After returning to Katarina, Chen Mo went to the Sky Tree's location.
Chen Mo had already marked out a forbidden zone in the area where the Sky Tree grew.
As the Sky Tree grew, its power grew stronger and stronger. Players who were around the Sky Tree could almost fly off the ground.
This was simply unthinkable. If others were to find out about this, who knew how many people would try to spy on the Sky Tree? If someone with ill intentions appeared, the Sky Tree might even be destroyed.
The Sky Tree was extremely important to Chen Mo. Whether or not he could protect Katarina's territory depended on the Sky Tree. He didn't want the Sky Tree to die before it had a chance to grow.
Chen Mo had already ordered two guards to stand guard around the Sky Tree, preventing anyone from approaching.
After returning, Chen Mo took advantage of the darkness to approach the Sky Tree.
Under the Sky Tree, Chen Mo suddenly felt as if he could soar into the sky.
However, Chen Mo didn't immerse himself in the feeling. First, he took out the Sacred Water he had exchanged for and poured it over the Sky Tree's roots.
System Notice: The Sky Tree has received some Sacred Power!
Chen Mo was very satisfied when he saw the system notice. With this Sacred Power, the Sky Tree would have some protection. At the very least, it wouldn't die for no reason.
Afterwards, Chen Mo took out a large bottle of Fairy Spring Water and poured it over the Sky Tree.
However, he didn't pour it all at once. Instead, he poured a portion first and waited for the Sky Tree to absorb it before continuing.
The Sky Tree was extremely thirsty for Fairy Spring Water. No matter how much Chen Mo poured, the Sky Tree would quickly absorb it.
Fortunately, the Elf Queen had given him quite a bit of Fairy Spring Water. After Chen Mo emptied the Fairy Spring Water, the Sky Tree's absorption rate slowed significantly.
After absorbing so much Fairy Spring Water, the Sky Tree's leaves seemed to glow with even more vitality. Standing under the Sky Tree, Chen Mo also felt his body become lighter.
The Sky Tree's power was increasing!
Even without looking at its stats, Chen Mo could feel it.
"Let's hope it's not too late."
There were still more than ten days before the third wave of monsters attacked the city. Whether or not Katrin's territory would be able to obtain the Orb depended on the Sky Tree.
Chen Mo heaved a sigh of relief after doing everything he could. Then, he logged onto the game forums.
All the NPCs, including all the players, were about to undergo the Great Migration. This had already been decided on the forums.
All players can now head to Prague and obtain the map. After that, they can head to the western continent.
At the western edge of the continent, players would reach the Sacred Waters. After passing through the Sacred Waters, they would reach the Sacred Continent.
The Sacred Sea was massive. With players' strength, it was impossible for them to traverse the Sacred Sea. However, the Sacred Continent's side had dispatched massive ships to ferry players to the Sacred Continent.
Players who wanted to travel to the Holy Continent had to reach the Holy Sea within ten days and board the ships of the Holy Continent. If they were late, they would have to find their own way to cross the Holy Sea.
However, before that, these players would have to face the third wave of monsters.
Katrin's territory was already packed with players. Now that the news had spread, the number of players in Katrin's territory was decreasing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
It was not easy for low-level players to cross the continent and reach the Sacred Sea. Of course, they had to reach Prague as soon as possible and follow the player army. Only then could they safely reach the Sacred Sea and board the ships of the Sacred Continent.
Abandoning their original continent and going to a new continent was something that most NPCs did not want to do.
However, the players did not have such feelings. Most of them were even very excited and looked forward to the Sacred Continent. At the same time, their hearts were filled with ambition. They wanted to make a name for themselves after reaching the Sacred Continent.
On the forums, a large number of low-level players formed groups to travel to Prague. There were even groups that charged fees to ensure that there would be no danger on the road. Prague was no exception. There were quite a few groups like this.
Sure enough, no matter the time, there would always be a way to make money. Chen Mo couldn't help but sigh in amazement when he saw this.
The number of players in Katrin's territory was decreasing rapidly. Even most of the NPCs chose to leave. The population of Katrin's territory had reached an extremely high value, but it was inevitable that it would decrease by a lot.
However, Chen Mo did not care. As long as he could protect Katrin's territory, he would not have to worry about population issues in the future.
After confirming some information on the forums, Chen Mo returned to the game.
He once again left Katrin and went to the seaside where East Sea Castle used to be. However, East Sea Castle was no longer here. East Sea Castle had been razed to the ground.
Chen Mo went out of the sea alone and swam towards Sky Sea City.
It was not that he did not want to use skills, but that he could not use skills.
It was not difficult for Chen Mo to guess the reason. Sky Sea City had been destroyed, so he could not use teleportation skills to directly teleport to Sky Sea City.
In fact, when the first wave of monsters had finished attacking, the option to teleport to Sky Sea City had disappeared. Sky Sea City and East Sea City were about the same size. If East Sea City could not survive the first wave of monsters, then Sky Sea City would not be able to escape either.
If he could not teleport and could only swim to Sky Sea City, even with Chen Mo's current speed, it would take Chen Mo almost a day to reach Sky Sea City.
After the first wave of monsters had finished attacking Sky Sea City, Chen Mo had to face the Expedition Quest. He did not have so much time.
Therefore, even though he was worried about Hai Ruo 'ou and Hai Weila, he could not take the time to go to Sky Sea City to confirm.
However, both Hai Ruo 'ou and Hai Weila were proficient in swimming. Even if Sky Sea City was destroyed, their lives would not be in danger.
Now that the second wave of monsters had finished attacking Sky Sea City, and the third wave was about to end, everyone would be migrating. Only then did Chen Mo have the time to go to Sky Sea City to take a look.
Even though it would be a wasted trip, Chen Mo still decided to spend two days to make the trip.
In the deep sea, Chen Mo swam for almost a day before he arrived at the island where Sky Sea City was located.
When he came ashore, the entire huge island was quiet. Chen Mo did not hear any sound.
When he arrived at Sky Sea City, Chen Mo saw the ruins of a large building.
The entire Sky Sea City had been razed to the ground. The Sea Tribe's Imperial Palace had also been destroyed by gigantic abyssal monsters.
The players in Sky Sea City were all gone. The NPCs were also nowhere to be seen.
Come to think of it, after the first wave of monsters had ended and Sky Sea City was destroyed, they had all left for the Sea Tribe's Advanced City.
Chen Mo had never been to the Sea Tribe's Advanced City. He did not even know where it was located. Standing in the ruins of Sky Sea City, Chen Mo could only shake his head slightly.
After separating from Hai Ruo 'ou and Hai Weila this time, he did not know when he would see them again.
However, they should have migrated to the Holy Continent. When the time came, it would not be difficult to meet them on the same continent.
After confirming that there were no traces left in the surroundings, Chen Mo used the Teleportation Skill and directly teleported back to Katarin.
In the next few days, the number of players and NPCs in Katarin's territory rapidly decreased. The entire Katarin's territory seemed to have ushered in the apocalypse. Everywhere was desolate and deserted.
Even the NPC guards resigned from their jobs one by one and ran to Prague to migrate with the large group.
Chen Mo was not unhappy about this at all. On the contrary, the players and NPCs leaving without restraint was exactly what he wanted.
After drinking a large amount of Elven Spring Water, the Sky Tree's growth speed had obviously increased. It was growing at an astonishing speed like before.
The growth of the Sky Tree had changed from the "Growth Period" to the "High Growth Period". The coverage of the roots had also reached a "High Growth Period". However, Chen Mo knew that this had very little to do with Katarin's territory. If it were a large city like Prague, it would definitely not reach a "High Growth Period".
The Sky Tree's accumulation of power had reached 70%.
However, according to Chen Mo's estimation, this 70% value was different from the initial 70% value.
As the Sky Tree grew stronger, the accumulated power of the Sky Tree would also increase. In other words, the capacity of the Sky Tree would also increase.
In this regard, Chen Mo had occasionally seen the accumulation of power of the Sky Tree. There were even times when the power of the Sky Tree would regress.
It would regress because the Sky Tree's growth speed was too fast. As its capacity increased, the speed of accumulating power could not keep up. In fact, it was actually the proportion of increasing power that decreased, resulting in the regress.
Now, 70% of the Sky Tree's power, Chen Mo was certain that it was more than the initial 100%.
With such a huge discovery, the overall evaluation of Katarin's floating ability had finally changed significantly. It had changed from "Low" to "Barely Feasible".
However, Chen Mo knew that the "Barely Feasible" status would at most allow Katarin to float for a few hours. It would not allow Katarin to resist the third wave of monsters.
However, in reality, Chen Mo had never thought of letting Katarin resist the third wave of monsters.
In the second wave of monsters, the shadows of a few flying abyssal monsters had already appeared occasionally.
Flying abyssal monsters were extremely difficult to deal with. Chen Mo could imagine that in the third wave of monsters, the number of flying abyssal monsters would probably be even higher. Relying on the city's floating system to avoid the third wave of monsters would not work.
Therefore, Chen Mo's solution was not to let the Sky Tree carry Katarin in the air to avoid the third wave of monsters. He asked for Enoch and Fatira's opinion. After studying the location of the Sacred Ocean and the Sacred Continent, he decided to use another method.
In the blink of an eye, another two days had passed. Prague's migration team had already started to set off for the Sacred Ocean. In Katarin's territory, there were naturally no players. The number of NPCs was also pitifully small. Only Fatira and Enoch were left.
In the empty territory, the figures of puppets could be seen bustling about.
…
The third wave was even more intense.
