However, to Chen Mo, the only effect of being an honorary guest was a 20% increase in the quest reward. The rest was of little use to him.
The little Warrior beside him looked at the 20% increase in the quest reward and couldn't help but consider whether he should do some quests in the Gray Wing Kingdom.
A 20% increase in the quest reward. If it was a quest with EXP reward, it would be very useful.
The rewards given by the Gray Wing Kingdom were very generous. Chen Mo wasn't dissatisfied with these rewards. The only thing that Chen Mo felt was that there was no EXP reward for this quest. Otherwise, with the reward of two levels, he could reach Level 60 in one go and equip the Gray-feathered Crossbow and the Great Shaman's Necklace.
The Gray-feathered Crossbow was a crossbow weapon. Although the additional effect was good, Chen Mo's chances of using it were getting less and less. Even if he equipped the Gray-feathered Crossbow, Chen Mo's combat strength wouldn't increase by much.
However, the Great Shaman's Necklace was different. The Great Shaman's Necklace had amazing attributes and could be used to form a Follower Contract.
Like today, if Chen Mo had formed a Follower Contract with Big Fatty, he wouldn't have to be blackmailed by that guy Totoro.
With Big Fatty around, even if Totoro didn't make a move, Chen Mo could still deal with Yale.
"Respected adventurers, tomorrow night, the Gray Wing Kingdom will be holding a celebration party. Adventurers, please be sure to attend!
Thanks to the efforts of a few adventurers, the wings of our clan can regain their freedom! "
Following that, King Plain invited the four of them to attend the celebration party tomorrow.
Being invited by an NPC was often accompanied by special events. Of course, the four of them wouldn't miss it.
It wasn't easy to come to Gray Wing City. Now that they had completed the quest and received a huge reward, they were in no hurry to leave.
Tomorrow, they would have a good time in Gray Wing City. Then, they would attend the celebration party at night. Who knows, they might encounter some special quests.
"Okay, we'll definitely go!"
After accepting King Plain's invitation, Chen Mo and the others left the kingdom.
The four of them didn't stay in Gray Wing City. Instead, they quietly left the city and went to a deserted wilderness.
The four of them were in a hurry to come to the wilderness. Naturally, they wanted to try out the Flight Technique and Flight Combat Technique they had just learned.
The four of them equipped the grey wings on their backs. Immediately, the four of them turned into birdmen with a pair of grey wings on their backs.
However, what made the four of them a little dissatisfied was that the wings were a little too small and did not look domineering at all.
Within the instance dungeon, the appearance of the Angel Puppets flapping their wings was quite domineering.
"As expected, the wings are too small, and the flying speed is not fast!"
The Blood Paladin was the first to flap his wings and fly into the sky.
After flying for a short distance, he could clearly feel the limitations of the gray wings.
The size of one's wings would undoubtedly affect one's flying speed. If one's wings were too small, their flying speed would naturally not be as fast as a player's Movement Speed.
"I don't know where I can get better wings. I don't know if the Celestial Race has better ones," the Blood Paladin said regretfully.
If the flying speed was not fast and could not compare to the movement speed, the effect would be greatly reduced.
"It's not completely useless. Although flying in the air isn't as fast as moving, moving on the ground with wings can increase my speed by more than 10%!"
However, the Wild Panther Girl said as she moved with the wings on the ground.
If they did not fly off the ground and used the wings to help them move, their speed would increase by 10%!
Don't underestimate a 10% increase in Movement Speed. When running, the difference between 10% more and 10% less would be very obvious.
Especially since Movement Speed was the hardest attribute to increase in the game. If one wanted to increase Movement Speed, they could only rely on shoes. However, shoes could only increase Movement Speed by a little.
The 10% increase in Movement Speed from the wings would allow them to run faster than most players in the game.
Chen Mo was also trying out the effects of the wings on the side. He had also noticed the effects and characteristics of the wings that the Blood Paladin and the Wild Panther Girl had mentioned.
Whether it was the flying speed in the air or the additional Movement Speed on the ground, it was undoubtedly related to the wings.
The better the wings, the faster the flying speed in the air and the more the Movement Speed on the ground.
The Blood Paladin did not know where to find better wings, but Chen Mo immediately thought of the Azure Angel Wings that were sealed in the underground ruins outside of Katrin's territory.
If he could get his hands on the Azure Angel Wings and equip them, his flying speed would be terrifying and his Movement Speed on the ground would increase tremendously.
The Azure Angel Wings was a rare item that even the Angels were looking for. Its effects would not be too weak.
Chen Mo was very tempted by the Azure Angel Wings. Unfortunately, the Azure Angel Wings were mixed with the Imperishable Crystal. If he did not get rid of the Imperishable Crystal, he would not be able to get his hands on the Azure Angel Wings.
At the moment, he did not have a way to quickly get rid of the Imperishable Crystal. If he let Fatira slowly extract the Imperishable Crystal, he did not know how long it would take.
After testing out the Flight Skills and Flight Tactics, the few of them naturally had to test and familiarize themselves with them.
After that, the four of them had nothing to do. They focused on using the Flight Skills, Flight Combat Skills, and wings in the wild to practice with each other.
The four of them were all experts. It did not take them much time to get a general idea of the new wing equipment and Flight Skills they had just obtained.
After spending half a day in the wild, the four of them returned to Gray Feather City.
It was already nighttime in the game. However, Gray Feather City was brightly lit, and it was full of joy.
There were more than 10,000 players who came to Gray Feather City to complete missions. Many of them left Gray Feather City directly after failing their missions.
However, there were also many people who stayed after seeing the joyous scene in Gray Feather City. They wanted to try their luck and see if they could receive other missions in Gray Feather City.
The four of them rested for a night. Soon, it was the next day.
During the day, the four of them walked around Gray Feather City carefully, admiring the scenery of Gray Feather City.
The effect of being called an honorary guest was also in effect. Wherever the four of them went, the NPCs of Gray Feather City were extremely respectful to them.
"It's almost time. Let's go back and prepare. We'll go to the palace to attend the banquet!"
After walking around for half a day, they had seen everything that they needed to see in Gray Feather City. The four of them prepared to attend the banquet of the Gray Feather Kingdom that night.
"Clang!"
"Clang!"
"Clang!"
…
Just as the four of them were walking toward the Gray Feather Palace, the entire Gray Feather City suddenly rang with the sound of a gong.
The prelude to the banquet?
No!
The sound was very urgent. It was the sound of an alarm!
Under the sound of the alarm, the NPCs in Gray Feather City, who were originally in a joyous atmosphere, all looked solemn. They took out their bows and other weapons from their houses and quickly gathered in the city.
Nord was in front of these NPCs, giving orders. After he gathered a group of NPCs, he quickly led hundreds of NPCs and rushed to the front of Gray Feather City.
"Boom!
Boom!
Boom! "
When the players who had not retreated saw this scene, they knew that something big had happened in Gray Feather City.
Many of them were energized. They followed Nord out of Gray Feather City and came to the front of Gray Feather City.
Chen Mo and the other three were naturally the same. They also wanted to know what kind of problem Gray Feather City had encountered.
Not long after they came out, a series of muffled rumbles could be heard coming from the distance.
Not long after the sounds came, huge mounts appeared in front of them.
War Mounts, Iron-Horn Beasts!
Each Iron-Horn Beast was 20 to 30 meters long. On their backs, there were huge catapults!
"Huaisha Country, what is the meaning of this?
Why are you invading our Gray Feather Kingdom?
You have violated the original agreement! "
Nord looked at the Iron-Armored Beasts in front of him and shouted in a deep voice.
Huaisha Country?
Chen Mo heard this and had a thought.
He had heard of the famous Huaisha Country from Kent.
Huaisha Country was one of the few big countries that had defeated the Gray Feather Kingdom.
After defeating the Gray Feather Kingdom, Huaisha Country received a large amount of war reparations from the Gray Feather Kingdom and became the most powerful country in the South Sacred Continent.
Huaisha Country and the Gray Feather Kingdom were neighbors to the west of the Gray Feather Kingdom. The Iron-Horn Beasts were the most powerful combat force in Huaisha Country.
The huge Iron-Horn Beasts not only allowed Huaisha Country to easily transport all kinds of heavy siege weapons, but they were also ferocious beasts with great destructive power. The Iron-Horn Beast army of Huaisha Country was invincible in the South Sacred Continent.
After paying a large amount of war reparations, Huaisha Country signed a treaty not to invade the Gray Feather Kingdom. However, more than a hundred years later, before the treaty was over, Huaisha Country broke the treaty and led the Iron-Armored Beast army to the capital of the Gray Feather Kingdom, Gray Feather City!
"Haha!
Nord, don't pretend to be confused!
The Gray Feather Kingdom spread the news everywhere and recruited a large number of adventurers with generous rewards. Isn't it to regain the sealed wings of your race?
If you had failed in the end, then so be it. We would have just watched the show.
But I didn't expect you to succeed. With the freedom of your race's wings restored, your Celestial Tribe will soon regain the ability to fly.
When that time comes, your Celestial Tribe will rise again. In the South Sacred Continent, no, even in the entire Sacred Continent, many people will be your opponents.
Once your Celestial Tribe rises again, it will not be good news for Huaisha Country. I don't believe that you won't retaliate against us after you have regained your power.
So, before you regain your power, we will of course eliminate you first! "
In front of the Iron-Horn Beast army of Huaisha Country, an old general looked at Nord and sneered.
…
Fourth Update.
