In the trial space.
A piece of the ground suddenly burst open, and Ye Chen's figure rushed out from it.
At this moment, Ye Chen's face was filled with unconcealable surprise.
Counting the time before entering the trial space, Ye Chen had been in closed-door training for nearly two months.
After two months of comprehension, Ye Chen's comprehension of the essence of the ultimate spirit power had almost reached its peak.
This made Ye Chen's strength almost double compared to before.
The Heavenly Court had four criteria for judging the strength of a quasi-celestial being: ordinary quasi-celestial being, advanced quasi-celestial being, peak quasi-celestial being, and ultimate quasi-celestial being.
Ye Chen, who had comprehended the Soul Fire before, was probably at the level of a peak quasi-celestial being.
Now, his strength was infinitely close to that of an ultimate quasi-celestial being.
Yes, it was only infinitely close. Ye Chen had not really stepped into the level of an ultimate quasi-celestial being.
First, it was because he had accumulated too little.
Whether it was a quasi-celestial being or a celestial being, the accumulation of ultimate power in the body was indispensable.
Just like Gu Junlin, as a peerless genius of the Hidden Dragon World for hundreds of thousands of years, after becoming a quasi-celestial, it took Gu Junlin tens of thousands of years to accumulate enough to step into the realm of a celestial being.
Secondly, it was because Ye Chen had not created an advanced spell-level martial art that was exclusive to him.
The criterion for an ultimate quasi-celestial being was whether or not one could create an advanced spell-level martial art that was exclusive to him.
After all, it was impossible to exert one's own strength to the extreme by learning other people's martial arts.
Therefore, only by creating a spell-level martial art that was completely compatible with one's own strength could a martial artist exert their strength to the extreme.
It was just that it was too difficult to create an advanced spell-level martial art.
Not to mention a quasi-celestial being, even a real celestial being would find it very difficult to do this.
This was also the reason why there were very few ultimate quasi-celestials in the Celestial Continent.
Although Ye Chen's strength had increased greatly, he still hadn't reached the level of a peak quasi-celestial. A peak quasi-celestial was an existence that could contend with a true celestial.
However, Ye Chen had comprehended the essence of the ultimate spirit force, and it was only a matter of time before he was able to create his own martial arts and step into the level of a peak quasi-celestial.
"I've wasted so much time in seclusion. I wonder what's the situation in the outside world." Ye Chen muttered in his heart. Soon after, he flew up and headed towards the square not far away.
Before he arrived at the square, Ye Chen saw that there were dozens of figures in the square.
Thinking back, when Ye Chen and the others had just entered this place, there was no one here at all. All the warriors had gone out to earn points.
Who knew that there would be so many people gathered here today?
Ye Chen rushed over with interest, wanting to make friends with these cultivators.
However, when he saw the figures in front of him clearly, he immediately flew into a rage.
The reason for that was because at that moment, there were people fighting in the plaza.
On one side was Lin Guanqi, and on the other side was a half-step Celestial Being expert.
Lin Guanqi's strength was completely unable to contend with this half-step Celestial Being expert. He was almost played around by his opponent, and he was in a sorry state.
In addition, Baguio and the others were also here.
However, Baguio and the others were also in a sorry state. Their aura was vague and uncertain, and it was obvious that they had just fought.
The surrounding cultivators all had sneers on their faces as they looked at BiYao and the others with eyes full of ridicule.
Whoosh!
Ye Chen's figure rushed directly into the crowd and landed beside Baguio and the others.
"Baguio, what's going on?" Ye Chen's eyes were cold as he slowly scanned the surroundings.
Without waiting for Baguio to reply, Ye Chen had already made a grabbing motion in the air. A ball of flame appeared in his hand and flew toward the half-step Celestial Being expert who was fighting with Lin Guanqi.
This half-step Celestial Being expert originally had a relaxed expression. The sudden appearance of Ye Chen's flame immediately gave this half-step Celestial Being expert a fright.
Immediately, the destructive aura on this ball of flame made this half-step Celestial Being expert shudder with fear. He no longer cared about fighting with Lin Guanqi and frantically retreated.
Lin Guanqi also took this opportunity to break away from the battle and gasp for breath.
Puff!
In the surrounding crowd, a young-looking man in his twenties wearing a white robe suddenly stepped out. With a flick of his finger, he immediately extinguished Ye Chen's ball of flame.
The white-robed man glanced at Ye Chen and said casually, "Your Excellency has disregarded the rules and interfered in the battle here. This seems to be a bit too much."
Ye Chen ignored the white-robed man and looked at Baguio.
Suddenly seeing Ye Chen return, Baguio's face was filled with surprise and joy. She whispered, "Big Brother Ye, we entered the trial space too late. The people who came here before have already divided into several groups and divided the entire trial space into several areas. No matter which area we go to to obtain points, we will be besieged by them. If it weren't for the fact that we can't kill each other here, I'm afraid we would have been killed by them long ago."
"What?"
Ye Chen's face suddenly changed. He slowly scanned the surroundings and said in a serious tone, "Now you are only here and not out to obtain points. Why do they still want to fight with you?"
"Isn't it because they think we are easy to bully? These guys are completely playing with us like mice now." Lin Guanqi's face was filled with unwillingness.
Ye Chen was furious when he heard this. However, before he could speak, he suddenly felt a scorching force coming toward him.
Ye Chen dodged and only then did he realize that the person who attacked him was a man in a red robe.
This man's aura was powerful. He was actually a quasi-Heavenly Being.
"I am Lu Jia, and I have comprehended the ultimate flame power. Looking at your attack just now, you should have comprehended the ultimate flame power as well. In that case, let's exchange pointers and see who is stronger."
The man in the red robe looked up and down at Ye Chen frivolously, as if he didn't take Ye Chen seriously at all.
The young man who had blocked Ye Chen just now was expressionless at this moment. He took a few steps back and gave the space to Ye Chen and Lu Jia.
Ye Chen's gaze swept over Lu Jia a few times, but his gaze fell on the young man behind Lu Jia.
He could feel that this young man's strength was more than just a little stronger than Lu Jia's.
Lu Jia's strength was probably at the level of an ordinary quasi-Heavenly Being.
However, this young man's strength was definitely at the level of an advanced quasi-Heavenly Being, or even a peak quasi-Heavenly Being.
"Exchange pointers? Sorry, I don't have time to exchange pointers with others now."
Ye Chen's tone was cold as he continued, "However, I won't let off anyone who bullied my friends these days. Who among you has bullied my friends? Step forward yourselves."
Ye Chen's words made the surrounding people fall silent at first. Then, they burst into laughter.
