While Li Yuandao and Qin Xie were running for their lives, the 18 Qin Clan guards were only able to stop the demonic beast temporarily.
Qin Xie had already thrown away his dazzling golden armor. Although it looked good, it was a burden when running for their lives. Not only was it cumbersome, but it was also very conspicuous, making it an easy target for demonic beasts.
Qin Xie was a proud person. The title of Tiannan's number one prodigy had already made him a little complacent.
The 18 Qin Clan guards were Qin Xie's source of confidence. He had always believed that as long as he had the 18 Qin Clan guards, he would be able to run amok in this secret realm and do whatever he wanted.
Even though Qin Feng had displayed extraordinary combat strength, Qin Xie did not take it to heart. As long as the 18 Qin Clan guards were there, he could still suppress Qin Feng.
However, the 18 Qin Clan guards were annihilated in a single battle against a demonic beast.
If the 18 Qin Clan guards had not risked their lives to buy time for Qin Xie and Li Yuandao to escape, the two of them would have most likely died in the hands of that demonic beast.
They had never seen such a terrifying demonic beast. Its body was huge, its speed was fast, and its strength was shocking.
The 18 Qin Clan guards were all veterans in battle. They were martial artists who were one in ten thousand and were experts in joint attack formations. However, in front of this demonic beast, they were like mantises trying to stop a chariot.
"That's a demonic beast from the legends, a mountain demon!" Li Yuandao's face was pale. After running for hundreds of miles, he had already exhausted all his strength.
"A mountain demon. Legend has it that a mountain gave birth to a demon. It was born from countless demonic beasts and gathered the beast nature of countless demonic beasts and the spiritual energy of the mountain. It's a demonic beast from the legends!" Qin Xie swallowed two pills in succession. His face was full of fear.
There were records of mountain demons in the Qin Clan's ancient records. However, it was only a legend after all. The Tiannan Empire had been established for more than 800 years. There had never been any mention of a mountain demon.
Not to mention the Tiannan Empire, even the Qin Clan, which was even older, had never heard of it.
However, in this Mystery Realm, they actually saw a mountain demon. It had practically crushed 18 Qin Clan guards. Such terrifying strength had far exceeded the limit of the Tremendous Strength Realm.
"Roar!" A faint roar came from behind them.
Li Yuandao and Qin Xie's expressions changed drastically. The mountain demon had caught up and was getting closer and closer to them.
"Run separately. At least one of us can survive if we run separately. If we stay together, both of us will die!" Li Yuandao panted heavily.
After witnessing the overwhelming strength of the mountain demon, Qin Xie and Li Yuandao lost the will to resist. All they could think of was to escape.
"Take care!" Qin Xie only left this sentence.
Bang!
Suddenly, a huge body descended from the sky. This mountain demon had the ability to fly in the air. Its huge wings created a hurricane.
The glimmer of hope that had just sprouted was completely extinguished at this moment.
The mountain demon was toying with Li Yuandao and Qin Xie. With his ability to fly, Li Yuandao could catch up to the two of them in an instant. However, the mountain demon had been following them from afar, toying with its prey like a cat toying with a mouse.
Now that the mountain demon had caught up to Li Yuandao and Qin Xie, the game of cat and mouse was over. Their lives would end here.
Qin Xie glanced at Li Yuandao beside him and said, "I don't want to die!"
"Qin Xie, you …" Li Yuandao looked at Qin Xie in horror. Qin Xie had slashed off Li Yuandao's legs, causing blood to gush out.
"Qin Xie, how dare you treat me like this. I'll wipe out your entire family!" Li Yuandao wailed.
However, Qin Xie didn't care about it and just kept running!
The mountain demon grabbed Li Yuandao and shoved him into its mouth. It started chewing with big mouthfuls.
However, the mountain demon flapped its wings and a strong wind blew. Its huge body soared into the sky and instantly appeared in front of Qin Xie.
Qin Xie's face was pale. In order to survive, he didn't hesitate to betray Li Yuandao. However, it was futile in front of the mountain demon!
"I don't want to die. I don't want to die. Help! Help!" Qin Xie screamed crazily.
The mountain demon flapped its wings and Qin Xie was blown more than a thousand feet away by the strong wind. He slammed into the rubble.
Boom!
The huge impact caused the rubble to collapse, revealing the tree trunk inside.
Qin Xie, who was covered in blood, was stunned. He patted the tree trunk excitedly and said, "Is there anyone inside? Is there anyone inside? Save me! Save me!"
The mountain demon flapped its wings and a strong wind blew away the layers of tree trunk.
Bang!
Qin Feng, who was in the cave, threw a punch. The powerful fist force collided with the strong wind from the mountain demon's fan. The huge tree trunk was instantly reduced to sawdust.
Qin Xie crawled to Qin Feng's side as though he had found a life-saving straw. "Save me! Save me! This demonic beast wants to kill me!"
Qin Feng kicked Qin Xie into the cave and said, "Look after him!"
Jiang Ziyue looked at the mountain demon that had grown wings and asked, "What kind of demonic beast is this?"
"Mountain demon!
It's the legendary mountain demon! "Qin Xie, who was being held down by Zhou Delin and the others, shouted.
"Run! Let's run while Qin Feng is holding the mountain demon back. That mountain demon is too scary. We are no match for it. Only True Energy Realm martial artists can deal with it. Run! Run out of the secret realm. Once we are out of the secret realm, we will be saved," Qin Xie said.
Zhou Delin chuckled and said, "Tiannan's number one sky-pride. So this is the number one sky-pride in Tiannan. What an eye-opener!"
"I'm not going to talk nonsense with you. Even if you don't run, don't stop me!" Qin Xie struggled.
"Hmph! You lured the mountain demon here and wanted us to be your scapegoat. Qin Xie, you are really smart." Zheng Huaiyi sneered.
"You … You are talking nonsense. I didn't do it! I didn't do it!" Qin Xie quibbled.
"Why are you talking nonsense with this kind of person? Let's just kill him. It will save everyone a lot of trouble!" Kong Batou looked at Qin Xie's neck and wanted to chop it off.
Zhou Delin shook his head and said, "After all, he is from the same race as Big Boss. Let's wait for Big Boss to come back first. Let's keep an eye on him first!"
"Come back? You want him to come back alive? Impossible. He is dead for sure. He is just a 2nd … 3rd level Colossus Realm?
He broke through? "Qin Xie was stunned.
When they entered the secret realm, Qin Feng was only a 2nd level Colossus Realm martial artist. This kid actually broke through in just five days?
"So what if you are a 3rd level Colossus Realm martial artist? In front of this mountain demon, you are just food. Listen to my advice. Run!" Qin Xie begged.
"Shut up! Do you think everyone is as useless as you?!"
Kong Badou stepped on Qin Xie's head and directly stomped Qin Xie's head into the mud, feeding Qin Xie a mouthful of mud.
Zheng Huaiyi and the rest were also furious. They had been hiding in this cave for the past few days. In order to prevent other martial artists from seeing through their disguise, they even laid a layer of gravel outside the cave.
But Qin Xie, this idiot, came knocking and even attracted a terrifying demonic beast like the mountain demon!
Qin Xie, this bastard, had sinister intentions. From the start, he didn't have good intentions. After discovering that there might be martial artists hiding in this cave, he wanted to lure the mountain demon here and harm these martial artists like how he harmed Li Yuandao. Then, he would be able to escape.
However, Qin Xie didn't expect that there would be so many martial artists hiding in this cave. Moreover, he even encountered a freak like Qin Feng. After discovering that his opponent was a mountain demon, he actually didn't run!
"Big Brother Zheng, isn't the mountain demon just a legend?" Jiang Ziyue asked.
"The probability of a mountain demon appearing is extremely low. In the records of my Thousand Gold Pavilion, there are only a few of them," Zheng Huaiyi said.
Qin Feng looked at the mountain demon in front of him and smiled, "The so-called mountain demon is just a demonic beast that condenses the corpse qi of demonic beasts in a place rich in spiritual energy!"
The martial artists of the Tiannan Empire said that the mountain demon was extremely terrifying and powerful. In fact, when it was still a demonic beast egg, it was corroded by the corpse qi and mutated.
After being corroded by the corpse qi and mutated, it condensed a large amount of spiritual energy of heaven and earth. As soon as the mountain demon hatched, it had a powerful combat strength!
The formation of a mountain demon required two conditions at the same time. Therefore, mountain demons were very rare. Those who had seen one were even rarer.
However, for Qin Feng, it was very common for him to encounter one or two mountain demons while traveling. Moreover, the mountain demons he encountered weren't as weak as the one in front of him.
During these few days of hiding, Qin Feng didn't run out of elixirs. The spiritual energy of heaven and earth in this secret realm was much more abundant than the outside world. Naturally, he broke through and his physical strength increased to eighty thousand jin!
"It's so huge!"
Qin Feng couldn't help but sigh when he saw the mountain demon. The body of the mountain demon was indeed ridiculously huge.
Qin Feng was in a daze, but the mountain demon wasn't. A huge palm slammed down!
"Boss is in a daze?" Zhou Delin was shocked.
"He's dead for sure. That mountain demon is terrifyingly strong. Even a 9th level Amalgamation realm expert isn't a match for it. Let's hurry up and run … Wuu!" Qin Xie had just opened his mouth when Kong Badou stomped him into the ground.
Boom!
Even though they were more than a hundred feet away, they could feel the ground trembling. It was as though there was an earthquake. The strength of this mountain demon was truly terrifying.
Qin Feng didn't dodge and was hit by the huge palm. Jiang Ziyue and the others couldn't help but feel their hearts tighten. Would Qin Feng be fine?
Just as they were worried about Qin Feng, the soil beneath the mountain demon's feet loosened. The mountain demon lost its balance and instinctively wanted to flap its wings to soar into the sky. A figure broke out of the ground and punched the mountain demon's wings.
The mountain demon lost its balance and its huge body fell to the ground. Qin Feng swooped down and punched the mountain demon's head.
Bang!
The mountain demon saw stars after being hit by the huge force. It didn't expect this puny human to possess such terrifying strength.
Qin Feng looked at the sky and said, "It's coming!"
Jiang Ziyue and the others looked at the flame in the sky in astonishment. The light blue flame spun at high speed and fell straight down.
The mountain demon seemed to have felt the threat of death as it roared and crawled up!
"No, don't move!" Qin Feng punched the mountain demon's head again.
In just a few moments, the spinning flame had already pierced the mountain demon's head!
"Roar!"
The mountain demon let out a miserable cry. However, this was also the last sound it made. This mountain demon that terrified Qin Xie and the others was actually killed by Qin Feng just like that.
A long spear pierced through the mountain demon's head. It was the long spear that Qin Feng refined using the flaming horn of the Red-horned Bull!
