He had seen three pieces of Dark Gold equipment, but he had only heard of Substandard God equipment a few minutes ago!
He did not expect to see a Substandard God equipment in front of him in just a few minutes!
Chen Mo did not know the attributes of the Blood Paladin's Substandard God equipment, but he knew how powerful the Blood Paladin was with just one Substandard God equipment.
The Substandard God equipment ring in front of him was different from the Blood Paladin's Substandard God equipment. However, Chen Mo knew that the Sealed Cage Ring was worthy of being a Substandard God equipment with just one look!
This was a Growth-type equipment that could be equipped without any restrictions. In other words, unless one day, he found a Divine Artifact Ring that was even more awesome than this ring, he would never have to change this Sealed Cage Ring!
"It's too powerful!"
Chen Mo was excited. He looked at the Sealed Cage Ring's attributes again, and he liked it more and more.
Not only could the attributes of the ring grow, but the more powerful the monsters and NPCs he sealed, the more powerful the attributes of the ring would be. More importantly, the ability of the ring could be upgraded continuously. He would never have to worry about not being able to keep up with his level!
When he felt that the ability was outdated and could not be used anymore, he could change it to another ability or skill!
This ring was indeed a product of the City of Sin. Not to mention the attributes and abilities of the ring, the ability to seal monsters and NPCs was amazing.
"I'll change to the Sealed Cage Ring!"
After confirming the various attributes of the ring, Chen Mo did not hesitate to exchange for the Sealed Cage Ring.
He casually glanced at the equipment and items at the bottom of the exchange list. There was only one Deity Artifact, and the rest were Dark Gold and Purple equipment. Dark Gold equipment could be exchanged for 40 Achievement Stars, and Purple equipment could be exchanged for 100 Achievement Stars. With the Achievement Stars he had, he could have exchanged for about four Dark Gold equipment.
However, four pieces of Dark Gold equipment would be obsolete after Level 15 at most. As for the Sealed Cage Ring, it could be said that it would never be obsolete. It would only become stronger and stronger. Chen Mo didn't even need to think about what to choose.
System Notification: You will need 158 Achievement Stars to exchange for the Sealed Cage Ring. Are you sure?
Yes!
System Notification: You have obtained the Sealed Cage Ring!
An ancient, greyish-white ring suddenly appeared in Chen Mo's bag. Chen Mo looked at his bag and carefully examined it. He discovered that this unassuming, ancient ring was indeed the Sealed Cage Ring.
"Hahaha!
Chen Mo's heart immediately burst with joy.
The Sealed Cage Ring's stats were still very low, but Chen Mo couldn't help but equip it.
Once he returned to the main human city, he would spend time catching monsters to increase the ring's attributes!
System Notification: You will be teleported back to Nefas City!
In his joy, Chen Mo's vision suddenly changed. He had returned to the teleportation array in the City of Sin.
Not only Chen Mo, but all of the black-named players were teleported back.
Chen Mo immediately saw the Blood Paladin. The Blood Paladin stood on the teleportation array with a gloomy face. The surrounding black-named players looked at the Blood Paladin as if they were looking at a monster. No one dared to provoke him.
After seeing how powerful he was, these originally lawless black-named players knew that they couldn't afford to provoke him.
Endless Arcane and Wild Panther Girl were also nearby. The two of them looked at Chen Mo, who had been teleported back, but didn't say anything. Being able to let go of things as they pleased was indeed the demeanor of an expert.
A group of NPCs appeared. The various black-named players were led away by their respective NPCs.
Dounis appeared early and led Chen Mo back.
Although he tried his best to keep his face calm, he couldn't hide the excitement in his heart.
Originally, he only wanted Chen Mo to get into the top five, and he would be satisfied. However, he didn't expect that Chen Mo would get first place in one go!
This ranking instantly alleviated his situation greatly. For a short period of time, he didn't have to worry about anything.
However, he didn't feel any gratitude towards Chen Mo.
If it wasn't for Chen Mo, he wouldn't even care about his ranking in this competition.
"When can we return to the Exiled Land?"
Chen Mo asked as he followed behind Dounis.
"After you receive your reward tonight, I'll get someone to send you back first." Dounis waved his hand and said.
Right, there's a reward for first place in the competition!
Hearing this, Chen Mo couldn't help but look forward to it.
After all, he was first place among so many abnormal black-named players. The reward shouldn't be too bad.
However, even though he got first place, Chen Mo found that he was still brought back to a prison cell by Dounis.
It was as if in the eyes of these NPCs, even the first place black-named player was just a prisoner.
There were still a few hours until the night that Dounis mentioned. Chen Mo simply logged off and returned to the real world to rest.
Chen Mo only came back online at ten at night.
Not long after he came back online, a figure came to his prison cell.
Moreover, this person was none other than the beautiful NPC You Ji.
Unlike when she was in the Exiled Land, You Ji was now wearing a full set of black armor. She looked majestic.
After not seeing You Ji for two days, Chen Mo unceremoniously reached out to touch her. However, You Ji reached out and slapped his naughty hand away.
"Don't mess around. All the prisons in the City of Sin are being watched!" You Ji said expressionlessly.
Chen Mo didn't dare to mess around. If he was discovered by an NPC, he wouldn't know how he would die.
"What are you doing here?" Chen Mo asked You Ji.
"I'm here to bring you your reward this time. I'll send you back to the Exiled Land." You Ji replied and took out two items.
Chen Mo immediately took them. He had been waiting for a long time.
System Notification: You have received "Prison's Star"!
System Notification: You have received "Book of the Executioner"!
Prison's Star
Description: A special equipment specially made by the City of Sin for prisoners with special performances. It is very rare and only a few people can obtain it.
Attribute: After a player's name is blacklisted, their sin points will be reduced by 10 points per day. When their sin points reach 0, they can freely use the teleportation circle to return to the city.
This equipment cannot be traded or dropped.
Book of the Executioner
Description: A special equipment, an ancient black-colored book. It has a special mysterious power. After equipping it, it will have special effects on red and black name players. It is said that this book is part of an incomplete ancient book.
Attribute: After killing red and black name players, the equipment owner will receive half of the experience points that they drop. However, it can only be used on targets whose level is not lower than the player's by three levels.
Additional Skill: Tracking
— Tracking: Can enter the name of a red and black name player and check their approximate coordinates. Can only be used on players in the current map. Skill cooldown: one hour.
Damn!
This reward was a little lame!
However, forget it. Since he already had the Sealed Cage Ring, he couldn't expect to be rewarded with a Sub-Divine Weapon. That would be too much.
Thinking about it carefully, these two special equipment were not bad.
The Prison's Star might not be useful to other players, but to him, it was quite useful.
With the Prison's Star, he didn't have to worry about being troubled by Dunis when he went to the Land of Exile. He just had to wait there for a few days, and he could leave whenever he wanted.
As for the Book of the Executioner, it was quite interesting. If he encountered any black or red name players in the future, he could kill them and gain a large amount of experience points.
After a red or black name player died, the experience points that they dropped was not an ordinary amount. Killing two or three black name players would allow him to level up by one more level.
The only problem was that he had to find the black name players. However, the Book of the Executioner had a tracking skill. As long as he had the black name player's name, killing them would not be a problem!
"Oh right, there are also some gold coins as a reward." You Ji took out a small bag and handed it to Chen Mo.
System Notification: You have received 100 gold coins!
100 gold coins as a reward!
Not bad.
Chen Mo finally felt that the reward was not bad.
He was currently penniless, and these 100 gold coins were just enough to alleviate his predicament.
"Let's go. I'll send you back to the Land of Exile. Dunis will only be back tomorrow." As You Ji spoke, she led Chen Mo out of the prison cell.
Chen Mo followed behind. They passed through many corridors and arrived at a teleportation circle.
There were many black name players like the two of them, and they all walked into the teleportation circle one by one.
Chen Mo saw the Blood Paladin and the others again. Everyone looked at each other and disappeared into the teleportation circle. He didn't know if he would have the chance to meet again.
With a flash of light, Chen Mo and You Ji were back in the Land of Exile.
The matter in the City of Sin was finally over. However, although he had only been to the City of Sin once, Chen Mo still didn't know much about it. He didn't understand the structure of the city at all. If he wanted to find out more, he would have to wait for the opportunity in the future.
After sending Chen Mo back to the Land of Exile, You Ji quickly disappeared without a trace. Chen Mo wanted to keep her, but after thinking about it, he decided against it.
There was still plenty of time in the future. He didn't believe that You Ji could run away, especially now that he had obtained a very powerful Substandard God Equipment.
The next step was to leave the Land of Exile and return to the Eastsea Metropolis.
An hour later, Sharp Knife and the others came online. Chen Mo found the four of them and told them about his plan to break out of prison.
"Break out of prison together?"
Sharp Knife and the others were in disbelief.
They knew that they could break out of prison, but they didn't have any thoughts about it. To them, it was simply impossible.
"Yes, it might be a little risky. However, as long as the NPC doesn't lie to me, breaking out of prison isn't a problem. You guys can decide for yourselves." Chen Mo nodded. He didn't make any promises.
If Dunis were to play any tricks, he and Sharp Knife would be in for a tragedy.
"I want to try!
Based on the current speed, it would take at least half a month to erase all the Sin Points! "
However, Sharp Knife and the others didn't think too much about it and made their decision.
