"Buy?
Are they willing to sell it? "Anna said in a low voice.
"Since they put the sculpture in the park, they definitely don't know the value of this sculpture. We can definitely buy it with some money."
Allen said confidently. As if they were afraid that the sculpture would run away if they delayed for a while, they quickly rushed to the management center of the cultural park. They stated their purpose and offered 20,000 yuan for the marble sculpture in Fanglin Court.
In fact, they were willing to pay ten or a hundred times more, let alone 20,000 yuan. However, they didn't want to make it too obvious, so they deliberately said a very low price.
Director Wang of the management center was a little confused. Why would these two foreigners buy sculptures in the park? As far as he knew, although the marble sculptures in Fanglin Court were carved by sculptors, their value was average. Some of them were one or two thousand yuan, and the most expensive one was no more than five thousand yuan.
These two foreigners actually offered 20,000 yuan. How could they bring it back to China after buying it? Didn't they find it troublesome?
"We are very interested in Chinese culture and want to buy a sculpture as a souvenir," Anna said in non-standard Mandarin.
"I advise you to buy something else that is easy to bring back," Director Wang advised kindly.
"We like that sculpture very much. We don't want anything else," Anna said.
"Which sculpture do you want to buy?" Director Wang saw that he couldn't persuade them, so he couldn't help but ask.
He thought that since they wanted it so much and offered such a high price, there was no harm in selling it to them. The money could be used to buy a few more.
"We want to buy this." Allen took out his phone and showed the sculpture in front of the pool rockery.
"Huh?" Director Wang glanced at it and was suddenly stunned. Why hadn't he seen this sculpture before?
Moreover, it looked so beautiful. No wonder these two foreigners wanted to buy it back.
"By the way, this should be a new sculpture that was added two days ago when Mr. Su was remodeling." Director Wang of course knew Sue.
He was responsible for the remodeling of Fanglin Court because it was approved by the Urban Construction Bureau and Sue.
He basically didn't care when such a big shot took over.
After the remodeling was completed, he went to take a look and felt very satisfied. He thought that rich people were indeed different. Not only were they willing to spend money on remodeling for free, but they were also very artistic.
However, he only took a cursory look and didn't notice this sculpture.
"This sculpture was placed here by Mr. Su. You can't just sell it like that."
Director Wang thought to himself. He looked at Allen and Anna and asked them to wait for a while. Then, he called the director of the Urban Construction Bureau.
After the call got through, Director Wang went straight to the point. "Director Zhou, after Mr. Su renovated Fanglin Residence, there's an additional sculpture. Two foreigners want to buy it, and they even offered 20,000 yuan. What do you think we should do?"
"Mr Su didn't take a single cent. Strictly speaking, the sculptures he added to Fanglin Court still belong to him. We can't sell them."
The director of the Urban Construction Bureau showed his attitude and then asked curiously, "It's just a garden sculpture. Why are those two foreigners willing to spend 20,000 yuan to buy it?
Wouldn't they find it troublesome to bring them back?
By the way, how is Fanglin Court? I haven't seen it yet. "
"I'll send you a photo right away."
After Director Wang said that, he deftly used the computer to send the photo of Fanglin Court over. He also sent the photo of the sculpture in front of the rockery.
The director of the Urban Construction Bureau opened it and looked at it for a moment. Suddenly, his eyes lit up. He knew what Fanglin Court looked like before. He felt that it was much more beautiful now. Although he found that most of the scenery seemed to be the original scenery, after Sue's
After changing the layout of his hand, it seemed to have taken on a whole new look and improved by a level.
"Mr Su is really a master!"
The director of the Urban Construction Bureau sighed from the bottom of his heart. Even if it wasn't free, looking at this scale of change, it shouldn't cost much. He couldn't help but think that if the entire cultural park and even the entire reconstruction work of Zhongyun City were handed over to Sue.
How great would that be?
However, he also knew that this kind of thing could only be thought about. It was basically impossible.
Sue.
Maybe he just wanted to rest, or was a little interested in Fanglin Court, so he played around.
The reconstruction work of the entire Zhongyun City would be so troublesome and messy. How could he have the time?
Soon, he turned to the last photo, which was the photo of the sculpture.
The director of the Urban Construction Bureau was stunned. He couldn't help but stare at it. The more he looked, the more surprised he became. He somewhat understood why the two foreigners were willing to spend 20,000 yuan to buy it.
"Although I don't know much about art, I can see that this sculpture is not simple. Putting it here, it immediately raised the entire Fanglin Court to a level. Its value may be more than 20,000 yuan." The director of the Urban Construction Bureau thought about it, picked up his mobile phone, and called Sue.
He made a phone call to Sue.
After talking about this matter, whether to sell the sculpture or not, or to give it to Sue.
He could decide for himself. He only needed to tell Su.
This matter.
Sue.
When he answered the phone and heard that someone wanted to buy it, he was very calm, as if he had expected such a thing to happen.
He asked the identity of the buyer, and then asked Sue.
After investigating them and reading their information, he drove the Porsche and went to Fanglin Court.
"Director Wang, please make an exception and sell the sculpture to us. This can promote cultural exchange between the two countries. It's a good thing." Seeing that Director Wang hung up the phone, Anna tried to persuade him in non-standard Mandarin.
"That sculpture is Mr. Su's. Whether to sell it or not, we have to get his permission.
You wait here for a while. He's on his way. You can talk to him later. "Director Wang said lightly.
"Then we'll wait next to the sculpture in Fanglin Court." Allen was afraid that if he waited too long, the sculpture would be destroyed or taken away.
"Okay, I'll take him to see you when he comes." Director Wang nodded.
Walking out of the management center, Anna lowered her voice and said in Allen's ear, "Allen, I'm afraid it won't be so easy to buy it at a low price." Because it was obvious that they didn't intend to sell it easily. It seemed that they valued the sculpture.
"I'm afraid it won't be able to get it for tens of thousands of yuan, but since it's in the park, they will at most think of it as a good sculpture. They won't recognize that it's an extremely precious work of art. The price won't be too high.
I'll call the curator and ask him for financial support. "
Allen said. He called the curator of the museum in the United States and sent him a photo. After the curator saw the photo, he was so shocked that he couldn't wait to fly to China. Without Allen's request, the curator also wanted to invite the sculpture back. So without another word, he agreed to give Allen financial support.
