In the previous room, more than 100 players had died trying to kill the Black Skeleton.
After that, 67 players had died by Chen Mo's hands. Now, there were still more than 200 players in the second room.
It was not impossible for 200 players to deal with a large Mummy. However, the problem was that the Mummy Boss was not the only one in the room. There were also many small Mummy monsters. If the players dared to move recklessly, a large number of Mummy monsters would appear.
That way, it would not be the players ganging up on the Mummy Boss, but the Mummies ganging up on the players.
These Mummies were so powerful that even a party of players could barely kill them. If a large number of Mummies appeared at the same time, in addition to the Mummy Boss, the situation would be unimaginable.
However, it was too late to say anything now. The Mummy Boss had already appeared. Even if they wanted to retreat, it was too late.
"Let's go!"
Chen Mo shouted. The small Warrior followed behind and the two of them charged towards the Mummy Boss.
Ceci Hailow's body flashed. Under Chen Mo's command, she charged towards the Mummy Boss.
Chen Mo did not have the intention to kill the Mummy Boss. Unless there were no Mummies around, it was impossible to kill the Mummy Boss.
From the way the Mummy Boss was formed, Chen Mo suspected that the Mummy Boss could recover its health by absorbing the small Mummies.
No matter how powerful he was, he could not do anything to the Mummy Boss. In order to kill the Mummy Boss, he had to first kill all the Mummies around it. Otherwise, the Mummy Boss would never die.
Chen Mo asked Ceci Hailow to restrain the Mummy Boss. He wanted to take the opportunity to obtain the item in the treasure chest.
Ceci Hailow's current strength was extraordinary. She successfully pulled the aggro of the Mummy Boss. At the same time, Chen Mo also successfully rushed to the treasure chest.
5 seconds to open the treasure chest!
A progress bar appeared in front of him. As long as he was not attacked for 5 seconds, he would be able to open the treasure chest and obtain the item in it.
However, Chen Mo was infuriated when he realized that among the people he brought over out of the kindness of his heart, there were actually people who did not want to see him take away the items in the treasure chest and shot an arrow at him.
The distance between them wasn't far, so it wouldn't take more than two seconds for the arrow to reach Chen Mo. Chen Mo's progress bar would be interrupted.
However, the little warrior had done a meritorious service.
With a wave of her Bloodthirsty Demon Sword, she sent the incoming arrow flying.
System Notification: You have obtained the Stone of Resentment!
— Stone of Resentment: Ominous stone, filled with the resentment of the dead, causing people to feel fear.
After the little Warrior deflected an arrow, there were still some who were unwilling to give up. They did not want Chen Mo to open the Treasure Chest and continued to attack. However, Chen Mo had already successfully obtained the item within the Treasure Chest.
Just like this strange room, this item called the Stone of Resentment was also very strange.
Chen Mo could not figure out why Ceci Hailow wanted this strange stone. However, he glanced at the Stone of Resentment and felt that it was better not to give it to her for the time being. After he understood the effects of the Stone of Resentment, he could not let Ceci Hailow consume things recklessly.
The current Ceci Hailow's evolution was already very abnormal. If she consumed another Stone of Resentment, who knew what she would become.
The description of the Stone of Resentment's attributes said that the Stone of Resentment was an ominous item. If Ceci Hailow consumed it, there was a possibility that she would encounter something ominous.
"Let's go!
Don't bother about them! "
Chen Mo called out to the little Warrior. He then asked Ceci Hailow to leave the Boss behind and return to lead the way.
Seeing that Chen Mo had obtained the Stone of Resentment, Ceci Hailow did not have the intention to continue fighting with the Mummy Boss. She turned around and chased after Chen Mo. They ran forward towards the end of the hall.
It was only a distance of 30 meters. With Ceci Hailow around, even if there was a Boss behind them, it would not be difficult for them to rush in.
As long as they entered, no matter how powerful the Mummy Boss was, it would not be able to do anything to them.
"Roar!"
Seeing that Chen Mo and the rest wanted to go past it and rush into the next room, the Mummy Boss was instantly enraged.
It fiercely slapped its chest and let out a strange cry.
"F * ck!"
As the strange cry rang out, Chen Mo could not remain calm.
Under the strange cry, all the Mummies in the entire hall started to move.
Bang bang bang …
The sound of several hundred mummies falling to the ground could be heard as they broke free from the rope and fell to the ground.
They were only 20 meters away from the end. However, there were more than 10 Mummies in this 20 meters distance.
However, the normal players behind Chen Mo were even more miserable. They followed behind Chen Mo until they were only a few dozen meters away from the next passage. Victory was right in front of their eyes, but they couldn't advance any further at this distance of a few dozen meters.
Around them, countless Mummies had surrounded them. The number of Mummies was enough to make them despair.
"It's all those damned bastards' fault!"
"That's right. Why did they snatch it? They killed us all!"
The group of people stared at the corpses on the ground with hatred. If they were still alive, they would have killed them themselves.
If these normal players were all killed, Chen Mo's situation would not be any better. These Mummies were not slow-moving zombies. Their movements were very agile. It was impossible for Chen Mo to rush through and enter the end of the passage.
However, Chen Mo still had a way!
Crimson Cage!
The dozens of Mummies in front of them were rushing towards them. Chen Mo stopped and quickly set up the Crimson Cage skill.
With his previous experience, Chen Mo knew that he still had hope.
A crimson fog surged and the dozens of Mummies were all pulled into the Crimson Cage.
A crimson figure appeared beside Chen Mo.
System Notification: Condition met. Blood Shadow Doppelganger awakened!
The Blood Shadow Doppelganger was originally a crimson figure. It held a pair of daggers in its hands. After the system notification rang out, the Blood Shadow Doppelganger's body suddenly changed.
Wisps of bloody aura rose from its body, making it look as if it was burning. However, the most obvious change was the appearance of bloody blades on its body.
"Thousand Blades Slash!"
The Blood Shadow Doppelganger let out a hoarse cry. Then, its body suddenly turned into a crimson light and rushed towards the Mummies in the crimson fog.
A human figure could be seen crazily weaving in and out of the dozens of Mummies. Damage values in the thousands rose above the heads of the Mummies. It was a spectacular sight.
Previously, there were 67 players, but more than 30 of them were killed by this skill!
However, the Mummies in front of them had much more HP and Defense than normal players. Although the Blood Shadow Doppelganger's skill dealt a lot of damage, it could not kill a single Mummy.
However, the Blood Shadow Doppelganger had successfully attracted the Mummies' aggro. Chen Mo and the little Warrior could no longer escape if they wanted to.
However, at this moment, a huge human figure appeared in the crimson fog.
It was the Mummy Boss!
When the Blood Shadow Doppelganger saw the Mummy Boss, it felt threatened and rushed towards the Mummy Boss like a bolt of lightning.
Bang!
-3,870!
With a casual attack, the Mummy Boss received thousands of damage.
There were so many enemies with high attributes in the crimson fog. The Blood Shadow Doppelganger's attributes were definitely shocking.
Of course, the Mummy Boss retaliated angrily. However, its movements were much slower than the Blood Shadow Doppelganger.
Chen Mo looked at the Blood Shadow Doppelganger and suddenly had an idea.
Perhaps, he should not kill the normal Mummies first and let them stay in the crimson fog. This way, the Blood Shadow Doppelganger's attributes would be very powerful. Just like now, the Mummy Boss's attacks could not hit the Blood Shadow Doppelganger at all!
The only problem was whether the Blood Shadow Doppelganger could kill the Mummy Boss in three minutes and let him and the little Warrior reach the end of the tunnel.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Chen Mo looked at the Blood Shadow Doppelganger and saw that the Blood Shadow Doppelganger had attacked the Mummy Boss more than ten times in an instant. It had reduced the Mummy Boss's Health Points by almost 40,000. It was very shocking.
Maybe it could work, maybe it could not!
If the Mummy Boss could really absorb the normal Mummies to recover its Health Points, it would be almost impossible to kill the Mummy Boss!
However, now that there was a chance, Chen Mo had to give it a try no matter what. At most, he would just waste two minutes!
Thinking of this, Chen Mo ordered the Blood Shadow Doppelganger to kill the Mummy Boss with all its might.
The Blood Shadow Doppelganger received Chen Mo's order and attacked the Mummy Boss crazily.
Its entire body was covered with blades. Every time it flashed, it would cause a large amount of damage to the Mummy Boss.
The Mummy Boss's Health Points was about 1,000,000. It was a normal large-sized monster. Under the Blood Shadow Doppelganger's crazy attacks, the Mummy Boss's Health Points were in the tens of thousands.
According to the Blood Shadow Doppelganger's insane damage output, the Mummy Boss's 1,000,000 Health Points would be wiped out in less than two minutes!
Chen Mo did not help the Blood Shadow Doppelganger. He and Ceci Hailow went to pull the aggro of the normal Mummies. They tried their best to prevent the normal Mummies from getting too close to the Mummy Boss and the Blood Shadow Doppelganger.
However, facing dozens of nimble Mummies, no matter how powerful Chen Mo and Cecil were, it was still difficult for them to control them. Or rather, it was already very impressive for the two of them to not be killed by the Mummies. It was completely impossible for the Mummies to not get close to the BOSS and the Blood Shadow Doppelganger.
Based on the current situation, there was no way the Mummy could be killed!
