Slime's Poison: A special potion created by analyzing the Slime's venom. It can effectively resist all negative statuses caused by the Slime. Every attack will deal additional poison damage to Slime type monsters. Effect lasts for 30 minutes!
That's it!
Looking at the Slime's Poison's attributes, Chen Mo immediately knew that the Slime's Poison was the thing that caused the Slime King's mutation!
Previously, he had thought too much about it. The Slime King's mutation was not due to any hidden conditions, but because it drank the potion. It had additional effects on all Slime type monsters, including the Slime King. If he wanted to use this potion to deal with the Slime King, the Slime King would mutate and become even stronger!
After all, if the Wild Wolf Valley was not occupied by the Three Headed Fire Wolves, causing players to be unable to obtain wolf meat to complete the beggar's quest, the Slime's Poison was not a difficult item to obtain. With a little money, one could obtain a bottle. It would not be a problem for every player fighting the Slime King to have a bottle.
Therefore, his initial analysis was basically wrong. Things were not as complicated as he thought. It was just that the system did not want players to kill the Slime King so easily.
However, Chen Mo knew that his method and train of thought were not wrong. His initial analysis was just a theory of results. If it were not for the series of analysis, he would not have reached this step.
With the Slime's Poison in hand, how did the two players cause the Slime King's mutation?
Did they use it within the Slime King's aggro range?
No!
Those two players were seeking death for the Slime King. They must have used the Slime's Poison to deal with the Slime type monsters. Then, when the potion was still in effect, they went to find the Slime King, causing the Slime King's mutation!
After analyzing this point, Chen Mo did not hesitate to drink the Slime's Poison Potion.
A faint dark green light flashed from his body, and the color of Chen Mo's crossbow changed slightly.
After finding a few Slime nearby, Chen Mo wanted to test the effects of the Slime's poison.
The first to be attacked by Chen Mo was a Black Slime with the strongest defense.
"So strong!"
Chen Mo let out a cry of surprise when an arrow hit the smooth head of the Black Slime.
− 2!
-10!
His own attack had only dealt two points of damage, but after the two red points of damage, there was still a green poison damage of 10 points!
Black Slime only had 60 Health Points. Chen Mo only needed a few attacks to kill Black Slime!
"Try something else!"
The effect of the Slime's poison was too strong. If it had the same effect on other Slime, the Slime monsters in the Slime Plains would not be a problem at all. They were not much stronger than other monsters.
"Sure enough, it can add a lot of damage to Slime of any color!"
Chen Mo tried one by one. Under the effect of the Slime's poison, every normal attack would add 40 to 60 poison damage to the Slime of any other color. His damage output had doubled.
Chen Mo's eyes lit up. If the Slime King had really mutated because of the Slime's poison, then the potion would have a strong effect on the Slime King. Otherwise, the Slime King would not have mutated at all!
Stopping his attack, Chen Mo's figure flashed as he dashed towards the Slime King.
Slime King's spawn point.
"Hahaha, Slime King, I'm coming!"
"Quick, let's kill it!"
A group of Level 10 players went to the Slime King to die. Even though they knew that they were going to die, the group was not afraid at all. They laughed and chatted.
Facing this group of intruders, the Slime King was furious and wanted to pounce. At this moment, it seemed to have sensed something.
A look of anger flashed in its big black eyes. Someone had killed its people and used their flesh to refine something to deal with it. Moreover, they wanted to use it to deal with it!
"Roar!"
With an angry roar, the Slime King's body suddenly expanded and its color changed rapidly!
"Mutated Slime King!
F * ck!
The Slime King has mutated! "
"Quick, record it!
I remember a guy on the forums who recorded a video of the Mutated Slime King and became rich overnight. He earned more than a million! "
The group of players was stunned. Some of them came to their senses and could not help but shout.
However, they were too close to the Slime King. After the Slime King mutated, it did not give them a chance to record it at all!
Whoosh!
The Mutated Slime King shook its body and a large number of fist-sized purple crystal balls that looked like marbles fell from its body. After falling to the ground, they fiercely bounced towards the group of players around it.
-800!
-800!
-800!
…
Huge damage values floated above the heads of the group of players. In an instant, all of the players were killed instantly!
After killing this group of players, the Mutated Slime King's eyes focused and looked at a person in the distance!
That adventurer was the reason why it was angry!
"This guy really has other skills!"
Chen Mo saw the Mutated Slime King's move and could not help but be shocked!
The Mutated Slime King's data was too little. Chen Mo had long been nearby, but he did not come over immediately. Instead, he deliberately waited for a group of players to approach the Slime King. Only then did he approach and cause the Slime King to mutate.
He did not expect that the test would reveal that the Mutated Slime King had a powerful AoE attack skill!
Chen Mo quickly buried a basic trap under his feet and turned around to escape.
"This fat guy has no legs, but it is still a Boss. Its jumping speed is so fast even when chasing people!
My current speed limit is 11 points. If I wear the Fallen title, it will be 13 points. This guy's speed is at least 17 points, most likely 18 points. If I don't buy a pair of high-quality shoes, even if I drink a low-level Mutated Agility Potion, I won't be able to escape! "
As he ran, Chen Mo analyzed the Mutated Slime King's speed. In the end, he found that the Mutated Slime King was indeed a Boss. Its speed was astonishing. He definitely could not escape now!
Boom!
The Mutated Slime King stepped on the basic trap set by Chen Mo, and the basic trap exploded!
-48!
-50!
Two damage values floated above the Mutated Slime King's head. One was the effect of the basic trap, and the other was the effect of the Slime King's poison.
The effect of the Slime King's poison was indeed amazing!
The Mutated Slime King's speed was extremely fast. Chen Mo continued to escape. Not only did he escape, but he also wore the Fallen title and drank one of the two remaining low-level Mutated Agility Potions.
The low-level Mutated Agility Potion could increase a player's maximum movement speed by 3 points. If Chen Mo drank it now, his maximum movement speed would reach 16 points. However, he was still slower than the Mutated Slime King. It was only a matter of time before the Mutated Slime King caught up to Chen Mo.
However, Chen Mo was someone who could set up traps while moving. After calculating the Mutated Slime King's speed, Chen Mo knew that it would not be easy for the Mutated Slime King to catch up to him. As long as he was not extremely unlucky and escaped the Mutated Slime King's aggro range, it was not impossible.
His hands moved quickly, and a Shock Trap was thrown behind Chen Mo.
Boom!
Not long after, the Mutated Slime King stepped on the Shock Trap, and its huge body came to a halt!
Not only that, it was also forced back a meter by the Shock Trap!
"Good!"
Seeing this, Chen Mo's spirits were lifted. The Shock Trap was effective against the Mutated Slime King. To him, this was great news!
After that, the Mutated Slime King and Chen Mo chased each other for a few minutes.
In the end, the Mutated Slime King was still unable to catch up to Chen Mo. It glared at Chen Mo hatefully and gave up on chasing after Chen Mo.
"This distance … should be enough …"
Chen Mo stopped. He did not turn back to continue teasing the Mutated Slime King. Instead, he lowered his head and calculated the approximate distance he had dragged the Mutated Slime King.
"As long as I can buy a pair of top-grade shoes and test out that method, it won't be impossible for me to kill the Mutated Slime King alone!"
After calculating all the information he had obtained and thinking for a long time, Chen Mo's eyes shone with excitement.
