After clearing the surrounding monsters, Chen Mo took out his pickaxe and started digging with the little Warrior.
After digging for a while, a system notification rang. Chen Mo finally dug out a piece of ore.
However, looking at the ore, Chen Mo's face darkened.
What he dug out was actually the lowest value iron ore!
Even though it was the same place, the lowest value the little Warrior dug out was Black Iron Ore, but he dug out an Iron Ore. As expected, the benefits of having a high level mining skill were very obvious.
However, no matter how small a mosquito was, it was still meat. In the end, it all depended on the total value of the ore, so he just dug slowly.
While digging, Chen Mo went to kill the monsters when they respawned, protecting the little Warrior.
After half an hour, the little Warrior had dug out quite a lot of ores. He was already far ahead on the leaderboard. All the ores were worth 278 La, while the second place only had 90 La.
"Let's change places. The ores here are enough."
The little Warrior stood up and wiped his sweat.
Chen Mo naturally had no objections. The two of them then wandered around the Nine-Headed Mining Area.
Soon, the two found another place. Chen Mo used the old method to kill the monsters, and the little Warrior began to dig again.
Just like that, two hours quickly passed.
The value of the ores that Chen Mo and the little Warrior dug out were about to exceed 1000 La!
"Damn!
They're going to break the record so soon! "
"Isn't this too fast?
Last week, the little Warrior was also first. Why is there such a big difference? "
The players who stared at the leaderboard were all shocked.
The highest record for this quest was 978 La. It was last week when Polar Light teamed up with the little Warrior to set the record.
This week, the little Warrior was still in the team, but the difference in results was several times. These players could not understand why.
Only the little Warrior knew the reason.
Last week, she used a mining hoe that she had bought from an NPC in the valley. This week, she used a Dark Gold mining hoe that she had obtained after completing a series of quests in the three main cities of the human race.
Even Chen Mo did not expect that the dark red pickaxe in the little Warrior's hand was a Dark Gold pickaxe!
Using this Dark Gold Mining Hoe, the ores it dug out were at least Black Iron rank!
The little warrior did not dig out any lower grade ores, not because her mining skill was high, but because of the special effect of the Dark Gold Pickaxe in her hand.
However, this pickaxe had a limit to its durability. Once it ran out, he would have to find the miners from the three main cities to repair it. Moreover, the cost of each repair was very high.
Last week, Aurora had tricked the little Warrior into coming over. The little Warrior was not happy about it, so naturally, he dealt with it casually and used an ordinary hoe to mine.
And this week, when Chen Mo appeared, of course the little warrior would do his best to take out the Dark Gold Pickaxe in his hand.
With the special effect of the Dark Gold Hoe, every piece of ore dug out by the little Warrior was at least of the Dark Iron rank.
It was only natural that the value of the mined ore would be several times higher than last week's.
"Roar!"
Just as the little warrior's Dark Gold Pickaxe showed its prowess once again, digging out another piece of gold, the value of the two men's ores exceeded a thousand carats. That was when an angry roar came from behind them.
A cyclops ore giant suddenly spawned behind the two men. After it spawned, it let out an angry roar and charged towards the two men.
"A monster I've never seen before!" the little Warrior hastily shouted, warning Chen Mo to be careful.
Chen Mo could tell at a glance that this cyclops ore giant was not ordinary.
This one-eyed ore giant was different from the one Han Shuo saw on the second floor of the mining area outside the City of Shadows. This one was even bigger. It was more than three meters tall and had only one big eye on its forehead. Its arms were very long and extended all the way to the ground. Its body was covered in ores of various colors. What was even more eye-catching was that on its back, there was a steel basket that seemed to be filled with ores.
Whoosh!
A large piece of ore appeared in the cyclops ore giant's hand. With a wave of its long arms, the ore was hurled at Chen Mo and the little Warrior.
"You dodge it first!"
Chen Mo knew that this cyclops ore giant was a special monster spawned by the system after the value of the two men's ores exceeded a thousand carats. It should drop quite a lot of good stuff after killing it.
The little Warrior knew that the battle had nothing to do with her. She immediately shifted her position and ran to a safer place to mine, leaving Chen Mo to deal with the cyclops ore giant alone.
"This thing actually has five hundred thousand HP, long-range attacks, and super high defense. It's not easy to deal with!"
After a brief encounter with the cyclops ore giant, Chen Mo discovered that the cyclops ore giant was very difficult to deal with.
The cyclops ore giant was practically invulnerable. Even with his and Ceci Hailow's combined attack power, they only managed to deal a little more than a hundred damage.
This was obviously not normal. No matter what, the cyclops ore giant's defense was insane. If it were any other player, they would not be able to break through its defense at all.
"Its weak point should be its eye!"
Chen Mo looked at the cyclops ore giant's single eye.
It was impossible for a monster like this to have no weaknesses. That eye should be its weakness.
Chen Mo immediately went forward to try, but when he took the risk of being hit by the Cyclops Ore Giant's ores and tried to attack with his crossbow, he suddenly saw that the Cyclops Ore Giant closed its eyes and blocked the attack with its eyelids.
Attacking the cyclops ore giant's eyelid and other parts of the cyclops ore giant would cause the same damage.
"This thing can automatically defend against attacks that attack its weak point?" This was the first time Chen Mo had seen a monster like this. He could not help but be surprised.
Chen Mo tried to attack the cyclops ore giant's eye several times, but all of his attacks were blocked by the cyclops ore giant's eyelid.
"I don't believe that this thing has no weaknesses at all!"
Chen Mo continued to observe for a while. He knew that the cyclops ore giant's weakness was probably its single eye. However, if he attacked the cyclops ore giant, it would defend itself. Although this thing had a weakness, it was invulnerable!
"Hmm?"
However, Chen Mo's observation skills were not to be trifled with. After he risked his life to fight with the cyclops ore giant for a while, he finally noticed a detail that was very difficult to discover!
The cyclops ore giant's eye was oval. In the oval eye socket, there was a large black eyeball. This black eyeball had a certain position in the eye socket where it could move!
At the corner of the eye, there were two very small spots that were almost impossible to detect. Its eyeball would not move to those spots!
If one attacked from those spots, it could be the cyclops ore giant's blind spot!
As long as it could not see it, it would naturally not defend!
However, to attack that spot, one's positioning, accuracy, and timing of the attack were extremely important. The slightest mistake would cause the attack to fail!
Moreover, it was impossible for one person to launch this attack. If there was only one person, the cyclops ore giant's vision would always be focused on the player. The player would not be able to walk to its blind spot at all.
Fortunately, Chen Mo still had Ceci Hailow. Ceci Hailow was an all-purpose pet. At this time, she played an irreplaceable role as usual.
Under Chen Mo's command, Ceci Hailow moved and charged towards the cyclops ore giant. With a Swift Shadow Dash, she attacked the cyclops ore giant.
Boom!
The cyclops ore giant's long arms slammed onto the ground. The ground around it rippled like a wave for a radius of seven to eight meters.
Ceci Hailow seemed to have been prepared. When the cyclops ore giant attacked, she jumped up and dodged in time.
"Ceci Hailow's combat skills have improved again!" Chen Mo was surprised and happy at the same time.
As expected, the cyclops ore giant still had many skills that it had not used. Fortunately, Ceci Hailow had been fighting with him for such a long time. Finally, her combat skills had improved significantly.
Chen Mo didn't stay idle. While the One-eyed Ore Giant was attacking Ceci Harro, he seized the opportunity and moved quickly. He suddenly attacked from the corner of the One-eyed Ore Giant's eye. A crossbow arrow was shot at the corner of the One-eyed Ore Giant's eye!
Tch!
The cyclops ore giant did not react in time. Its eyelids were not closed. Chen Mo's crossbow arrow accurately hit the corner of its eye!
- 30000!
Then, a shockingly high damage value appeared above the cyclops ore giant's head!
"30,000 damage!"
Chen Mo was excited. He had fought with Ceci Hailow for so long, but this arrow had dealt more damage than he did!
"Roar!"
After being shot in the eye, the cyclops ore giant let out an angry roar. Its movements and speed became faster and more violent!
In this situation, it was even more difficult to hit the cyclops ore giant's weak point.
However, Chen Mo allowed the One-eyed Ore Giant to become even more difficult to deal with. After successfully dealing fatal damage to it, the rest of the battle became much easier.
Ceci Hailow pulled the aggro while Chen Mo took the opportunity to attack. No matter how the cyclops ore giant moved, it could not escape from Chen Mo's pursuit.
In less than three minutes, the cyclops ore giant with 500,000 HP fell to the ground and dropped a large pile of ores.
"Wow, so many ores!" Seeing so many ores, the little warrior could not help but be excited.
The two of them quickly picked up the ores on the ground. In a short while, they had finished picking up all the ores.
There were a total of 20 ores. 10 silver ores, 5 gold ores, 4 black gold ores, and 1 jade ore!
This was the first time Chen Mo and the little warrior had seen a jade ore. This jade ore was worth 200 Lai!
The cyclops ore giant dropped 380 Lai worth of ores to the two of them!
However, Chen Mo knew that this was not all that the cyclops ore giant had given them!
After killing the cyclops ore giant, his plunder skill took effect again. He obtained a jade ore and a magic scroll!
This magic scroll was not a normal magic scroll. It was a magic scroll that could summon a cyclops ore giant. After players used it, they could summon a cyclops ore giant that was three levels higher than the player to help them in battle!
"Haha, not bad!
Not bad! "Chen Mo could not help but laugh. Damn, this was really a surprise!
The players in the Nine-Headed Mining Area were in an uproar.
Chen Mo and the little warrior's ores were worth more than 1,000 Lai. In a short while, they had increased their ores by 580 Lai. The total value of the ores had reached a terrifying 1,600 Lai!
