Ye Chen followed the empty path and walked step by step to the body of the World God Tree. Then, he sat down cross-legged.
In the True Spirit World, there was a rumor that one could attain the Great Dao under the Bodhi Tree.
Today, he planned to take complete control of the World God Tree under its control.
Buzz!
A unique vibration came from Ye Chen's body.
The tremors were very weak, but when the World God Tree sensed the tremors, it seemed to be affected. It began to tremble as well.
The vibration quickly spread to the entire Small World.
Fortunately, apart from Li Mengyao, there was no one else in the small world. Otherwise, just the tremors alone would have been enough to kill countless people.
Ye Chen sat cross-legged under the World Tree of God. He looked calm as if he did not feel the vibration around him.
The vibration was actually caused by Ye Chen activating the secret technique that he had cultivated to communicate with the Budur Ancient Tower's Weapon Spirit. With the help of the secret technique, Ye Chen could vaguely sense the Budur Ancient Tower's Weapon Spirit in the World Tree of God's Spiritual Intelligence.
Back then, the Budur Ancient Tower's Weapon Spirit had also developed Spiritual Intelligence. However, this Spiritual Intelligence was very weak.
When Ye Chen upgraded the Budur Ancient Tower to a World Treasure, he did not expect the World Tree of God to take over the Budur Ancient Tower and even swallow the Weapon Spirit in one go.
As a result, although the World Tree of God had completely controlled the Small World inside the Budur Ancient Tower, it had left behind a flaw.
That's right, a flaw.
The Budur Ancient Tower's Weapon Spirit had merged with the Spiritual Intelligence of the World Tree of God. This Spiritual Intelligence was like a drop of ink in a pool of clear water. It was incompatible with the rest of the Spiritual Intelligence of the World Tree of God.
Even if Ye Chen used a secret technique, he could still communicate with this part of the spirit.
Of course, this was also because the Spiritual Intelligence of the World Tree of God was still very young. It was like a newborn child. It only had instincts and did not have complete self-control.
Otherwise, the Weapon Spirit of the Budur Ancient Pagoda would have been assimilated by the World Divine Tree.
Ye Chen sat under the World God Tree. After sensing it for a bit, he immediately felt a sense of lingering fear.
Fortunately, he had accidentally sensed the true background of the World God Tree.
Otherwise, the intelligence of the World God Tree would have truly matured in half a year at most. At that time, even if Ye Chen became a powerhouse, he would not be able to do anything to the World God Tree.
"Soul resonance."
The vibrations lasted for the time it took to brew a cup of tea, before Ye Chen's eyes suddenly emitted a golden glow.
At the same time, streaks of golden light flashed on the gigantic World God Tree.
Ye Chen was quite experienced in controlling souls. After all, he had done the same thing when he had split his soul into two.
What Ye Chen needed to do now was to let his soul resonate with the Spiritual Intelligence of the World God Tree. After the two resonated, Ye Chen could take the opportunity to invade the Spiritual Intelligence of the World God Tree and control it.
Now that Ye Chen had successfully triggered the resonance of the Spiritual Intelligence of the World God Tree, what he needed to do next was to let his consciousness invade the Spiritual Intelligence of the World God Tree.
Ye Chen's eyes suddenly opened. His figure directly entered the World God Tree in front of him.
Rumble!
As if an ordinary person had suddenly been pricked by a needle, the moment Ye Chen entered the body of the World God Tree, the World God Tree immediately went berserk. Countless branches lashed out in all directions. Even the roots under the ground protruded from the ground. They were like earth dragons that rolled wildly.
Buzz!
After a while, tree roots emerged from the ground in another part of the small world. They quickly condensed and formed a tree root spirit that was almost identical to Ye Chen.
Then, on the other side of Ye Chen, another tall figure slowly condensed.
This figure had the appearance of a Tree Man. It was extremely tall. As soon as it appeared, it roared and pounced on Ye Chen.
The figure of Ye Chen that was condensed from the tree roots was also extremely huge. It was at least ten thousand feet tall. The two giants used the small world as their battlefield and started to fight wildly.
Among them, the tree root spirit that looked similar to Ye Chen was naturally formed by Ye Chen's consciousness. After his consciousness had entered the World God Tree, although part of the Weapon Spirit of the Budur Ancient Pagoda had resonated, it had also caused a strong backlash from the Spiritual Intelligence of the World God Tree.
As a result of this backlash, Ye Chen controlled a part of the World God Tree. The other part of the World God Tree was still firmly controlled by the Spiritual Intelligence of the World God Tree.
The World God Tree was now like a patient with schizophrenia. Under the influence of two Spiritual Intelligences, it could not completely control its own body.
"It can only control a part of the World God Tree. That's enough."
Ye Chen's original body that was condensed from countless tree roots fought against the doppelgänger that was condensed from the Spiritual Intelligence of the World God Tree. At the same time, he secretly controlled countless tree roots to invade the other side of the small world.
The World God Tree originally had complete control over this small world, but now, it could only control more than half of it. The remaining half was under Ye Chen's control, and it began to fight with the World God Tree.
Fortunately, the World God Tree was only fighting against Ye Chen instinctively. As Ye Chen dealt with the World God Tree's counterattack, he secretly invaded the World God Tree's Spiritual Intelligence. The World God Tree's newly born Spiritual Intelligence was very weak. It was impossible for it to resist Ye Chen's invasion.
The battle in this small world lasted for almost an entire day.
Suddenly, the two Tree Root Giants that had been fighting endlessly suddenly stopped.
The Tree Root Giant that Ye Chen had condensed could not help but look ecstatic.
The eyes of the giant treant in front of him seemed to be filled with a strange light.
"Success."
The huge root giant that Ye Chen's consciousness was in couldn't help but let out a hearty laugh.
Then, the two Tree Root Giants collapsed with a loud crash. They turned back into countless tree roots and vines that merged into the ground around them.
The entire small world seemed to have returned to its original calm at this moment.
Ye Chen's figure slowly appeared under the World God Tree again.
As soon as he appeared, Ye Chen opened his eyes somewhat impatiently and raised his head to look at the World God Tree behind him.
As if it had sensed Ye Chen's gaze, the World God Tree swayed gently as if it was acting coquettishly to Ye Chen.
"I never thought that the World God Tree's power would be so great. Even though it's only a part of its Spiritual Intelligence that has yet to mature, it's still so difficult for me to suppress it," Ye Chen could not help muttering to himself as he recalled the scene that had just occurred.
Earlier, when he had merged his consciousness with the World God Tree's Spiritual Intelligence, it had immediately caused a strong backlash from the World God Tree.
