"I see." Su Chen was enlightened.
Some cultivators would even turn themselves into zombies in order to survive when they were nearing the end of their lifespan.
If they didn't even care about becoming zombies, it was understandable that they would enter the Abandoned Land.
"Are there any high-level mutated beasts in the Abandoned Land?" Su Chen asked the most important question.
"Senior, what level of mutated beast are you referring to?" The half-beast tribesman probed.
"Level-8 and above," Su Chen said.
"The highest-level mutated beast in the Abandoned Land is only Level-3. There are no Level-8 and above," the half-orc answered with certainty.
"Not even one?"
Su Chen's expression turned serious.
Without Level-8 mutated beasts, they wouldn't be able to obtain Level-8 energy stones and leave this place.
This was something he didn't want to see.
However, if there were Level-7 insect beasts here, why weren't there any high-level mutated beasts?
Su Chen continued to ask, "Are there no high-level mutated beasts here?"
"There used to be many, but as more and more people entered the Abandoned Land, the food became scarce. Those mutated beasts were hunted for food," the half-orc explained.
Su Chen's eyes lit up when he heard this.
After the mutated beasts were hunted, there would definitely be energy stones. There might even be Level-8 energy stones.
"Are there any Level-8 energy stones in the Abandoned Land?" Su Chen continued to ask.
"Yes, but there are very few of them. They are all in the hands of three powerful individuals," the half-orc answered quickly.
Powerful individuals?
What level were they?
Su Chen suddenly realized a very serious problem. After all, this place was different from other continents. There wouldn't be any Saint-level individuals, right?
With his current strength, he could at most contend with a pseudo-Saint-level individual. He definitely couldn't defeat a Saint-level individual.
If the Level-8 energy stones were in the hands of a Saint-level individual, he would be in big trouble.
Thinking of this, Su Chen asked anxiously, "What level are the so-called powerful individuals you mentioned?"
"They are above Level-10, but they are not Saint-level individuals," the half-orc answered.
"Then they are pseudo-Saint-level individuals." Su Chen heaved a sigh of relief.
If they were false Saints, he and Wu Yazi would be able to defeat them one by one.
Of course, he didn't want to make a move unless it was absolutely necessary.
After all, as the strongest person here, the False Saint would definitely have a large number of Level 10 cultivators as his subordinates.
Even if he and Wu Yazi worked together, they wouldn't be able to fend them off.
"Tell me more about the three supreme experts," Su Chen said in a low voice.
The beastman slowly said, "Sky Capital's Li Kuiyang, White Emperor City's Hu Jun, and Returning Sun Valley's Han Haoyang."
Su Chen noted them down one by one and then asked, "Which race are they from?"
"Li Kuiyang is a human, Hu Jun is from the Night Demon Clan, and Han Haoyang is from the Law Clan," the half-beast answered honestly.
"There are humans too?"
Su Chen was overjoyed.
If they were to make a deal, they would naturally be chosen to be of the same race.
"Which of these three forces is the strongest?" Su Chen continued to ask.
"Sky Capital used to be the strongest, but now they are being suppressed by White Emperor City and Returning Sun Valley. They are in a precarious situation," the half-beast answered after thinking for a while.
Hearing this, Su Chen's mind started to work.
Sky Capital was in a precarious situation. If they worked together, there was a high chance that they could destroy White Emperor City and Returning Sun Valley.
White Emperor City and Returning Sun Valley were both forces of the mutated races. If they killed all of the mutated races, the fragments that would drop would definitely be massive.
Thinking of this, Su Chen made a decision. He had to try to work together with Li Kuiyang.
