"Let's go!"
The group called out and dashed towards the Blood Poison Fruit Tree's roots.
"Not good, this guy's speed is even faster!"
However, they didn't get far before their faces sank.
In the ancient forbidden space, the Shadow Toad's speed actually increased a little.
At the end of the hall, the Blood Poisonous Fruit Tree's roots extended into a narrow tunnel. As long as they could enter the tunnel, the Shadow Toad wouldn't be able to continue chasing after them.
However, in the current situation, the Shadow Toad would catch up to them before they could reach the passage.
Chen Mo had successfully stopped the Shadow Toad with the Golden Mark and Azure Dragon Strike. However, the sea spear hadn't recovered yet, so Chen Mo couldn't use the sea spear to attack it.
If he couldn't use the sea spear, he could only use the crossbow.
However, the crossbow's attack range was only ten meters. Moreover, the crossbow's impact was very weak. The Golden Mark's effect was also very weak. It couldn't stop the Shadow Toad at all.
"I'll stop it. You guys take the opportunity to escape!"
Duan Ren's companion was the weakest. He was running at the back. He knew that he had no chance of escaping, so he gritted his teeth and said to Duan Ren and the others.
"Good brother!"
Duan Ren couldn't help but feel warm in his heart. Feng Piaopiao couldn't help but look at Duan Ren with envy.
Such a companion was hard to find. Feng Piaopiao wasn't sure if his companions would do the same if they were in the same situation.
"Damn monster, stop right there!"
Duan Ren's companion was a Warrior. He used some kind of rare scroll and his body glowed red. Then, he turned around and took the initiative to charge at the Shadow Toad.
"You have a good brother." Chen Mo glanced at the Blood Clan player and said to Duan Ren.
Although Duan Ren and the others were in danger, Chen Mo was still confident that he could safely enter the tunnel before the Shadow Toad caught up to them.
Blood Shadow Teleportation, Gold Coin Flash, Space Phantom, Space Tear. He actually had a lot of skills at his disposal.
"That's right!" Duan Ren nodded vigorously.
Broken Blade's companion intercepted the Shadow Toad from behind. The Shadow Toad coldly attacked him. Previously, its attacks could insta-kill players, but now, after Broken Blade's companion used a magic scroll, the Shadow Toad's first attack failed to kill him.
It wasn't until the shadow toad's second attack that the vampire warrior fell to the ground and died.
There was only a gap of one attack, but the Shadow Toad's speed was greatly reduced, giving Duan Ren and the others the opportunity to escape.
Boom!
After killing the vampire warrior, the Shadow Toad chased after them again. When the rest of them rushed into the tunnel, it still didn't give up and crashed into them. In the end, it crashed into the hard stone wall with a bang.
Even so, the Shadow Toad didn't give up on attacking them. It stuck out its scarlet tongue, reaching more than twenty meters into the tunnel and stirring wildly. It wanted to kill Duan Ren, Chen Mo, and the others.
The Shadow Toad's attack was out of everyone's expectations. If Chen Mo hadn't reacted quickly and summoned a black bear pet to block in front of him, Duan Ren and Feng Piaopiao wouldn't have been able to react in time and would have been killed by the Shadow Toad.
"Thank you, brother."
Duan Ren and Feng Piaopiao said with lingering fear after they walked more than thirty meters into the tunnel and were completely safe.
"It's fine." Chen Mo waved his hand.
Out of the ten people, only four were left. If they died at this rate, he would be the only one left. Chen Mo would naturally save as many as he could.
Even if he helped just now, if Duan Ren and Feng Piaopiao couldn't react in time, they would still die. After all, the black bear pet had only blocked one attack for them.
"Let's go, find the Blood Poison Fruit Tree inside the Ancient Forbidden Land space and get the Blood Poison Fruit."
Chen Mo waved his hand and said to the others.
Among the four of them, he was undoubtedly the strongest. Previously, on the surface and just now, he had saved Duan Ren and the others. Therefore, Duan Ren and the others didn't have any objections to Chen Mo's words.
"I wonder what kind of monsters are inside the Ancient Forbidden Land space."
Duan Ren looked around anxiously while following behind Chen Mo.
Beside them was a huge ancient tree root that was more than a meter thick. This root was covered in a thick layer of blood-colored dust. The Blood Poison Fruit Tree's root took up one-third of the tunnel's width. It was unlikely that there would be a monster like the Shadow Toad here. However, after experiencing the Shadow Toad's continuous pursuit, Duan Ren and the others were traumatized by the monsters in the Abyss Region.
"It's best if there are no monsters." Feng Piaopiao couldn't help saying. He wasn't any better than Duan Ren.
"Is that possible? No matter how I think about it, it's impossible. This is the legendary Ancient Forbidden Land space, how can there be no monsters?!" Duan Ren looked at Feng Piaopiao with disdain.
Rustle …
Just as Duan Ren said those words, a series of rustling noises came from the tunnel in front of them. Several blood-colored monsters appeared in the air.
"You jinx!" Feng Piaopiao couldn't help saying coldly to Duan Ren.
Duan Ren looked at the monsters that appeared in the tunnel. Moreover, there were several of them at once. He felt like crying.
Why did he have to curse himself for no reason? He couldn't be any more stupid!
"Be careful, they seem to be Blood Bats. They're hard to deal with."
Chen Mo looked at the several figures that appeared in the air and reminded them.
The Ancient Forbidden Land space was an underground space. Although it wasn't completely dark, the lighting was still incomparable to the outside.
In the dark tunnel, several Blood Bats appeared. These Blood Bats weren't small, each of them was the size of a basketball.
For a bat, a bat of this size was quite astonishing.
The rustling noises were made by the Blood Bats. When they saw Chen Mo's group of four, a strange light of excitement flashed in the eyes of the Blood Bats. Then, all of them pounced on the four of them.
The number of Blood Bats was exactly four. Four Blood Bats, one for each person, pounced on the four of them.
Innate talent awakening!
Facing unknown monsters, Duan Ren, Feng Piaopiao, and Feng Piaopiao used their innate talent awakening without hesitation.
They were already scared of the Shadow Toad. They were worried that they would be killed by the Blood Bats if they weren't careful.
Rather than that, they might as well use their innate talent awakening to fight the Blood Bats.
The tunnel wasn't big, and they could foresee that the rest of the way would be filled with these Blood Bats. As long as they could find a way to deal with the Blood Bats, they wouldn't need to rely on their innate talent to deal with the Blood Bats.
"Join my team!"
Chen Mo looked at the strange eyes of the Blood Bats and suddenly said. He quickly pulled Duan Ren, Feng Piaopiao, and Feng Piaopiao into his team.
Duan Ren, Feng Piaopiao, and Feng Piaopiao didn't think too much about it.
If they were in the same team, at least they wouldn't have to worry about attacking each other.
"Little brat, go to hell!"
Following that, Duan Ren's figure moved. He charged toward the Blood Bats in front of him, wanting to attack them.
However, at this time, the four Blood Bats suddenly stopped moving. Their flesh-colored wings flapped rapidly, and an even faster muffled sound reverberated through the tunnel.
Hearing this muffled sound, the four people, including Chen Mo, suddenly felt their bodies become heavier. Their speed suddenly slowed down.
"Their HP is very low, only ten thousand!
But … damn it, why is my speed so slow? It's like I'm in slow motion. I can't hit them at all! "
Duan Ren felt that his speed was getting slower and slower. He threw out a detection skill, but the result was that the Blood Bats' HP was extremely low.
However, the problem was that these Blood Bats could vibrate and attack like ultrasonic waves, slowing down their movements.
"Not good!"
Then, a trace of killing intent flashed in the eyes of the Blood Bats. They flapped their wings and suddenly attacked the four people.
The claws of the Blood Bats were extremely sharp. If one was hit by them, the damage would be no joke!
This could be seen from the fact that the Blood Bats only had ten thousand HP.
In the Blood Clan's forbidden land, which monster's HP didn't start at ten thousand?
A mere ten thousand HP was nothing in the outside world, not to mention the Blood Clan's forbidden land.
The Blood Bats' attack power was probably more terrifying than the Shadow Toad's!
This feeling rose in the hearts of the four people, and they knew that this feeling was most likely very accurate.
If they were hit by the Blood Bats, they would be killed instantly!
However, with their current pitiful speed, it was impossible for them to dodge the Blood Bats' attack!
"Eternal Light!"
At this critical juncture, Chen Mo suddenly shouted softly.
A gentle white light instantly enveloped the four people. Duan Ren and the others suddenly realized that their speed had recovered.
"Die!"
They were all experts. Without thinking, their figures flashed, dodging the Blood Bats' attack and attacking at the same time, killing the Blood Bats in one hit.
The four blood-red bats let out a squeak and were instantly killed by the four people.
"Damn it, we almost died again!"
Duan Ren looked at the Blood Bats' corpses with lingering fear and couldn't help but say.
After entering the Abyss region, they had almost died several times. If it weren't for Chen Mo, who knew how many times they would've died.
Outside the Blood Clan's forbidden land, with their strength, it wasn't easy to die even if they wanted to. But inside the Abyss region, it was hard for them not to die even if they wanted to.
"Let's go, be careful. If we see any Blood Bats later, stay away from them and kill them before they activate their skills."
The Blood Bats had powerful control abilities and abnormal attack power, but their HP was low. As long as they didn't get close, it wasn't difficult to kill them with long-range attacks.
"Okay."
The four people carefully continued on their journey. Fortunately, there were no more difficult monsters in the passage. They were all Blood Bats.
With a way to deal with them, the Blood Bats could only delay them for a little bit.
Finally, after more than an hour, the four people followed the Blood Poison Fruit Tree's roots and arrived at a spacious cave.
… …
Fourth Step.
