"So this is the human territory."
In the northwest of Katrina's wilderness, there was a flash of light, and in the sparse forest, more than forty figures suddenly appeared.
These forty figures were divided into two groups, and they obviously belonged to two different groups.
The clothes of these two groups were very different from the players around Katrina. Their clothes were rough and not as exquisite as the normal players. They were obviously not human players.
A Summoner in front of one of the groups looked at the surrounding scenery and couldn't help but mumble.
They were from the Orc race. Many of them were brought to the Orc race after entering the game and became Orc players. However, there were also many who joined the Orc race directly when they entered the game and had never been to the human territory.
"Hehe, Shepherd, are you afraid?
I heard that you were beaten up badly by a human player in the City of Sin. Even your signature Boss pet's strength was reduced by a lot. "
A burly Orc Warrior in front of the other group looked at the Summoner who was mumbling to himself and laughed.
"Decepticon Tiger, where did you hear that from?" The Shepherd's face darkened as he looked at the Orc Warrior.
This Orc Warrior was called Decepticon Tiger, and he was a fierce member of the Ferocious Tiger Guild. The people around him were all from the Ferocious Tiger Guild.
The Shepherd came from Fragrant Trail of the Green Fields, and his companions were also from Fragrant Trail of the Green Fields.
Fragrant Trail of the Green Fields and Ferocious Tiger Guild were both well-known large guilds among the beastmen. These two large guilds were competitors, and there had been many conflicts and conflicts between them. This time, both of these large guilds had accepted a quest to search for treasures and protect the human race.
This quest was a cooperative quest, but the more people there were, the less rewards there would be. Both sides wanted the other side to be completely annihilated, leaving only their own guild members. That way, the rewards would be doubled.
If they were in the Orc race, both sides might have already attacked and killed each other.
However, in the unfamiliar human territory, both guilds didn't act rashly. This was the human territory, and they didn't know if they would encounter a large number of human players and monsters during the quest.
It was good to get more rewards, but if they couldn't even guarantee the completion of the quest, then the rewards would be a joke.
Therefore, the two guilds could only engage in a war of words.
"Hehe, I met an expert overseas. He also came to the City of Sin because of his black name. Unfortunately, he saw you being beaten up by that human player.
Tsk tsk, who would have thought that a Shepherd from the famous Fragrant Trail of the Green Fields guild would be beaten up so badly. "Tyrannical Sky Tiger mocked mercilessly.
He had known about this for a long time. However, the two of them had not interacted much recently, so Deceptively Tiger was not in a hurry to expose this matter. It was only now that both of them had arrived at human territory that Deceptively Tiger brought up this matter, purposely attacking the morale of Fragrant Trail in the Green Fields.
"Tyrannical Sky Tiger, don't spout nonsense without evidence. Be careful or we'll sue you for slander!" Someone beside the Shepherd shouted angrily at the Tyrannical Sky Tiger.
The Shepherd had an extremely high reputation in the Fragrant Trail of the Green Fields. The reason why the Fragrant Trail of the Green Fields had been able to develop until now was largely due to the Shepherd.
Back then, the reason why the Shepherd had a black name was because he had single-handedly massacred all the members of an enemy guild who were trying to destroy the Fragrant Trail of the Green Fields. After that, the black name was captured and sent to the Orc Race's prison.
Because of the Shepherd's crazy actions, the other Orc Race guilds were wary of Fragrant Trail of the Green Fields and did not dare to act recklessly. This was why the Fragrant Trail of the Green Fields was able to develop so quickly.
"Li Yuan."
The Shepherd waved his hand, gesturing for the player called Li Yuan not to mind. Then, he said to Tyrannical Sky Tiger, "What you said is the truth. However, in any case, I still managed to enter the top ten in that competition. If it was you who had lost to me, I'm afraid you wouldn't even be able to enter the top fifty."
"Hmph!
How many years ago was that? Now that we've all completed our second class transitions, you still have the nerve to talk about the past!
If I meet that guy again, I'll let you see how long he can survive in the hands of me, the Tyrannical Sky Tiger! "Tyrannical Sky Tiger laughed coldly and said with incomparable confidence.
After a human player completed their second class transitions, their strength would increase greatly. However, due to the uniqueness of the Orc Race players, after their second class transitions, their strength would increase exponentially!
"You're finally here.
You've made me wait for so long. Stop talking nonsense and come with me. We're going to search for the Ancient Ruins! "
At this time, a skinny old man walked out from the forest and shouted at the Shepherd and Tyrannical Sky Tiger.
Ancient Ruins!
When the two groups heard this, they immediately lost the mood to quarrel.
They had accepted a quest to help this old man called Holka explore an Ancient Ruin.
They had to help Holka find the corresponding quest item. Once they found the quest item, they would complete the quest.
The quest reward was not cheap, but that was not the most important thing. According to their experience, this sort of quest to search for Ancient Ruins, in the process of exploring the ruins, there were likely to be other rewards. As long as it was not a quest item, they could keep it for themselves. The rewards might even be more than the rewards.
"Mr. Holka, please lead the way." The Shepherd and Tyrannical Sky Tiger stopped quarreling and said to Holka.
"Alright, follow me. Be careful and don't let anyone discover you. However, this area is very remote and there aren't many monsters. Not many people will come here, so there's no need to worry too much." Holka nodded and then quickly ran forward.
The Shepherd, Tyrannical Sky Tiger, and the others led their subordinates and chased after Holka.
The group walked in the dark forest for more than 20 minutes. The forest gradually thinned out, and the ground that was full of fallen leaves turned into solid rock.
A messy stone forest appeared in their field of vision. Aside from the sparse trees, the surrounding area was filled with grayish-white rocks.
These rocks were of different heights and shapes. The rocks were covered with dark green moss, and some of them had been weathered badly. They had been there for quite some time.
Holka then stopped in front of a messy stone forest.
After stopping and confirming the correct position, Holka instructed his subordinates, "Follow my instructions and move these rocks!"
"Okay."
Since it was an Ancient Ruin, the method to enter it should not be simple. Otherwise, it would not have remained unexplored until now.
The Shepherd and Tyrannical Sky Tiger's subordinates had no objections to Holka's instructions.
"The side with the pattern on these rocks is the front side. Follow my instructions and move the front side to the corresponding direction."
Many of the surrounding rocks had strange patterns on them. Some of them were very obvious, while others were like irregular symbols.
Even though they looked strange, the patterns didn't seem to be related to one another on the surface.
However, Holka seemed to know the secret of these patterns. At this moment, he quickly ordered the Orc players to work together to move the rocks.
As the rocks moved one by one, if one were to look from high up in the sky, these rocks would form a large pattern of water droplets in the large and messy stone forest.
Holka knew that this water droplet pattern did not refer to water droplets. Instead, it had a special meaning.
Boom!
"Be careful!
The rock is collapsing! "
As the water droplet pattern formed, the rock in the middle of the water droplet pattern suddenly collapsed and disappeared with a loud bang. The surrounding Orc players hurriedly scattered.
"The entrance to the ruin!"
Then, a pitch-black entrance appeared on the ground where the rock had disappeared.
Holka hurriedly ran over and looked at the pitch-black entrance as he shouted to the group of Orc players, "Okay, the entrance is open. You adventurers, hurry up and explore!"
"Let's go!"
The Shepherd and Decepticon Tiger did not hesitate and directly led the group into the entrance.
If even entering the ruin was dangerous, they would not be able to complete the quest. Therefore, the two of them did not have any scruples.
After entering, they did not encounter any danger. After the group entered, they found themselves in a huge square stone room. On the walls of the stone room, there were lit oil lamps. Through the lamps, they could clearly see that there were four passages in the middle of the surrounding walls.
"You all go explore and look for the quest items. After you have finished exploring the ruin, come back here. I will wait for your news here."
Holka looked at the four tunnels around him with a burning look in his eyes. However, he suppressed the excitement in his heart and urged the Shepherd and the others to hurry up.
"Mr. Holka, aren't you coming with us?" Someone could not help but ask.
"Nonsense, I don't even know if this ruin is dangerous or not.
What if I encounter danger in there and die?!
I'm not an adventurer like you. I'm not afraid of death. My life is precious!
Stop talking nonsense and hurry up. If people discover this place, there will be a lot of human adventurers swarming here. By then, you won't be able to escape even if you want to! "Holka glared at the player who asked the question and urged the group once again.
Damn, this is the first time I've seen such a cowardly NPC!
The members of the Ferocious Tiger Guild and Fragrant Trail of Green Fields looked down on the cowardly old man Holka. However, they also knew that Holka was right. If human players discovered this place, it would not take long before countless players swarmed in. At that time, they would be dead for sure.
Their clothing was very different from human players. Others could tell at a glance that they were not human players. Not only would there be no punishment for killing them in human territory, but there would also be rewards.
"Tigers, follow me!" The Decepticon Tiger waved his hand and led the members of the Ferocious Tiger Guild to the left passage.
"We'll take the right passage."
The Shepherd did not intend to follow the Ferocious Tiger Guild. He waved his hand and led the members of Fragrant Trail of Green Fields into the right passage.
"I hope these adventurers are not all killed. Otherwise, I'll have to return empty-handed after spending so much effort to come here."
Holka muttered to himself after the two groups of adventurers disappeared.
He did not betray the Orcs willingly. It was all because he accidentally discovered this ancient ruin more than ten years ago!
In order to survive, he had no choice but to take advantage of the war between the races and defected to the Orcs!
…
The first part was even worse.
