After listening to Wu Yang's explanation, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
Especially Tan Lin and Yang Qian, they were so nervous that their palms were sweating.
On the other side, while Su Chen was killing zombies, he suddenly noticed a few fireballs flying towards him.
He had never encountered a situation where zombies were casting spells before.
He was stunned for a moment, then immediately used [Golden Scales on the Arm] to sweep away the fireballs that were flying towards him.
Although the Level-1 Fireballs could not cause him any harm, they were still a nuisance.
He ordered the [Mechanical Soldiers] to hunt down zombies that could cast spells.
The [Mechanical Soldiers] were made of solid metal, so even if they were bitten by zombies, they would not suffer any damage.
Coupled with their powerful abilities, they rushed into the zombie crowd as if there was no one there, and quickly killed the mutated zombies that could cast spells.
After solving the problem, Su Chen could focus on killing zombies.
Half an hour later, Su Chen and the [Mechanical Soldiers] worked together and slaughtered thousands of zombies.
Looking at the hundreds of fragments on the ground, Su Chen suppressed his excitement and waved towards the direction of the small forest.
"Chen Ge is calling us." Yang Hao shouted and rushed forward excitedly.
Shi Daniu and Cao Ran did not want to be left behind, and they followed closely behind Yang Hao.
"In just half an hour, almost a thousand zombies were killed?" Although he saw it with his own eyes, Wu Yang still swallowed his saliva.
The speed at which Su Chen killed the zombies was the fastest he had ever seen.
He even felt that even if a few Level-3 evolutionaries worked together, they would not be able to kill as fast as Su Chen.
"Brother Wu, let's go."
The others had already run towards Su Chen, and only Wu Yang was still in a daze. Yang Lingtian reminded him with a smile.
"Alright, let's go." Wu Yang came back to his senses and jogged over with Yang Lingtian.
.....
"Xiao Tie, you're in charge of defense. If zombies come close, kill them immediately." Su Chen ordered and started to pick up the fragments.
The first one was a colorful fragment.
"Picked up [Fusion Gem] Fragment * 1, (1 | 1). Full of fragments, can be used or exchanged for energy points."
"Use."
The value of the [Fusion Gem] was still very high. Su Chen did not choose to exchange it for energy points.
With the [Fusion Gem], Kieran could successfully install the [Level 1 Pulse Cannon] onto the [Intelligent Chariot].
Without a doubt, the attack power of the [Intelligent War Chariot] had increased by another level.
After putting the Fusion Gem into his storage bag, Su Chen continued to pick up fragments. The second one was also a colorful fragment.
"Picked up [Upgrade Gem] Fragment * 1, (1 | 1). The fragments are full. Can be used or exchanged for energy points."
"Use."
The value of the [Upgrade Gem] was even higher than the [Fusion Gem]. Su Chen still had a bunch of things waiting to be upgraded, so naturally, he would not exchange them for energy points.
Looking at the green gems in his hand, Su Chen began to think about which one to upgrade first to get the most benefits.
Logically speaking, upgrading the [Mechanical Soldier] was the best choice. The [Mechanical Soldier] was already at Level 2. After upgrading, it would become Level 3 and have the ability to fight against a Level 4 Evolver.
However, once the [Mechanical Soldier] reached Level 3, it would need Level 3 Energy Stones or Level 3 Energy Stones to operate.
However, Su Chen did not have any of these on him.
In this way, the upgraded [Mechanical Soldier] would become a pile of scrap metal and would be useless.
As for the storage bag and [Rapid Combat Boots], Su Chen felt that they were enough for now.
After thinking about it, he decided to keep them and see if he could get some Level 3 Energy Stones or Level 3 Energy Stones in the future.
If he could get them, he would naturally choose to upgrade the [Mechanical Soldier].
If he could not get them, it would not be too late to upgrade the others.
