would form an elite team and go to many small ruins to excavate the treasures inside. By then, his strength would increase tremendously …
After thinking for a while, Ye Chen turned around and left. He quickly rushed to the other side of the highway.
