"Yes, mother." Fiona nodded in agreement.
Below, Chen Mo and Ceci Hailow worked together to fight a large group of insects.
"Damn, these insects are not as strong as the mutant monsters, but their numbers are too scary. We can't kill them all."
Chen Mo and Ceci Hailow fought with the insect army for more than ten minutes, killing hundreds of insects. However, the number of insects around them did not decrease. Instead, their numbers increased.
"No, let's retreat first. I can't do it alone."
Looking at the endless swarm of insects, Chen Mo decided to retreat first.
The insects that appeared first were definitely the weakest. If the stronger insects surrounded him, he would have to use Coin Flash and Bloodshadow Teleport to escape.
Instead of wasting Coins, Chen Mo decided to leave first.
No matter what, it was impossible for him to break through the insect army in front of him alone.
The insect army blocked the way. The good news was that even with so many people, Nine Ears and the others could not enter first. He did not have to worry about Nine Ears and the others getting in first.
On the way, Chen Mo saw Dante, Nine Ears, and the others retreating. Chen Mo was able to reach the center of the Cursed Forest quickly. Other than his Camouflage skill, Chen Mo was able to reach the center of the Cursed Forest quickly. Otherwise, even with Camouflage skill, he would not have been able to reach the center in such a short time.
"Let's walk around."
Chen Mo retreated with Ceci Hailow and walked out of the insect's attack range. He thought about it and made a decision.
He chose to walk the path that Nine Ears and the others had taken. They did not encounter any trouble along the way, but they would not find anything good. The Cursed Forest was so big. Other than the fragment of the Black Nest in the center, it was impossible that there was nothing good.
Now that he knew that the Black Nest was not a place that one person could enter alone, he had nothing else to do. It would be good to walk around and see if there was anything good.
Chen Mo activated Camouflage and sneaked into the Cursed Forest.
"There are many trees and mutant monsters, but there is nothing else."
In the blink of an eye, Chen Mo had walked around the Cursed Forest for half an hour. In the end, he did not find anything.
Along the way, he also encountered some mutated monsters that his Camouflage skill could not fool, such as vultures and rats.
Vultures were fine since they were born with good eyesight.
But what was the matter with the rat? It was such a huge rat with frighteningly sharp eyes. Chen Mo and Ceci Hailow had spent a lot of effort to kill the huge mutant rat.
No wonder the two teams had a hard time fighting the mutant rabbit. After Chen Mo personally fought the mutant rat, he realized that the combat power of mutant monsters was not ordinary.
Chen Mo and Ceci Hailow could fight a large group of monsters outside.
However, Chen Mo estimated that if three monsters attacked him at once, he would be in trouble. If he had to face six of them, he would have to consider running away.
Seeing how powerful the mutated monsters were, Chen Mo was even more convinced that the Cursed Forest had something good to offer.
"A fruit!"
Hard work paid off. After searching for another half an hour, Chen Mo finally saw an unusual fruit tree.
There were no other trees in the surroundings on the pitch-black ground. There was only a black fruit tree in the middle of the ground. The black fruit tree had sparse branches and leaves, but there was a black fruit the size of a fist.
When Chen Mo saw the black fruit, he knew that the thing he was looking for was this fruit!
Chen Mo wanted to go over and pick the black fruit, but he did not dare to be impulsive.
Under the black fruit, there was a huge beehive. Occasionally, a fist-sized giant bee would fly out of the beehive.
Judging from the size of the beehive, there were at least ten giant bees.
These giant bees were undoubtedly mutated monsters. Facing two or three of Chen Mo was not a problem, but facing ten or twenty of them at the same time, Chen Mo admitted that he did not have the ability to do so.
There was a saying that went like a swarm of bees. Needless to say, bee-type monsters would charge in a swarm. Luring them one by one was simply impossible. If Chen Mo wanted to pick the black fruit, he would have to think of a way to kill this swarm of giant bees.
Killing them all at once was impossible, but luring the tiger away from the mountain was worth a try!
There was still a Treant on him that was still alive. Chen Mo did not hesitate to use this Treant as cannon fodder.
Under Chen Mo's command, the Treant obediently went to its death.
The Treant was just a normal monster. It could not be compared to the mutated monsters in the Cursed Forest. If a Treant fought with a swarm of giant bees, it would die a horrible death.
Sure enough, when the Treant ran towards the fruit tree, the giant bees on the tree were immediately alerted. Seventeen giant bees rushed out.
These giant bees were all pitch-black and had a pair of large black eyes. The seventeen giant bees glared fiercely at the Treant before swarming towards it.
Under Chen Mo's command, the Treant decisively ran away.
Unfortunately, the Treant's Movement Speed was too slow. The giant bees' Movement Speed was shockingly fast. Before the Treant could run far, it was caught up by the giant bees and attacked crazily.
"As expected, the Treant has thick skin and high HP. It can't take more than a few attacks."
The Treant was sacrificed, but Chen Mo had obtained the data he wanted. Combining it with the few mutated monsters he had fought before, he had a rough idea of the attributes of the giant bees.
As for whether or not the giant bees had any special abilities, Chen Mo was not afraid.
Although the mutated monsters in the Cursed Forest were powerful, their abilities were almost the same. They only had two abilities: Berserk and Gigantism.
In fact, the mutated monsters before Berserk and Gigantism were not that powerful. Only after Berserk and Gigantism did they pose a problem to Chen Mo.
After the Treant died, the seventeen giant bees buzzed and flew back to the hive on the fruit tree.
However, Chen Mo did not plan to let them rest. He moved his hand and called out Ceci Hailow.
Ceci Hailow's speed was faster than the giant bees. He wanted Ceci Hailow to lure the giant bees away and think of a way to kill them one by one.
As for luring all the giant bees away, that was impossible. He had seen it with his own eyes. After the seventeen giant bees flew away from the hive, two more giant bees crawled out of the hive and looked around vigilantly.
If there were no accidents, there should be more than twenty giant bees in the hive!
However, with the attributes of the giant bees, he felt that he could still kill them and take the black fruit with a little more time.
Ceci Hailow moved and strode towards the black fruit. The giant bees in the hive were alarmed and came out again.
After being disturbed twice and thrice, the giant bees were furious. More than ten giant bees chased after Ceci Hailow fiercely.
Ceci Hai Luo pulled a group of black hurricanes and quickly left the black fruit and the beehive. However, Chen Mo didn't walk towards the beehive. He knew that there were at least three giant bees in the beehive.
He could deal with three giant bees alone. If the Black Hurricanes were not Berserk and Gigantism, it would not be a problem. However, once they were Berserk, the attributes of the Black Hurricanes would increase greatly. Even if Chen Mo could kill them, he would have to pay a heavy price.
Therefore, Chen Mo had his eyes on the giant bees that were chasing after Ceci Hailow.
Chen Mo quickly chased after them. He switched to his Click Crossbow and aimed at the last giant bee. He used the Electric Shock skill and shot an arrow at the last giant bee.
Chen Mo's idea was very simple. He wanted to use the Electric Shock skill to paralyze the last giant bee and make it leave the group.
This way, he would only need to face one giant bee and would be able to easily kill it with some time.
As long as this method worked, it would only be a matter of time before he killed the rest of the giant bees.
But reality wasn't as good as he thought. Chen Mo's arrow hit the last Giant Black Bee, and the Giant Black Bee couldn't move because of the paralysis effect.
However, several giant bees behind it turned around and flew towards Chen Mo fiercely.
F * ck, I have no choice but to change to plan B.
Three giant bees flew towards Chen Mo. If it was not for the fact that the one that was attacked was still paralyzed, he would have to face four of them at once.
Triple Shot!
Facing the three rapidly approaching giant bees, Chen Mo used the Triple Shot skill. However, the Triple Shot skill only hit two of the giant bees, causing the speed of the two giant bees to decrease by quite a bit, increasing the distance between them and the giant bee at the front.
On the other side, Ceci Hailow was still leading the dozen or so giant bees away.
"Hurricane!"
Suddenly, Ceci Hailow used the Hurricane skill!
Once the Hurricane skill was used, the surrounding giant bees all … no, among the three giant bees, the giant bee that was not attacked by Chen Mo was not caught by the Hurricane because it was faster.
Of course, this was not the case. This was Chen Mo's deliberate action.
If the giant bees would not separate on their own, he would force them to separate!
Naturally, Chen Mo already had a way to separate them.
Ceci Hailow's Hurricane skill allowed her to move quickly. Thus, when Ceci Hailow's Hurricane skill was used, the remaining giant bees would be swept away, leaving only one behind!
It was easy to say, but it was not easy to do.
The Hurricane skill had a large range. With the distance between Ceci Hailow and the giant bee, Chen Mo had to accurately control it, allowing Ceci Hailow to attack in order to achieve this.
In the end, just as Chen Mo had expected, the giant black bee was forcefully separated from its body.
The rest of the Giant Black Hornets had already been pulled far away by Ceci and Harlot. Chen Mo also pulled the aggro of this Giant Black Hornet further away, completely widening the distance between this Giant Black Hornet and its companions.
After gathering so far away, Ceci Hailow's giant bees did not chase after them.
Chen Mo began to fight the giant bees. With Chen Mo's attributes and equipment, it was not difficult for him to solo the giant bees. He just needed to spend a bit more time.
However, it took Chen Mo a lot of effort to kill the berserk giant bees. In the end, it took him a full five minutes to kill one of them.
At this time, Ceci Hailow's Hurricane skill had finished its cooldown. Chen Mo caught up to Ceci Hailow and used the same method to kill the dozen or so giant bees that were chasing after Ceci Hailow. Only a few giant bees were left in the hive.
…
The third time was even worse.
