So much more powerful in an instant?
Princess Dantri was surprised. The curse power she used was something she had just obtained from the City of Elves. It was a power that consumed a lot of energy. Every time it was used, it would be used less and less. This adventurer could actually use a skill to achieve the effect of the curse power?
However, no matter what, she had to stop these people from entering the City of Elves and coming into contact with that mission!
There was an extremely important thing in the City of Elves. This thing was their goal in entering this virtual world!
A voice sounded in Princess Dantley's ears. Her expression changed and she suddenly shouted to the people around her, "Attack with all your might and kill them!"
But at this moment, outside the bloody fog, an elven swordsman flapped his wings and quickly flew to the bloody fog.
The elven swordsman waved the greatsword in his hand and a cold light slashed down.
* Boom! *
With a loud sound, the blood-red mist was split in half and dissipated.
Dantley's group, who had planned to kill Chen Mo, had no choice but to rush to the side.
The cold light slashed past Chen Mo. Chen Mo subconsciously dodged, then looked at the bloody fog that had been split in half and disappeared. He could not help but be shocked.
The Bloody Cage skill had been split in half from the outside!
"The Elven Princess is out on patrol. Fighting is prohibited on this road. Anyone who dares to offend will be banished forever!"
The elven swordsman looked at Chen Mo and Dantley's group and shouted loudly.
Elven Princess?
With the bloody fog broken, the doppelganger fusion was naturally canceled. Chen Mo heard the elven swordsman's words and could not help but look into the distance.
In the distance, a group of elves was slowly rushing over.
Elves had wings and could fly, but this group of elves walked on the ground and slowly walked along the forest road.
"Let's go."
Both sides were forced to stop. Chen Mo also wanted to see what the Elven Princess looked like, so he called the golden phoenix and the small witch and took the initiative to walk towards the Elven Princess' team.
"Let's also return to the city."
Princess Dantley didn't expect the Elven Princess to go out on patrol today. When the Elven Princess went out on patrol, a large area outside the Elven City would be forbidden from fighting. It was already impossible to stop Chen Mo and the others, so there was no point in staying outside.
"What is that? What a dense black Qi!"
Chen Mo's trio quickly approached the Elven Princess's team. However, when they were still over 30 meters away from the Elven Princess's team, the trio couldn't help but be shocked when they saw the luxurious carriage in the Elven Princess's team.
The Elven Princess should be in the luxurious carriage, but looking from the outside, the carriage was shrouded in a cloud of black smoke.
Chen Mo was familiar with this black Qi. It was similar to Dantry's situation. However, the black Qi coming from the carriage was a hundred times more than the black Qi coming from Dantry's body.
"Undead Warhorse!"
What made the three of them even more curious was that not only was the carriage enveloped by a ball of black energy, but the horses pulling the carriage were actually two Undead Warhorses!
The Undead Warhorses were covered in black armor. If one didn't look closely, they wouldn't be able to tell that they weren't ordinary horses. Instead, they were two Undead Warhorses made of gray bones.
This was the Elven Princess?
The three of them were in disbelief. However, looking at the cold-looking Elves outside the carriage, Chen Mo's trio didn't dare to go up and answer.
This was the Elves' territory. The slightest mistake would result in permanent expulsion.
"There seems to be something strange about this place."
The Elven Princess's team gradually walked away. Looking at the team, the Golden Phoenix said.
"Of course. If there isn't anything strange, there's no need for this place to exist. Let's go to the city first and ask the other Elves to see what's going on. This probably has something to do with the Elven Princess's mission."
Chen Mo looked at the departing team and said.
The Elven Princess said that she was going out on patrol, but the truth was probably not as simple as that. However, with so many guards around the Elven Princess, he probably wouldn't be able to find anything even if he followed her.
"Let's go."
The three of them walked towards the City of the Elves. After half an hour, the three of them entered the City of the Elves.
There weren't even any guards at the entrance of the City of the Elves. The entire city was filled with Elves flying around. However, the buildings in the City of the Elves were very ordinary. It was similar to a human city. Before Chen Mo came in, he thought that he would see houses unique to the Elves. He didn't expect that it wasn't the case at all. Chen Mo couldn't help but feel a little disappointed.
"Little girl, is the Elven Princess recruiting Adventurers?"
Chen Mo found an innocent-looking Elf and asked with a smile.
"Yes, if you're interested, you can go to the palace in the center of the city to sign up." The Elf nodded vigorously.
"Okay, I understand.
By the way, when we entered the city just now, we saw the Elven Princess going out on patrol. The Elven Princess's condition seemed a little off. Is she not feeling well? "Chen Mo asked again.
"Not only is she not feeling well!
The Elven Princess is too kind. She absorbed all the Curse Power that was originally acting on us into her own body, causing her body to be corroded by the Curse Power.
The Curse Power is extremely brutal. Of course, the Princess's body can't be any better. "The Elf shook her head and said worriedly.
Sure enough, the Elven Princess was cursed. The black gas was the effect of the curse.
Half an hour later, Chen Mo left the City of the Elves alone and walked towards the north of the city.
After asking the Elf, Chen Mo and the Golden Phoenix went to the palace in the center of the city. After talking to an NPC, they easily received a quest called "Elven Request."
The quest content was very simple. In the north of the City of the Elves, there was a Cursed Forest.
The Cursed Forest didn't appear for no reason. More than ten years ago, the Cursed Forest was just an ordinary forest. However, one day, a gray meteor flashed across the sky. A special cursed fragment crashed into the forest.
These cursed fragments had a powerful corrosive power. The entire forest was corroded by the power of the curse. The entire forest was cursed.
Not only that, but the Elves in the City of the Elves also gradually discovered that they were also cursed. If they continued to bear the Curse Power, they might die.
At this time, the Elven Princess stood up. Using some unknown method, she absorbed all the Curse Power from the Elves into her own body. This caused the Elven Princess's body to become very weak. Moreover, because of the Curse Power in her body, she became extremely strong. No one dared to stand beside the Elven Princess anymore.
The Elves' request was for Chen Mo to find the Cursed Fragment in the Cursed Forest and leave with it. This way, the City of the Elves would be freed from the Curse and the Elven Princess would be able to recover quickly.
The Cursed Forest was to the north of the City of Elves. According to the Elven NPCs in the city, Chen Mo confirmed that Nine Ears and the others had already arrived at the city. The reason they were not seen in the city was probably because they had accepted a quest and gone to the Cursed Forest to complete it.
Nine Ears and Dante wouldn't just stand by and watch Chen Mo complete the Elves' request. On the way, they might intercept Chen Mo and the others.
Although they couldn't fight around the city when the Elven Princess was out on patrol, in reality, this restriction didn't exist when they were close to the Cursed Forest. Because of the fear of being cursed, no Elves would appear there.
Therefore, after Chen Mo and the Golden Phoenix were kind, the Golden Phoenix and Little Witch temporarily stayed in the City of the Elves to send news of the City of the Elves back to the China Region. At most, in half a day, a large number of players would appear in the City of the Elves.
There were many people on Dante's side. They had arrived many days earlier. If he didn't mix things up a little, it would be impossible for him to mess with Nine Ears and the others' quest alone and complete it by himself.
"This is the Cursed Forest!"
When Chen Mo heard the name 'Cursed Forest', he thought that the forest was a barren wasteland, with only dried wood and withered leaves.
But that wasn't the case.
The Cursed Forest didn't show any signs of decay. In fact, the trees in the Cursed Forest were full of vitality.
However, the moment he saw the forest, Chen Mo confirmed that the forest in front of him was the Cursed Forest.
The trees of the Cursed Forest were not withered wood. Instead, they were as black as ink. As far as the eye could see, there were trees that emitted traces of black gas everywhere!
The vitality of these trees was very strong, but they gave off a very bad feeling.
"Someone is intercepting us!"
As soon as he got close to the Cursed Forest, Chen Mo saw from afar that there were two teams pacing back and forth outside the Cursed Forest, fighting a black rabbit.
Although they were fighting, quite a few of them weren't thinking about the battle. Some of them were looking into the distance from time to time.
However, Chen Mo was very careful. He had been using Camouflage to move. When Camouflage was on cooldown, he used the surrounding trees to hide his whereabouts. He could see the two teams now, but the two teams couldn't see him.
There were no monsters around the City of Elves. It was almost like a paradise. Now that they were about to enter the Cursed Forest, Chen Mo finally saw a monster, and it was a black rabbit.
"Rabbit monster. Its speed and attack are extraordinarily strong!"
Chen Mo glanced around and realized that the rabbit monsters here were all astonishingly strong!
They were nimble, agile, and strong!
Most importantly, when the black rabbit's HP dropped to 20%, a strong black gas suddenly emerged from the black rabbit's body!
"Be careful!"
When the two teams saw this, they didn't dare to pay attention to their surroundings. Instead, they hurriedly prepared to block the black rabbit's attack.
Berserk?
Gigantification?
Chen Mo witnessed the black rabbit's transformation with his own eyes. It would be a lie to say that he wasn't surprised.
The black rabbit's eyes suddenly turned red, and its body suddenly grew three to four times its original size. Its attributes skyrocketed, and the two teams instantly became a little flustered.
What exactly was that fragment in the Cursed Forest? How could it have such terrifying power?
Not only did it change a large part of the forest, but the surrounding creatures were also affected one by one!
…
