Although he was pulled in for no reason, Chen Mo could roughly guess from these few short sentences that these black-named players were probably tricked by the player called Out of Print Expert. That was why they became black-named players. Now that they were gathered together, they wanted to seek revenge on Out of Print Expert.
However, what made Chen Mo curious was that these people did not seem to know each other. How did Out of Print Expert make them black-named players?
After they finished introducing themselves, they looked at Chen Mo. Chen Mo quickly said, "My name is Silence. I'm a Trap Hunter."
Then, Chen Mo immediately added Sharp Knife as a friend and privately messaged him, "Cough, Brother Knife, actually, I'm here because a friend of mine asked me to help him seek revenge on Out of Print Expert. He went to the Land of Exile because he was black-named and couldn't come over. I'm actually not too sure about this matter."
Sharp Knife seemed to be easier to talk to, so Chen Mo immediately asked him.
He did not know the ins and outs of this matter at all. Naturally, he could not just follow these black-named players to seek revenge on Out of Print Expert. If not for his curiosity about how Out of Print Expert tricked this group of people into black-named players, Chen Mo would have already left. He did not have the intention to meddle in other people's business.
No matter how bad Out of Print Expert was, as long as he did not provoke him, he could not be bothered.
"You weren't tricked into black-named by Out of Print Expert?"
Sharp Knife was shocked. Then, his eyes lit up and he said excitedly, "That's amazing. So you killed so many people to become black-named?
How many people did you kill? How much is your sin value now? "
Sharp Knife asked repeatedly. Chen Mo could only answer, "I don't remember how many people I killed. My sin value is around 200."
He did not dare to say that his sin value was over 500. If he said that, it would probably scare people to death.
"More than 200 sin value!
Awesome!
With you here, Out of Print Expert is dead for sure this time! "
Sharp Knife praised. Then, in order to convince Chen Mo to stay and help them take revenge, he quickly explained the situation to Chen Mo.
Just as Chen Mo had guessed, everyone in this team had been deceived by the Out of Print Expert into having a black name.
Strictly speaking, it was not Out of Print Expert who had tricked them. They had been tricked by an NPC in the wild.
The wild NPC said that there was a mission for black players. As long as they had a black name, they would be able to enter a special dungeon.
Sharp Knife and the others did not expect that the NPC would lie to them. Naturally, they fell for it. After they blacklisted their names, they went to look for the NPC, but they found that the NPC was no longer there.
They felt that something was wrong, and then they realized that they were being targeted by Out of Print Expert and the others. Most of the players who had been tricked by the NPC were killed by Out of Print Expert and the others.
In the end, only a few of the black-named players were left alive.
Then, it was only yesterday that they found out that the NPC was known by Out of Print Expert. They were very close to Out of Print Expert. It was Out of Print Expert who had asked the NPC to trick the players.
Out of Print Expert had done this because his team had previously completed an S-rank mission. That mission had rewarded them with a special magic scroll. After using that magic scroll, Out of Print Expert's team would be able to obtain a large amount of experience points by killing black-named players for ten days.
Those black-named players who had been killed were mostly killed by Out of Print Expert. Out of Print Expert's level had risen from level 30 to level 33 in just a few days.
After players reached level 30, leveling up became even more difficult. The highest level in the game was only level 35, and that was the kind of player who leveled up crazily. It was almost impossible for Out of Print Expert to level up one level in just a few days.
Knowing that they had been tricked by Out of Print Expert, Sharp Knife and the others were, of course, furious. However, they wanted to take revenge on Out of Print Expert mainly because the magic scroll that Out of Print Expert had used had a negative effect.
After using that magic scroll, Out of Print Expert and the others would be able to obtain a large amount of experience points by killing black-named players. However, if they were killed by black-named players, their levels would drop rapidly, and the black-named players would obtain an extremely large amount of experience points.
Therefore, Sharp Knife and the others wanted to work together today to kill Out of Print Expert and the others. This way, not only would they be able to take revenge, but they would also be able to obtain considerable benefits.
They had received news that Out of Print Expert's guild would be fighting with another guild for a border mini-boss today. They wanted to use this opportunity to kill Out of Print Expert and the others.
Chen Mo finally understood the reason. Moreover, Sharp Knife's words also made Chen Mo's heart move.
If he killed Out of Print Expert and the others, his level would immediately rise.
However, from Sharp Knife's words, he had a very big problem.
"How do you know all this?
Logically speaking, if Out of Print Expert and the others didn't reveal these secrets, then no one would know that they were the ones who did it, right? "Chen Mo asked curiously.
"Hmph!
That Out of Print Expert isn't a real expert. He was just lucky enough to complete an S-rank mission!
He is a person who can't keep secrets. His level rose by so much in such a short period of time, and he could even get an NPC to deceive players. Of course, he couldn't hold it in and told some of his friends about it. Some of these friends couldn't hold it in and naturally, the news spread. Cut in Two's friend found out, and Cut in Two's friend told Cut in Two. Then, Cut in Two's friend posted on the forum, contacting the black-named player who was deceived, and prepared to find Out of Print Expert for revenge. "Sharp Knife explained after a cold snort.
Hearing this, Chen Mo secretly glanced at Cut in Two.
Cut in Two was a very ordinary young Assassin. When he entered the game, he didn't intentionally adjust his character to look good. Whether it was in the game or in real life, once he was placed in a crowd, he would become inconspicuous.
However, this kind of character was undoubtedly very suitable for the Assassin class.
"In another half an hour, Out of Print Guild and its competitors will be fighting for the Giant Sand Scorpion, this mini-boss. At that time, we will lie in ambush at the side. If there is a chance, we will attack. If the chance isn't high, then don't take the risk.
Revenge is good, but if you don't succeed and get killed instead, then that would be a tragedy. "
While Chen Mo was privately chatting with Sharp Knife, the middle-aged Fire Mage Licentious Teacup expressed his opinion.
The few of them agreed with this idea. They had come here to try their luck.
They were already black-named players, so it was unrealistic to ambush Out of Print Expert and the others at the city gate. Waiting for Out of Print Expert to attack them while they were fighting the boss would be the best opportunity.
The group had all been tricked by Out of Print Expert, and they all wanted to kill him. Following this, the few of them discussed some of the details. They had to ensure their own safety while killing Out of Print Expert and the others.
"Alright!
The Giant Sand Scorpion is about to respawn. Let's go over now. Out of Print Guild and Sky Wolf Guild will start fighting soon. "Cut in Two looked at the time and said with a hoarse voice.
"Let's go!"
The group of six black-named players immediately walked towards the southwest direction. The Giant Sand Scorpion, this mini-boss, would respawn there.
Five minutes later, the six of them arrived at a sand basin with a radius of over a hundred meters. The basin was surrounded by intertwined giant tree roots, and the Giant Sand Scorpion respawned at the center of the basin.
"Eh?
The people from Sky Wolf Guild are here. Where are the people from Out of Print Guild? "
"There are a few here, less than ten."
"Out of Print Expert isn't here either. What's going on? Are they delayed by something?"
The Giant Sand Scorpion had already respawned at the center of the basin. There was a large group of people around the basin, and one of them was Out of Print Guild's competitor, Sky Wolf Guild. There were also people from Out of Print Guild, but their numbers were pitifully small. There were only ten of them, which was less than a third of Sky Wolf Guild's total.
Most importantly, Out of Print Expert and the others were not here.
Out of Print Expert and the others who had used the scroll with them were not here. The six of them were completely useless here. Without them, they could not kill them even if they wanted to.
"Looks like even the heavens want to help him. They can't come because they have something to do. There are too few people from Out of Print Guild down there, so they can't fight. Even if Out of Print Expert and the others are there, they can't fight.
Forget it, let's retreat. "Sharp Knife sighed.
They had come all the way here, only to be met with such an outcome. They were really unwilling to accept it.
"That's all we can do." Shadow Hand shook his head.
"Sigh, if I had known, I wouldn't have come. We wasted so much time. With this time, we could have washed away a lot of our Sin Points." Blossoming Night was a little dissatisfied with the absence of Out of Print Expert and the others.
Whoosh!
Suddenly, an Archer flashed out from behind a tree root. An AoE Rain of Arrows rained down on the six of them, forcing them into battle mode and unable to go offline.
"Out of Print Expert!"
Behind the Archer, a few more people walked out. Among them was a young Warrior with a smile on his face. Sharp Knife's expression immediately changed.
"Hahaha, I didn't go looking for you, but you actually came looking for me. You're really asking for death!
After killing you all, our levels will rise to Level 34! "Out of Print Expert guffawed.
"You knew we were coming, so you ambushed us here?" Shadow Hand's face darkened as he shouted.
"That's right!
You think your movements are very secretive, but in reality, I know your movements like the back of my hand!
I, Out of Print Expert, am not a small fry like you, but a person who has completed an S rank mission!
The tools and methods that I have are not something that you poor bastards can compare to! "Out of Print Expert laughed coldly.
Sharp Knife and the others' expressions changed when they heard this.
S rank mission, they had never even seen one before, but Out of Print Expert and the others had completed it. God knows how much benefits an S rank mission could bring to Out of Print Expert.
"Kill!
Fight it out with him!
Kill him, even if we die, we won't lose anything! "
Shadow Hand looked at the figures of Out of Print Guild members appearing one after another. He knew that it would be difficult for them to escape, so he wanted to die together with Out of Print Expert.
But at this moment, a figure suddenly moved behind him. A Gouge skill pierced his body!
Shadow Hand's body was instantly immobilized, but his expression instantly became incomparably furious.
