Yang Yan's expression turned cold. Under the gazes of many cultivators, a scorching wave of true energy erupted from his body.
His eyes were filled with coldness and a murderous aura filled the surroundings.
Everyone could tell that Yang Yan was furious.
Many gazes were cast over from the spectator stands.
"Yang Yan's strength is ranked fourth on the Xuan Ranking. He can even fight against a first-level Transcendence Realm expert. Plus, he cultivates one of the two mid-grade Truth Tier cultivation methods of the Yang Clan, the Flaming Code of Earth. Ye Xingchen has no chance of winning against him." An upper echelon commented casually.
They were all at the seventh level of the Transcendence Realm and their vision was incomparable to True Fate Realm cultivators. Naturally, they could tell Yang Yan's cultivation and strength.
On the other side, Jian Chen sat on his seat and looked at the arena with a gloomy gaze. No one knew what he was thinking.
Mo Yunxue whispered to Lin Yanyu, "Ye Xingchen is in trouble now. He'll probably lose against Yang Yan."
Although she didn't like Ye Xingchen, he was still someone that her good friend liked. At this moment, she was somewhat worried in the depths of her heart.
Lin Yanyu's pretty face was filled with nervousness and she unconsciously clenched the corner of her clothes.
Ye Linger sat to the side and said, "Big sister Lin, don't worry about big brother. His strength is completely on par with Yang Yan."
After half a month of cultivation, Ye Linger's cultivation had increased to the seventh level of the True Fate Realm. She had always followed Ye Xingchen, so she naturally understood him very well and was filled with confidence.
On the arena, Yang Yan clenched his hands and a lava-like true energy spread out, causing the air to become scorching hot. Chi!
Chi!
Drops of true energy fell to the ground and burned the floor.
Bang!
Yang Yan clenched his fist tightly, and lava-like Earthfire True Qi gathered on his fist, emitting a faint crimson glow. His body moved, and his entire body shot out like an arrow towards Ye Xingchen's chest.
His words just now were filled with arrogance, but he wouldn't underestimate Ye Xingchen's strength. When he attacked, he used fifty percent of his strength.
Ye Xingchen's expression was calm. He circulated the Great Sun True Qi in his body and condensed it on his palm. Then, he struck out with his palm.
The martial artists under the ring were very nervous at this moment because this could be regarded as a battle between the top ten martial artists on the Xuan List.
Boom!
Under their nervous gazes, the fist and the palm collided.
Yang Yan's expression changed. He felt as if his fist had collided with a piece of Spiritual Iron. At the same time, a formless energy shook his hand, causing his palm to ache and his arm to go numb.
"Body refining martial artist!"
Yang Yan hurriedly took a step back, putting some distance between them. When facing a body refinement martial artist, what he feared the most was close combat.
"Hmm? Ye Xingchen cultivates both body and true qi. No wonder he can fight Jian Chen to a draw. Yang Yan was careless earlier and suffered a little."
"Haha, body refinement martial artists are also more powerful in close combat. After Yang Yan understands his strength, he will pull away and attack from a distance."
"That's right. The Yang family's Law of the Earth is extremely powerful. The Earth Fire True Qi cultivated can melt gold and rocks. It's really powerful."
On the high platform, some of the upper echelons revealed a smear of surprise, but they soon calmed down.
Body refinement martial artists were powerful, but if they didn't condense an invincible fist intent, they would be unable to fight against Qi Practitioners who attacked from a distance.
"Just what other powerful techniques does Ye Xingchen have hidden?" Mo Yunxue mumbled.
Ye Linger glanced at her and said, "Brother Xing is powerful. Even if Yang Yan attacks from a distance, he can't hurt him."
"Ye Xingchen, I've underestimated you. You're actually a body refinement martial artist. You've surprised me, but this is as far as you can go. I'll show you the power of the Law of the Earth that I cultivate."
Yang Yan's face darkened slightly. He had actually lost the upper hand due to his carelessness. This was unacceptable for someone as proud as him.
Next, he would suppress Ye Xingchen with lightning speed. Only then could he redeem his face.
Yang Yan mobilized the Earth Fire True Qi in his body and condensed several Earth Fire Lotuses in the air, enveloping Ye Xingchen.
The Earth Fire Lotuses were condensed from the Earth Fire True Qi in his body. Once it exploded, it could injure a first layer Transcendence expert.
Ye Xingchen didn't move. He wanted to test if his body was powerful enough.
He opened thirteen acupoints in his body and resonated. Essence Qi and blood filled his body, forming a transparent barrier that enveloped him.
"You dare to take it head-on with your body? Ye Xingchen, you're too naive." Yang Yan saw through Ye Xingchen's intention. He smiled coldly and said, "Explode!"
The thirty-two Earth Fire Lotuses suddenly exploded under the gaze of many martial artists. Waves of scorching hot air spread out in all directions. Even the barrier above the arena trembled. From this, one could see the power of this attack. Even a Transcendence expert wouldn't dare to take it head-on.
"Sigh, Ye Xingchen is too confident in his body. If he takes the Earth Fire Lotuses head-on, even if he doesn't die, he'll be severely injured," a martial artist sighed.
In the spectator stands, the gazes of some of the upper echelons focused on this side. Someone said, "The winner has been decided. Ye Xingchen can't take the Earth Fire Lotuses."
Under the gaze of many martial artists, the flames that enveloped Ye Xingchen gradually dissipated. A figure appeared in front of the crowd.
"Completely unharmed?"
After the crowd saw clearly, their eyes narrowed and they all gasped.
He had exceeded their expectations. Ye Xingchen took the attack head-on and was actually not injured. Even his clothes and hair were not messed up.
Ye Xingchen's eyes were bright like Stars. He was dressed in a blue robe that was as vast as the sea. At this moment, he seemed to be at ease. He didn't look as battered as the crowd had imagined.
"How is this possible?"
Yang Yan was shocked. He was very confident in his attack. Even the top two on the Xuan Ranking, Tian Gang and Di Sha, wouldn't be unharmed if they took it head-on.
"Ye Xingchen, I don't believe that you can take my Earth Fire." Yang Yan was furious. He mobilized a scarlet flame in his Qi Sea and appeared in mid-air.
This scarlet flame was a rare flame that he had painstakingly found. Then, he used his Earth Fire True Qi to nourish it. When the two merged into one, it had a terrifyingly high temperature that could even melt third-level spiritual iron.
Boom!
Yang Yan mobilized the Earth Fire and enveloped Ye Xingchen.
"Yang Yan is using his killer move. It's actually the Earth Fire. I wonder if Ye Xingchen can withstand it?"
Many martial artists and the upper echelons stared at the arena without blinking.
They only saw Ye Xingchen smiling slightly. Using flames in front of him was like playing with a big knife in front of Guan Yu. The Yin-Yang Fire in his body was one of the most powerful flames in the world. Although he couldn't unleash its full strength because of his cultivation, it wasn't something that a mere Earth Fire could withstand.
Ye Xingchen spewed out a ball of black and white flames. Under the astonished gaze of the crowd, the two balls of flames collided.
