"It's just a Level 3 mutated beast. Why are you looking down on me?" Su Chen rubbed his nose and said calmly.
"Chen Ge, I believe in you. But that guy is too big!"
Yang Hao explained, then clicked his tongue and probed, "Chen Ge, you're not really going to make a move on him, are you?"
Su Chen smiled but didn't say anything.
He had to kill this Black Flame Explosive Dragon no matter what.
But before that, he wanted to see how strong the Black Scorching Drake was. So, he wasn't in a hurry to attack.
At the same time, on one of the city walls of Fengxi Settlement.
A young man of about twenty-seven or twenty-eight years old in black robes looked at the Black Flame Explosive Dragon above his head.
His originally fair face was grave to the extreme at this moment.
After a glance, he retracted his gaze and ordered the people around him, "Spread the word. Once the defensive formation is broken, everyone should run for their lives."
After he finished speaking, he let out a long sigh and clenched his hands together as if he was very unwilling, but there was nothing he could do.
"Leader, you should plan ahead," one of them said worriedly.
The defensive formation definitely wouldn't be able to stop the Black Scorching Drake. It would be too late to leave the moment the formation was broken.
The young man in black sighed, "All of you should leave."
"Leader, what about you?" the man who spoke before asked.
"If the city lives, I live. If the city dies, I die!"
The young man in black looked determined. He seemed to have made up his mind. "I, Han Kun, will never leave."
The others looked at each other and said in unison, "We swear to live and die with our leader!"
"Why do you have to do this?"
Han Kun couldn't bear to do this. Just as he was about to say something, the entire city shook violently as if it had been hit by an earthquake.
"The Black Scorching Drake is attacking!"
Han Kun's expression changed. He quickly looked up.
The Black Scorching Drake that was circling above reached out a thick claw and slammed it on the light barrier.
The entire light barrier began to tremble violently. Then, cracks began to appear all over the barrier like a spider web.
In the blink of an eye, it covered the entire light barrier, and it looked like it could shatter at any moment.
At this moment, the Black Flame Dragon roared into the sky, causing the void to vibrate.
As the long howl gradually dissipated, it stretched out its claw and slapped the light barrier.
A 'crack' sound was heard.
The entire formation shattered like glass, revealing the original appearance of Fengxi colony.
It was also at this moment that the city fell into extreme panic.
The humans living here fled in all directions for their lives.
"Fengxi gathering place is finished …" Han Kun swept his gaze across the city. He slowly closed his eyes as though he could not bear to see the humans being massacred.
As for why they did not fight to the death with the Mutant Beasts?
That was because he knew very well that he wouldn't even be able to withstand a single swipe of the Blackflame Explosive Dragon's claw.
Any struggle would be futile.
The Black Flame Explosion Dragon smashed the defensive formation and looked down with its huge eyes. Soon, it locked its gaze on Han Kun and the others.
.....
Su Chen saw this and was ready to act.
Based on his previous observations, he had determined that the Black Flame Explosive Dragon had the ability to kill a Level-4 Evolver.
Even if he were to fight it, it would not be easy.
However, he would not back down.
Since he was known to be invincible, he would remain invincible.
Let alone a Level-3 Black Flame Explosive Dragon, he would kill even a Level-4 one today!
