The two guards were at a disadvantage for a while, but they did not call for help. They just defended without making a sound.
Chen Mo and Blackbeard both frowned.
The battle between the two and the guards was quite loud. Previously, when they were fighting further away, the guards had heard the commotion and came over. Even if the two guards did not call for help, the remaining four guards would know that there was a battle going on here.
Chen Mo and Blackbeard still had the upper hand in the battle, but once the effects of Blackbeard's Poison Swamp disappeared, the situation would change.
The guards' recovery ability was amazing. It was impossible for the two of them to kill the guards in such a short period of time.
"Pull them over there."
Seeing that the two guards did not call for help, the two of them immediately carried out the second plan.
The place they chose was not far from the entrance of the Divine Site Hall. As long as they moved some distance with the two guards, they would be near the entrance of the Divine Site Hall.
If they fought near the entrance of the Divine Site Hall, the remaining four guards would be able to see it and be lured over.
As long as the guards at the entrance of the Divine Site Hall moved away slightly, the two of them would have the opportunity to control the monitoring puppets to enter the Divine Site Hall.
"Where do you think you're going!"
The two of them left the two guards behind and ran towards the Divine Site Hall. The two guards immediately forgot that they were being suppressed by the two of them and shouted as they chased after the two of them.
Chen Mo and Blackbeard were extremely fast. After ten seconds, the two of them arrived at the side of the entrance of the Divine Site Hall. From the entrance of the Divine Site Hall, they could clearly see the two of them.
The two of them looked at the entrance of the Divine Site Hall. The four guards at the entrance only glanced at the two of them coldly. They had no intention of chasing after the two of them.
As for the two guards behind them, after the two of them stopped moving, they chased after the two of them and attacked them again.
Although they didn't have Blackbeard's Poison Swamp this time, the two of them had a clear understanding of the guards' strength and attacking habits. This time, the two of them no longer relied on the Poison Swamp. Instead, they used powerful skills to fight against the two guards.
Azure Dragon Strike, Toxic Blast, Earth Shattering Spike, and even Spatial Fissure, Chen Mo used them one by one.
Black water balls appeared beside Blackbeard. These water balls kept spinning around him, and as the damage dealt increased, these black water balls quickly turned from liquid to metal balls.
Following which, the black spheres bombarded the two guards one after another. The two guards tried their best to block, but they still received frightening amounts of damage.
The battle between the two players and the two guards shook the heavens and earth. Moreover, the two guards were clearly at a disadvantage under the constant barrage of Skills.
However, the four guards dozens of meters away were still unmoved. They had no intention of coming over.
"There's no other way. Let's retreat first. If we don't get close enough to the entrance, the four guards probably won't move," Chen Mo said.
If possible, the two of them naturally wanted to get rid of the two guards first before finding trouble with the four guards. However, this was not realistic. The two of them had a limit to their skills. After a round of Skills, they could only reduce the two guards' HP by one-tenth.
When they could not connect their skills, the two of them would be at a disadvantage from the counterattack of the guards. Moreover, the guards' HP would recover by a large margin.
If they continued to approach the Divine Site Hall with the two guards, the four guards would definitely attack when they reached a certain distance. However, at that time, it would be difficult for the two of them to escape.
The two of them were already doing their best to stall the two guards. Fighting six guards at once was no different from courting death.
"Okay, let's go!" Blackbeard was also helpless. He could only nod and reply.
The two of them flashed, no longer tangling with the two guards. They quickly fled into the scorched forest ahead.
"Kill!"
The two guards immediately chased after the two of them. However, the two of them were very fast. As Chen Mo ran, he set up a few small traps along the way. These traps could not trap the guards, but they could slow them down. Not long after, the two of them escaped from the guards' field of vision.
The two guards could not find them and quickly returned along the road.
"At this speed, even if we take the opportunity to run back and fight the other four guards, we still won't have time."
Blackbeard sighed as he watched the two guards return.
The two of them had another plan. After discovering that they could not attract more guards, they would lure the two guards away. Then, the two of them would quickly run back and fight the other four guards before the two guards returned. They would also take the opportunity to control the Monitoring Puppet and enter the Divine Site Hall.
However, the two guards returned faster than the two of them. The two of them knew that it was hopeless.
"The only thing left is to break through head-on. I have a more troublesome method that might give us a chance. However, this method is a little dangerous. If we're not careful, we'll lose our lives."
While Blackbeard was scratching his head, thinking of other ideas, Chen Mo suddenly spoke up.
"What is it?
Let's hear it. "Blackbeard's eyes lit up.
A little danger was nothing to him. However, if Chen Mo said that there was a little danger, then the danger was not as simple as just a little.
Chen Mo immediately told him his idea. After hearing it, Blackbeard pondered for a moment and decided to do as Chen Mo said.
The two of them then split up. Soon, the two of them each brought back twenty to thirty Level 60 Black Jackals.
Roar! Roar!
A large pack of Black Jackals ferociously chased after the two players. Although these Black Jackals were about the same size as normal wolves, they were all Level 60. Their attack power was extremely high, and if one was careless, the damage they could inflict was no laughing matter.
Only the two of them had the means to lure so many Level 60 monsters at once. If it were anyone else, they would have been surrounded and torn to pieces by the pack of Black Jackals.
Leading dozens of Black Jackals, the two of them ran all the way to the Divine Site Hall.
"Those two fellows are back again. This time, they brought so many monsters!"
When the six guards saw Chen Mo and Blackbeard return with a group of monsters, they could not help but be furious.
Two of them moved and rushed over, wanting to intercept Chen Mo and Blackbeard.
Chen Mo and Blackbeard knew that it was pointless to tangle with the two guards. The two of them flashed and dodged the two guards' interception.
Boom!
When they were about thirty to forty meters away from the Divine Site Hall, Blackbeard unceremoniously threw a black cloud at the four guards in front of the Divine Site Hall.
"You're courting death!"
The four guards were furious. They could not ignore Blackbeard's attack at this distance. Blackbeard and Chen Mo's actions were equivalent to attacking the Divine Site Hall. They had the responsibility to protect the Divine Site Hall!
Their bodies flashed and four silver rays of light shot towards the two of them!
With the four guards in front, there were two more guards and a large group of Level 60 Elite monsters behind them!
Even if the two of them had amazing strength, the current situation was extremely dangerous!
The two of them did not dare to relax in the slightest. Blackbeard even looked at Chen Mo.
If the situation was slightly off, he would not hesitate to abandon Chen Mo and run away to save his life.
Chen Mo ignored Blackbeard. When the large group of Black Jackals and the six guards entered a sufficient range, he suddenly moved!
Golden Imprint!
Crimson Cage!
Whoosh!
The Crimson Cage skill spread out with a whoosh, enveloping the six guards and the dozens of monsters inside!
Under the effect of the Golden Imprint skill, the movements of all the Black Jackals slowed down.
The normal Golden Imprint was useless against a Boss, but against these Level 60 monsters, the effect was still very significant.
However, it was not very useful against the six guards. The silver armor on the six guards could greatly reduce the negative status effects.
The movements of the six guards were only slowed down by the Golden Imprint. The six of them continued to attack Chen Mo and Blackbeard furiously.
However, before the six of them could reach Chen Mo and Blackbeard, a blood-red figure pounced on the six guards without a care for its own safety.
Blackbeard took the opportunity to use Poison Swamp again to slow down the six guards.
"Do it!" Chen Mo shouted softly.
Outside the Crimson Cage, two one-meter tall, bronze-colored wooden puppets quickly approached the Divine Site Hall.
The guards at the entrance of the Divine Site Hall were actually more than ten meters away from the Divine Site Hall. However, they were trapped in the Crimson Cage by Chen Mo. The six guards did not know that outside the Crimson Cage, the two Monitoring Puppets had already passed through the stone door of the Divine Site Hall and walked inside.
The Divine Site Hall was originally only accessible to NPCs with authority. Adventurers were not allowed to enter.
This was a hard-and-fast condition that could not be changed. However, using the Monitoring Puppets to enter was a loophole in the setting.
The Monitoring Puppets did not have any signs of life. In this world, they were like a piece of rock or a piece of clothing. The two Monitoring Puppets did not encounter any obstacles when they passed through the ancient and tall Divine Site Hall.
Inside the Crimson Cage, the Blood Shadow Doppelganger fought with the six guards without any regard for its life. The six guards were temporarily trapped by the Golden Imprint and Poison Swamp, and all their attacks landed on the Blood Shadow Doppelganger.
Although the Blood Shadow Doppelganger was in an awakened state, it could not withstand many attacks from the six guards.
In a short while, the Blood Shadow Doppelganger was killed by the six guards.
Once the Blood Shadow Doppelganger died, the Crimson Cage skill was broken.
"Let's go!"
When Chen Mo and Blackbeard saw this, their figures moved and they quickly retreated.
The Monitoring Puppets had already entered the Divine Site Hall. The two of them did not need to stay any longer.
The two of them were not afraid of the six guards noticing anything. These six guards were not qualified to enter the Divine Site Hall. Even if they discovered something, they could only watch or report back. The two of them had enough time to do whatever they wanted.
The six guards naturally didn't want the two of them to escape, but four of them couldn't go far from the entrance of the Divine Site Hall. They could only let two guards chase after them, and the two guards naturally couldn't catch up.
Just like before, the two guards quickly lost the two of them and could only helplessly return.
As for Chen Mo and Blackbeard, they had already found a safe place to observe the mysterious Divine Miracle Hall through their respective monitoring puppets.
…
The first part was even worse.
