"Which one is missing?" Lin Shao also became nervous,
"Do you still remember?"
The West Queen Mother frowned,
She seemed to be recalling,
After a while, she said, "It's Qishu.
But it shouldn't have run out of this place,
As long as one of these beasts runs out, it will be discovered very quickly,
After all, its talent is too strong,
After it goes out, the reaction of the outside world will be very obvious.
It's still here.
We have to ask Luwu about all these things. "
"Can we find Luwu?" Lin Shao asked.
"It should be possible,"
The West Queen Mother said, "as long as he hasn't gone too far."
The West Queen Mother set up a formation on the spot,
She used Luwu's enchantment power to draw out a trace of it as a guide,
Lin Shao watched the power float in the air for a while,
Then he pointed in a direction.
"There!" The West Queen Mother's eyes lit up,
She said, "Quick!
Follow and take a look! "
Lin Shao's reaction was also fast. He followed the thin strand of power that was like a hair and chased after it. He chased for a long distance and then stopped in place.
The power stopped, which meant that Luwu was not far away.
This place happened to be a cliff, but it was not high and not steep, it was about 50 meters.
It was only about fifty meters. He looked down from the treetops.
Below them was a dense thicket of bushes.
He could not see what was going on below.
He thought for a moment,
Then he gritted his teeth and jumped down. Such a height could not hurt Lin Shao. After he jumped to the ground, he only felt that it was very soft, as if he was stepping on a carpet. At first, he thought that it might be because the leaves were too thick, but it seemed that something was different.
The West Queen Mother also jumped down. She glanced at Lin Shao and asked, "Is there a problem?"
Lin Shao pointed at his feet. Then he used a little strength and pulled up a layer of leaves. This layer was quite thick. After pulling it away, Lin Shao saw something special exposed. It looked like a tiger's tail.
"It's Luwu!"
The West Queen Mother recognized it at a glance and quickly reached out to clean up other places. Luwu's entire body was exposed.
Luwu's beast form was a tiger with nine tails. No one knew how long he had been lying here. His body was filled with layers of soil and leaves.
The West Queen Mother went forward to check on his condition. She first heaved a sigh of relief and said to Lin Shao, "He's still alive."
But the following examination made the West Queen Mother's expression become complicated again.
"He's seriously injured," the West Queen Mother said. "He probably chose to hibernate in this way out of self-protection."
Lin Shao asked, "Can he be cured now?"
"I'm not good at this. I have to get The Ghost Of Locust here," the West Queen Mother said. "Let's get him out first."
After a while, Lin Shao carried Luwu's body to a more suitable place to rest. It was on a rock under a big tree.
The Ghost Of Locust also came quickly. He took the time to check on Luwu and said to Lin Shao, "There aren't many wounds on his body. Only the one on his forehead is seriously injured. He should have been killed in one hit.
What's strange is that a beast with such strength like Luwu could be killed in one hit. He probably didn't put up any defenses. "
Lin Shao thought for a while and asked, "Was it Qishu who escaped?
What kind of beast is this? "
"Qishu escaped?"
The Ghost Of Locust was surprised at first, then frowned. "Qishu has its own story.
He should be considered a special one among the locked beasts. Speaking of which, he's quite pitiful.
Qishu used to be a god under the Yellow Emperor. He was honest and dutiful. But later, Erfu was provoked by Wei and killed Qishu.
When the Yellow Emperor heard about this, he executed Wei and punished Erfu heavily. He also tried to find a way to save Qishu. In the end, although Qishu was resurrected, Qishu's mental state was very bad. He accidentally fell into the Weak Water. His figure and temperament changed greatly. He loved to kill. Wherever he appeared, rivers of blood would flow. So, he was caught and locked up. "
After listening, Lin Shao glanced at Luwu and asked, "Is Luwu on good terms with him?"
"I'm not sure." The Ghost Of Locust's hands did not stop moving. "It should be said that with Luwu's personality, he has good relations with many races. But he's not stupid. He should still have the necessary defenses. I don't know under what circumstances he would be in such an unguarded state."
Lin Shao leaned over to take a look and asked, "Can Luwu wake up?"
The Ghost Of Locust said, "He should be able to wake up if we save him now, but it will take some time.
By the way, after I checked, I found that he has been in this state for a long time. I think it's at least three years. In other words, Qishu might have escaped long ago. "
Lin Shao nodded, indicating that he understood. He glanced at the West Queen Mother and asked, "If we can find Qishu, we can find out what happened here."
"That's strange." The West Queen Mother frowned. "If Qishu ran out, he should have been discovered long ago. There are many races in the Intermediate Realm.
I saw what kind of state he was in when he was imprisoned. He couldn't control himself at all. He was silent for several years. This is unimaginable for a Direbeast.
Could it be that after being imprisoned for so long, he changed? "
Lin Shao had not even seen what Qishu looked like. However, the quest he received this time was from Luwu. The quest content also stated that Luwu felt that it was "meaningless". The escaped Qishu was just a trigger.
"After running for so long, it shouldn't be that easy to find him again." The West Queen Mother walked around in circles and said to Lin Shao, "Go and look for Phoenix. Maybe you can find him if you expand your search area."
Lin Shao had informed Phoenix about this matter early in the morning. After all, the Direbeast had run away.
Phoenix, who had not rested for long because of Candle Dragon's matter, had to come out to help again. However, there was no news for a while.
Lin Shao was in a deadlock at the beginning of the quest. However, he still had a way out. He had not checked the system store yet.
The last time Lin Shao used 1,000 points to exchange for Kunpeng's Soul Essence, the system store had already been updated. However, at that time, his points were almost empty. No matter what was refreshed, he could not afford it. So, he did not look at it seriously. Now that the quest was completed, Lin Shao had accumulated a lot of points from the derivative quest. Now that his points had returned to the four-digit level, it was time to see what the system store refreshed.
The refreshed items in the system store generally had a strong impact on the current quest. Lin Shao opened it and looked at it. The newly refreshed item looked like a round candy. It cost 400 points. It was not expensive, and it was much more friendly than the last time. The name was also very strange. It was called "Fruit of the Immortal Tree."
Lin Shao looked at the description below. At first glance, he thought that this thing was for him to eat, like the tomatoes and strawberries from before. However, after looking at it, he realized that this was not the case. This thing was for the Direbeasts.
"Other than the Taotie, most Direbeasts do not have any appetite for food. This is because they can't taste most food.
However, the fruit of the Immortal Tree can let the Direbeasts taste what they want to taste. It can also give them a short illusion. This experience fascinates the Direbeasts and gives them a moment of peace.
There are very few Trees of Immortality in the Mountain and Sea Realm, and each Tree of Immortality will only bear a single fruit in its lifetime. Therefore, even though the beasts would go crazy over the fruit, they would never be able to eat it. "
After reading it, Lin Shao understood. This fruit was for the Direbeasts that had not escaped.
Although each of them pretended to be innocent in front of Bai Ze, saying that they were locked up and did not know anything, they had been here for so long that it was impossible for them not to know anything.
These Direbeasts were all stubborn. It was basically impossible to make them submit with force alone. Besides, they were hoping that something would happen to Lu Wu. How could they let Lin Shao find out anything?
