The blood-colored ground rumbled, and a giant black and white monster appeared in front of them!
The monster was black and white, not blood-colored. However, in this eerie blood-colored land, it was even more conspicuous.
Shadow Toad!
A giant toad appeared on the ground in front of the ten people!
The Shadow Toad crawled on the ground in front of them, its bulging eyes staring coldly at the ten people. It was warning them that if they dared to take another step forward, it would attack!
"How strong is this guy?"
The Shadow Toad gave off an unusual pressure. This pressure was different from that of BOSSes, but it was enough to stop Duan Ren and the others from moving.
Chen Mo didn't know how strong the Shadow Toad was, or if it had any special abilities or skills, so he didn't dare to rashly approach it.
"I'm not sure. We only know that there is a monster guarding this place, but no one has mentioned its strength!"
Duan Ren and the others shook their heads.
There were only a few players in the Blood Clan who had seen the Blood Clan's forbidden land. The fact that news of the Abyss Region had spread was already considered good. As for the Shadow Toad under the Blood Poison Fruit Tree, not many people could come here and see it, let alone spread the news.
The players who could come here naturally didn't want others to come here, defeat the Shadow Toad, and obtain the Blood Poison Fruit.
If one less person obtained the Blood Poison Fruit, the advantage of the powerful Blood Clan players who already obtained the Blood Poison Fruit would be maintained.
"I'll send a pet over to take a look."
Seeing this, Chen Mo pondered for a moment before using the old method. He summoned a black bear and commanded it to test the Shadow Toad.
The black bear slowly walked towards the Shadow Toad, and very soon, it was within the toad's range.
However, the Shadow Toad seemed to look down on the black bear. It didn't attack until the black bear was more than ten meters away from it.
Chen Mo and the others could only wait patiently behind the toad.
Black Bear was only ten meters away from the Shadow Toad. At this moment, the Shadow Toad finally moved.
However, when Duan Ren and the others saw this, their hearts couldn't help but sink.
The Shadow Toad's eyes emitted a strange grayish-black light. Then, the black bear that was being stared at by the Shadow Toad stood dumbly on the spot, not moving an inch.
Obviously, the Shadow Toad had used some kind of control skill through its eyes to immobilize the black bear.
When the black bear couldn't move, the Shadow Toad stretched out its long and hard tongue and swept it at the black bear. two damage figures of over twenty thousand and close to thirty thousand appeared above the black bear's head, killing it.
Duan Ren and the others felt a chill run down their spines. Although their HP wasn't low, they could only take two hits from the Shadow Toad at most. A third hit would definitely kill them.
....................
Thinking of this, Duan Ren and the others felt their scalps go numb.
If the Shadow Toads didn't use AoE attacks, it would be fine. However, if they used AoE attacks, it would be impossible for them to keep dodging.
........ if Shadow Shadow Toad............................... they.....................
Even Chen Mo frowned slightly.
Previously, he could rely on his experience, rich skills, and extraordinary techniques to steadily pull the monster's aggro and let Duan Ren and the others deal damage.
However, this method was absolutely useless against the Shadow Toad. Not to mention a Hunter like him, even a Shield Knight couldn't guarantee victory.
In other words, facing the Shadow Toad's attack, Duan Ren and the others would most likely suffer losses this time. They couldn't be counted on. Chen Mo almost had to solo the Shadow Toad.
Chen Mo felt that his strength was already very good. If he returned to the historical ruins, he wouldn't be afraid even if he faced players with mechanical armors.
However, fighting an unknown opponent like the Shadow Toad, he didn't have much confidence.
"Not good!"
"Be careful, the probing just now seems to have provoked its aggro!"
In the distance, after killing the black bear, the Shadow Toad leaped up with its strong legs. Its huge black and white body fell heavily from the sky.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Loud noises were heard as the Shadow Toad's huge body rushed toward the ten people at an extremely fast speed.
The ten of them had originally planned to test the Shadow Toad a bit more to understand its abilities before making a move. However, they hadn't expected to draw the Shadow Toad's aggro to them with just one test.
The Shadow Toad's speed was astonishing. It was impossible to escape. It jumped a few times and was not far in front of the group.
Even if the ten people turned around and left, the Shadow Toad would only need a few seconds to catch up.
Hiss hiss hiss!
The Shadow Toad appeared beside the ten people. Its scarlet tongue flickered and made a hissing sound.
As soon as the hissing sound appeared, two people beside Piaopiao screamed and were instantly killed by the Shadow Toad.
"Too fast!"
Piaopiao was shocked. If he hadn't hurriedly dodged the Shadow Toad's attack, he would have died as well.
The Shadow Toad's attack speed far exceeded everyone's expectations. Its attack power was also so strong that it made people's hair stand on end.
When used together with its skills, its attack could easily kill a player.
Just now, its two tongue attacks dealt seventy to eighty thousand damage. Piaopiao's two companions were instantly killed.
"Dodge!"
Duan Ren shouted. However, his voice seemed to have attracted the Shadow Toad's attention. The Shadow Toad's tongue moved and turned into a red light, suddenly appearing in front of one of his companions.
This Blood Clan player wanted to dodge, but it was useless. The scarlet tongue still curled around his body and he was instantly killed by the Shadow Toad.
"Too strong!
How did Tu Rong and the others get past it? "
Duan Ren couldn't understand how the Shadow Toad's attack power was so abnormal.
Tu Rong was one of the strongest people in the Blood Clan. His strength was one level higher than Duan Ren's group. However, Duan Ren was sure that even if Tu Rong and the others were to face the Shadow Toad, they wouldn't have any hope of winning.
Not to mention winning, even escaping from the Shadow Toad would be a problem.
The difficulty of the Abyss Region was far higher than the legends!
Only now did Duan Ren understand why Tu Rong and the others were willing to share the information about the Abyss Region's earlier stages. However, they didn't mention anything about the Shadow Toad.
If someone were to follow their information and find the Blood Poison Fruit, only death would await them if they were to face the Shadow Toad!
Tu Rong and the others didn't share the information out of kindness. They purposely wanted them to lose their patience and come here to die!
"No, we can't block it!"
"Brother Silent, we can't block it anymore. You be careful!"
After barely dodging the Shadow Toad's attack, Duan Ren and the others knew that if the Shadow Toad attacked them again, they would most likely be killed by the Shadow Toad.
The Shadow Toad was too strong. Duan Ren didn't know how Tu Rong and the others got around the Shadow Toad to obtain the Blood Poison Fruit. However, it was impossible for them to obtain the Blood Poison Fruit.
Even if Chen Mo was at the side, it was still the same.
Chen Mo's movements were seen by them. Although Chen Mo wasn't like them and could still dodge the Shadow Toad's attacks, just dodging the attacks was already using his full strength. It was simply impossible for him to kill the Shadow Toad with an attack.
Chen Mo wasn't able to hold the Shadow Toad's aggro. If the Shadow Toad attacked them, they would die very quickly.
In the blink of an eye, three out of nine people were killed. Duan Ren, Feng Piaopiao, and the others couldn't hold themselves back any longer. They shouted at Chen Mo.
Then, with a tacit understanding, they abandoned the Shadow Toad and rushed toward the Blood Poisonous Fruit.
Since they were going to die anyway, they might as well rush to the Blood Poison Fruit tree and see if there was a chance to obtain a Blood Poison Fruit.
The Blood Poison Fruit was magical. Each person could only pick one and couldn't trade it. If they couldn't pick it themselves, they would never have the chance to use the Blood Poison Fruit.
The Blood Poison Fruit was right in front of their eyes and death was right beside them. No matter what, they had to try at this critical moment.
"Let's go!"
Seeing this, Chen Mo also moved, rushing toward the Blood Poison Fruit tree.
He didn't blame Duan Ren and the others. If it were him, he would also do the same. He would try before he was killed.
However, he wouldn't be kind enough to delay the Shadow Toad and create an opportunity for Duan Ren and the others.
The Shadow Toad's strength was also beyond Chen Mo's expectation. Chen Mo knew that it would be extremely difficult for him to kill the Shadow Toad. If he didn't kill the Shadow Toad and wanted to obtain the Blood Poison Fruit, he could only take advantage of the fact that everyone was distracted to have a chance to obtain the Blood Poison Fruit.
When he was alone and the Shadow Toad's attention was focused on him, the chances of him obtaining the Blood Poison Fruit would be much smaller.
Chen Mo's speed was undoubtedly the fastest among the group. Although Duan Ren, Feng Piaopiao, and the others moved first, Chen Mo caught up to them in a few breaths' time.
However, the Shadow Toad behind them was even faster. Before they could get far, the Shadow Toad had already jumped to their sides and killed them in an instant. One of them was an extremely powerful left-hander.
Five out of ten people died in the blink of an eye, but the Shadow Toad's speed didn't slow down. With another jump, it arrived behind Chen Mo, Duan Ren, and the others.
"Golden Seal!"
"Blue Dragon Strike!"
This time, the Shadow Toad's attack would most likely kill Duan Ren and the others, but Chen Mo knew that once Duan Ren and the others died, he would be left to deal with the Shadow Toad.
Therefore, he decided to take action. Otherwise, if Duan Ren and the others died, he wouldn't have a chance.
The Golden Seal and Blue Dragon Strike struck the Shadow Toad head-on, causing its rapid movement to come to a halt.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, Chen Mo, Duan Ren, and the others rushed out and were not far away from the Blood Poison Fruit.
"Not good, there's a trap!"
It seemed like victory was in sight, but when Duan Ren and the others stepped on the ground in front of them, the ground suddenly changed!
… …
The second change was even worse.
