"Alright, we've escaped so far. The pursuers shouldn't be able to catch up."
Xue Yehua heaved a sigh of relief when the coastline of the Land of Exiles disappeared from sight.
"The sea is vast. It won't be easy for them to catch up. Even if they do, the princess is safe now." Ju Meng, a giant, revealed a rare smile.
"Why?" Fairsky asked curiously.
"The princess is very good at swimming. It might be hard to say if we were by the sea, but in the deep sea, they won't be able to catch the princess even if they catch up," Ju Meng explained.
System Notification: You have completed the quest "Save Princess Peradini!"
System Notification: Ju Meng and Princess Peradini's favorability towards you has increased by 50!
After Ju Meng finished speaking, the system notification rang. This meant that Chen Mo and Xue Yehua's quest had been completed.
"Princess, you're so good at swimming. Can you teach us?
In the vast sea, if we learn how to swim, we'll be able to save our lives. "
Chen Mo heard Ju Meng's words and took the opportunity to ask.
"Adventurers, you're my saviors. Of course, I can teach you such a small thing." Princess Peradini smiled gently.
System Notification: You've learned the skill "Swimming (Advanced)"!
Swimming (Advanced): Passive skill. After diving into the water, the player can not breathe for an hour.
Good lord, she taught him an Advanced Water Skill!
Even without learning the skill, players could swim on the surface of the water. However, they could only stay underwater for three minutes. After three minutes, the player's HP would start to decrease rapidly.
An Advanced Water Skill allowed them to stay underwater for an hour. Completing this quest was definitely worth it!
"Great Wizard Ju Meng, how long will it take for us to reach land?" After receiving benefits, Chen Mo was most concerned about when they could return to land.
"It's hard to say. However, based on my experience, we'll have to float on the sea for at least an entire day. Adventurers, you can rest as much as you want. Even if sea monsters appear on the way, don't worry with me around," Ju Meng said after looking around.
"That's a long time. I'll go offline and rest for a while. You guys can do whatever you want." Chen Mo and Xue Yehua said goodbye and prepared to go offline.
For this quest, he hadn't really slept for a few days. Other than eating and bathing, he was online almost all day.
"I'm fine for now. I'll just look at the scenery online. If there's really an accident, I won't be completely clueless."
Xue Yehua wasn't in a hurry to go offline. Drifting on the ocean was a novel experience for her. She definitely couldn't experience it in real life. Even in the game, there weren't many opportunities like this. Naturally, she didn't want to leave so quickly.
"I also want to accompany Sister Snow!" With Snowy Night Flower around, Fairsky naturally wouldn't go offline by herself.
"Alright then, I'm leaving." Chen Mo nodded, logged off, and left.
After going offline, Chen Mo was curious and wanted to go to the forums. However, he realized that he could not go to the official forums of the Land of the Exiles or the official forums. Obviously, the game forums were divided by the region of the game. The sea was in a state where there were no forums.
By the time he logged off, it was already past ten o 'clock at night. Chen Mo ate something and fell into a deep sleep. He slept all the way until seven o' clock in the morning the next day before he woke up for his morning run.
After returning from his morning run, Chen Mo saw that his phone had received a new message. It was from Fatty Tian, saying that the employer had confirmed the completion of the mission. The worm company had already transferred the reward to his account.
Another hundred thousand USD had been received. However, Chen Mo still couldn't understand why the employer wanted this mission.
The only ones who benefited from this mission were him and Xue Yehua. However, Xue Yehua had only received some benefits because she had met him. The mission didn't exist to help Xue Yehua.
Could it be to disrupt the two guilds' mission?
That was impossible. There were easier ways to disrupt the two guilds' mission. Chen Mo also didn't think that the two guilds' mission was worth a hundred thousand USD.
Forget it, let's not think about it anymore.
Chen Mo walked into the hibernation chamber and went online again.
The sky was still blue and the sea was vast. There weren't many changes compared to when he logged off yesterday. If it weren't for the coordinates, Chen Mo would have thought that the raft hadn't moved at all.
"You haven't logged off yet?" Chen Mo asked in surprise as Xue Yehua was still on the raft.
"How is that possible? I just logged on." Xue Yehua said unhappily.
At first, she was really curious. However, after drifting in the sea for an hour, the unchanging scenery made her feel bored. After chatting with Sunny Day for a while, she couldn't help but log off to rest.
"Great Wizard Ju Meng, how much longer until we reach land?" Chen Mo asked again.
"I'm not sure about the exact time. However, based on the current, we'll definitely reach land today!" Ju Meng replied confidently.
It seemed like they could reach land anytime. However, the problem was that today had only just begun. Waiting on the raft for ten hours wasn't something fun at all.
After thinking about it, Chen Mo said goodbye to Xue Yehua and logged off again.
He decided to be a good student today and go to class to earn some attendance time. At the same time, he wanted to see if there were any romantic encounters like before.
After not coming to school for ten days, Luo Hua looked like she wanted to beat him up whenever she saw him. Willow hid whenever she saw him, as if she was afraid that he would eat her up.
Chen Mo could only shake his head when he saw this. As expected, romantic encounters could only be encountered by chance. Last time, he was purely lucky.
In the afternoon, halfway through class, Chen Mo remembered the game and sneaked back to the warehouse.
After returning to the game, Chen Mo sighed and found that the raft was still drifting. However, this time, other than Xue Yehua, Sunny Day was also there.
The two women were chatting about something private. Chen Mo was bored and wanted to ask Ju Meng and Princess Peradini if he could receive any quests related to the Eudora Kingdom. However, Ju Meng and Princess Peradini tactfully said that he was still too weak and couldn't help them.
In other words, Chen Mo's level was too low and couldn't receive any quests.
Two hours later, a blurry coastline appeared in front of Chen Mo's eyes.
"Land, it's land!" Seeing the coastline, Chen Mo, who had always been calm, couldn't remain calm.
"Yes, it's land. In half an hour, we'll reach land." Ju Meng laughed.
"We're finally on land." Xue Yehua and Sunny Day were also excited.
After half an hour, when they were two to three hundred meters away from the coastline, Ju Meng stopped the raft.
"Adventurers, please forgive my rudeness.
The coastline in front is human territory. For the princess's safety, please swim over. "Ju Meng said apologetically to Chen Mo and the other two.
"No problem. Be careful." The three of them nodded and jumped into the sea with a splash. Then, they swam toward the coastline.
System Notification: You have successfully escaped from the Land of Exile. All Sin Points have been cleared!
When they were about ten meters away from the coastline, the three of them received the same system notification. Xue Yehua's name was originally black. When the system notification sounded, her name instantly became white.
Chen Mo was secretly shocked. Rasha had said that a successful prison break could clear one's Sin Points. However, he didn't expect that a successful prison break not only meant escaping from the Land of Exile, but also returning to the land outside the Land of Exile.
Chen Mo tried to remove the Heinous Crime title and discovered that the title could be removed.
Previously, when he died in the Hunting Grounds and returned to prison two days ago, he first removed the Heinous Crime title and then put it back on after reviving in prison. It had only been two days and there was still one more day before he could remove it.
"Where are we?" Chen Mo asked as the three walked to the coast. He looked around and knew that this wasn't a place that he was familiar with.
"Outside the East Sea City!"
Xue Yehua looked at the coordinates and said indifferently. Sunny Day's expression dimmed when she heard the words' East Sea City '. She recalled what happened ten days ago.
Chen Mo didn't expect that he would arrive at the East Sea City directly after breaking out of prison. However, this was good. He didn't dare to return to the City of Shadows for the time being. Who knows if Belvicente was waiting for him?
That old man wouldn't be courteous to him. He would most likely kill him every time he saw him.
Chen Mo didn't know if Ceci Hailow would be in trouble if he met Belvicente in the real world. However, he definitely didn't dare to take the risk. Ceci Hailow's powerful abilities were on full display in the Land of Exile. Moreover, as long as he could obtain enough crystals for her, Ceci Hailow would become even more powerful. No matter what, he couldn't allow Belvicente to snatch Ceci Hailow away.
Chen Mo didn't have the ability to deal with Belvicente. It would be best if he didn't return to the City of Shadows for the time being.
However, even if he didn't return to the City of Shadows, Chen Mo still had many options.
During the ten days he was in the Land of Exile, the players' levels soared as they could be online all day long. Although Chen Mo was only at level 15, the highest-leveled player in the game was already at level 25. Most of the first-rate players were at level 24.
Players above level 20 were no longer limited to the three main cities. They had truly begun to explore the map of the game.
A large number of players had begun to move around the small towns in front of the three main cities. Many of them had received all kinds of strange quests.
Of course, as the game became more popular, new players continued to join. The three main cities were still the most lively places in the game.
"This is your home ground. Let's find a place to level up first."
Chen Mo wasn't interested in the East Sea City. His level was too far away from the high-level players. Leveling up was more important.
"Alright."
Xue Yenhua nodded. Returning to the East Sea City had caused her emotions to fluctuate. However, she didn't let that affect her emotions.
"There are many places to level up, but it's not the same as it was ten days ago." Xue Yenhua took the lead and walked in front.
Chen Mo knew that Xue Yenhua was right. Although he had only been in the Land of Exile for less than ten days, ten days in the early stages of the game had changed a lot.
Ten days ago, the spawn point of level 20 monsters under their feet would have been an unexplored area. But now, there were players leveling up everywhere.
"There are so many people. We can only make do here."
After walking for a while, the three of them saw that there were players leveling up everywhere. They could only find a spawn point that happened to have a party leaving.
Chen Mo wanted to find a place with a ridiculous number of monsters and let Ceci Hailow come out to kill them. However, unless he killed all the players around him, he wouldn't be able to find such a place.
…
The first place was even worse.
