"Hah!"
The vast blue flames surged towards New Moon Guild. The 12 Shield Knights in front of New Moon Guild roared in unison. The 12 shields in their hands released numerous golden rays of light, linking the 12 of them together.
In the next moment, the twelve of them seemed to have become a whole sky, blooming with a strong light. The blue flames fiercely hit the two Shield Knights at the front, but the flames suddenly paused, and then were separated to two sides!
However, the HP of the two Shield Knights at the very front was still rapidly decreasing. The golden light that enveloped them was unable to completely block the attacks of the Three-headed Blazing Wolf. Based on the rate at which the two Shield Knights were losing HP, they would die in at most three seconds.
"This is the effect of those 12 shields. They only slightly blocked the armor piercing property of the flames. Where did New Moon Guild get their confidence from?"
The Dragon Soaring Guild members at the back saw this and couldn't help but mock.
In the current situation, New Moon Guild could only rely on these 12 shields to block the Wolf King's attack a bit more than their Dragon Soaring Guild.
However, Long Yun didn't say anything. His cold eyes stared closely at the 12 Shield Knights of New Moon Guild.
After the two Shield Knights at the front lost 50% of their HP, they quickly retreated. The Shield Knights behind them moved forward to fill in the gap.
Many Shield Knights would switch positions to block the damage. All large guilds would use this when attacking a BOSS. However, when facing a BOSS's unstoppable attacks, the Shield Knights wouldn't be able to block the big moves and the Priests wouldn't be able to heal, resulting in an instant party wipe. Dragon Soaring Guild was like this before.
"What fast recovery speed!"
Long Yun looked at the two people who retreated and saw that their recovery speed was extremely shocking. After not being attacked by the BOSS, they just retreated to the last row and their HP was back to full!
After recovering to full HP, the two people moved up from the side and replaced the Shield Knights who had retreated.
Just like that, the twelve Shield Paladins used their amazing recovery abilities to continuously switch positions like a river. Then, they blocked the Wolf King Boss's Flame Spray for ten seconds!
"This set of shields is indeed powerful!" Long Yun exhaled.
The reason why New Moon Guild's Shield Knights could recover so quickly was not because of the Priests. Logically speaking, if there were enough Priests, the Shield Knights could recover quickly. However, there was a limit to the number of Priests. When fighting a Boss, if the number of Priests exceeded a certain number, it would be suicidal to cast skills on the Shield Knights.
This was because a Priest's healing skill was the easiest skill to pull aggro other than a Knight's taunt skill. Without crowd control, a Priest would be the biggest reason for a team wipe.
That was why the Shield Knights of New Moon Guild were able to recover so quickly, not because of the Priests. There weren't many Priests in New Moon Guild. The reason why they could recover so quickly was because of the 12 pieces of shields. They could heal the other Shield Knights and the healing effects of the potions that they drank to heal the injured.
A Priest's AOE healing skill could cover 12 people. If only one person was injured, then the healing effect on that person could be increased by 12 times!
Of course, Long Yun could also see that the effects of the 12 shields weren't that overpowered. They only transferred a portion of the healing effects and potions to the injured person. Otherwise, they could even stand and fight the Boss.
Moreover, there were probably other restrictions on the shields. Otherwise, these 12 people wouldn't be able to cooperate so well.
The first big move of the Three-headed Blazing Wolf was carefully blocked by the 12 Shield Knights of New Moon Guild. Although the 12 Shield Knights were in danger of dying under the fierce attacks of the Three-headed Blazing Wolf, they survived in the end.
"Roar!"
After its attack was blocked, the Three-headed Blazing Wolf was stunned. It didn't expect that its attack didn't kill anyone.
In a fit of rage, the other head opened its mouth and spat out a fiery red stream of flames towards the New Moon Guild once again.
The stream of flames covered the sky and covered the earth. Anyone who looked at it would feel a sense of despair. The people of Dragon Soaring Guild couldn't help but take a few steps back. Previously, most of them died under this move. After this move, less than 20 people survived. The last 20 people died under the third move.
However, in this torrential stream of flames, New Moon Guild was like a stubborn rock in a torrent. They were in a very dangerous situation, but they weren't swept away.
The twelve Shield Knights standing at the very front, under the effect of the twelve set shields, completely ignored the torrent of flames that rammed into their bodies. They only carefully took up positions to block the damage.
After 10 seconds, the torrential stream of flames was extinguished. Under the attack of the Three-headed Blazing Wolf, New Moon Guild was still unharmed. Not a single person died!
"They blocked it again!
New Moon Guild is still unharmed! "
The people of Dragon Soaring Guild were all stunned.
"Roar!"
The Three-headed Blazing Wolf roared angrily and used its third move!
It was still an AoE fire attack. However, the third move was to spit out black fireballs the size of footballs from its third head. These black fireballs were like meteorites, smashing towards New Moon Guild.
However, this move was still ineffective against New Moon Guild. After experiencing the first two moves, the 12 Shield Knights of New Moon Guild had enough confidence to block the third move of the Three-headed Blazing Wolf!
A series of explosions sounded. Black smoke enveloped the 12 Shield Knights. However, when the explosions stopped and the smoke dispersed, the 12 Shield Knights were revealed. Their figures were still the same as before!
"Haha, we blocked it. This Wolf King Boss is only so-so!"
"Quick, kill it!
This is the First Blood, it will definitely be a huge drop! "
The morale of the New Moon Guild members instantly rose. Their eyes lit up.
"Let's go, help attack!"
At the back, Long Yun confirmed the defensive capabilities of the 12 Shield Knights of New Moon Guild and shouted at the surrounding members of Flying Dragon.
"Alright!"
"Kill!"
Towards the Wolf King Boss, Dragon Soaring Guild definitely had thoughts about it. Now that there was a chance to kill the Wolf King Boss and get a share of the loot, they definitely wouldn't give it up.
"Boss Moon God, if we knew this would happen, we would have fought the Wolf King Boss ourselves. Now that the Wolf King Boss drops, we have to split the loot with Dragon Soaring Guild. It's too easy for them." Someone in New Moon Guild couldn't help but say to Moon God.
"No, it's not a big deal to split the loot with them once." Moon God shook her head.
This was the first time New Moon Guild used a set of 12 shields to fight a Boss. They called Dragon Soaring Guild because they didn't have 100% confidence in these 12 shields. These 12 shields had weaknesses. Calling Dragon Soaring Guild was to minimize the risk. Even if they failed and were wiped out, with Dragon Soaring Guild around, New Moon Guild wouldn't suffer too much loss.
The two guilds started to work together. All the members behind the 12 Shield Knights fiercely attacked the Three-headed Blazing Wolf!
In the valley.
Kaka and the others had already started attacking the Crimson Snake King, while Chen Mo watched from the side.
Chen Mo heard the battle between the Three-headed Blazing Wolf and the two large guilds. When he heard that the Three-headed Blazing Wolf had launched two consecutive attacks and a third one, causing a loud explosion, he couldn't help but frown.
Strange, the Three-headed Blazing Wolf should be very powerful. Even if the two large guilds worked together, they still wouldn't be a match for it.
Feeling that something was wrong, Chen Mo didn't continue to watch Kaka and the others attack the Crimson Snake King. Instead, he turned around and ran out of the valley.
There was no doubt about the strength of Kaka and the others. Even if there were only two Shield Knights in the team, killing the Crimson Snake King wouldn't be a problem. On the other hand, it would be best if nothing happened to the Three-headed Blazing Wolf.
F * ck!
That stupid wolf!
When he ran out to take a look, Chen Mo couldn't help but scold this stupid Three-headed Blazing Wolf.
This fellow, the wings that grew out during the mutation were all for nothing. It clearly had a pair of wings, so why did it have to land on the ground and fight with others? If it had used its ultimate skill in the sky, it could have easily wiped out the two large guilds.
However, Chen Mo knew that this was most likely related to the fact that this fellow didn't know how to fly in the past. After it learned how to fly, it didn't have much combat experience. Chen Mo reckoned that it could only suppress others and didn't know how to use its advantage in the air.
The Three-headed Blazing Wolf wouldn't die in a short period of time. Chen Mo disguised himself as he stood and watched for a while. He knew that the reason why the Three-headed Blazing Wolf wasn't able to wipe out the two large guilds and was instead being attacked by the two large guilds was because of the twelve Shield Knights in front of it.
"Tsk tsk, there's actually such equipment in the game."
Chen Mo clicked his tongue in amazement. With these twelve Shield Knights, the Three-headed Blazing Wolf might just die here today.
The Three-headed Blazing Wolf couldn't die. If it died, his Crimson Snake King's Gallbladder would be gone.
He had no choice but to help this stupid wolf!
After watching for a while, Chen Mo already had a way to deal with these twelve Shield Knights!
Disguising himself as close as possible, Chen Mo took advantage of the moment when the Three-headed Blazing Wolf's attack paused for a moment to suddenly move. He activated his Agility Burst attribute and rushed towards the twelve Shield Knights like a bolt of lightning under the scorching sun!
"Who's there!"
"Knights, be careful!"
The people from New Moon Guild had good eyesight. Naturally, they saw Chen Mo rushing towards them.
However, Chen Mo's Agility Burst attribute gave him an astonishing speed. With Chen Mo moving first, they couldn't stop him in time even if they wanted to. They could only shout out to the Shield Knights in front of them to be careful.
However, when their shouts reached him, Chen Mo had already rushed into the midst of the twelve Shield Knights.
His figure paused, and he abruptly stopped behind the two Shield Knights in front of him who were about to stop with their HP below 50%!
Shock Trap!
He slapped one of them with his palm, and the shock wave from the Shock Trap spread out in all directions. The two Shield Knights couldn't help but rush forward a distance of three and a half meters!
The formation of the twelve Shield Knights was instantly disrupted. The golden light that was binding them disappeared, and the golden light that enveloped them also disappeared!
… …
The first one was even worse.
