Once again, Chen Mo was led to the guest room to rest. During the night, Chen Mo ran out once more, hoping to eavesdrop on Ai Qinen's plans to deal with Katelyn.
However, after sneaking into the pavilion, Chen Mo did not discover Ai Qinen. Only Ai Qiner was there. Ai Qinen had run off somewhere to prepare.
Only Ai Qiner was left alone. After waiting for a while, the little lass did not react. Chen Mo did not know where Ai Qinen was, and the chances of him being discovered by others were quite high. After all, at night, the security of the royal family would be tighter. Chen Mo returned to the guest room and waited for the arrival of the next day.
Early the next morning, Ai Qinen invited Chen Mo over.
"Let's go!"
Ai Qinen had changed into a set of crimson battle armor. However, under this armor, her breasts were even more astonishing. Anyone who saw them could not help but want to grab them.
Beside Ai Qinen were over 30 silver-armored soldiers. Chen Mo stealthily inspected them and discovered that they were all Level 65. They were most likely the highest-leveled soldiers in the Aiqin Kingdom.
Ai Qinen had brought over 30 Level 65 soldiers to retrieve the treasure. It seemed she was determined to complete this task.
The treasure location Ai Qinen spoke of was not far from the Aiqin Kingdom's capital. After only half an hour of travel, Ai Qinen led the team to an ancient graveyard in the northern wilderness of the Aiqin Kingdom.
Before the graveyard was an ancient, grey-white stone gate. After approaching the graveyard, Ai Qinen had two robust soldiers step forward and push open the gate.
Seeing this, Chen Mo was speechless. This graveyard's gate was the most unsophisticated he had ever seen in the game. It did not even have the most basic magic array.
"Let's go in!"
Ai Qinen led the team into the graveyard.
From the outside, aside from the fact that the graveyard was large and ancient, there was nothing special about it. However, after entering the graveyard, Chen Mo discovered that the space inside the graveyard was a little too large.
After entering the graveyard, the first thing that appeared before them was a corridor that could accommodate several people. The walls on both sides of the corridor were decorated with intricate carvings and paintings, and oil lamps burned on the walls. With just a glance, one could tell that the cost of these carvings was extraordinary.
After walking along the corridor for a short while, the thirty plus people arrived at a huge circular hall.
Chen Mo didn't know what this hall used to be, but when he entered, he found that it was empty. Everything had been cleared out by the Ai Qin Royal Family.
It wasn't just the first hall. The halls that followed were each larger than the last, but there was nothing inside.
"Just how prodigal is the Aiqin Kingdom?"
Chen Mo couldn't help but sigh as he walked over.
Even if the items placed in the front hall weren't that valuable, the wealth of so many halls added together would still be quite huge.
However, even though the Ai Qin royal family had taken away so many treasures, the kingdom hadn't grown much stronger. Instead, it had become one of the weakest existences on the continent. It had been quite difficult for the Ai Qin royal family to achieve this.
However, soon, after passing through many large halls, the size and space of the halls began to shrink.
As the space became smaller, the number of people that could be accommodated and the space to hide also became smaller. Naturally, the difficulty of obtaining treasures for the Ai Qin royal family also increased.
"Let's stop for a moment. The room in front of us is where we will obtain treasures. In this room, there is a powerful Mountain Giant Protector. Last time, we were unable to defeat it.
This time, we will have to rely on the puppets to block its attacks and kill it! "
Ai Qin ordered the group to stop. As she spoke, she looked at Chen Mo, hinting for Chen Mo to take out the puppets first.
"Ahem, Miss Ai Qin, I feel that we should be a bit more careful in this treasure hunt. My strength is limited, so I can only control one puppet at a time. I don't know how long it will be able to block the Mountain Giant."
Chen Mo said after summoning a defensive puppet.
Players could only summon one puppet at a time. Facing a powerful Protector, Chen Mo didn't know how long the defensive puppet would be able to last.
"It doesn't matter. If the puppet dies, you can just summon another one. We can still fight for the time needed to summon it.
As long as we can hold on for a bit longer, we will be able to defeat the Protector of this room. "Ai Qin indifferently said.
Damn, it's easy for you to say that they aren't your puppets. These puppets are worth quite a bit!
Chen Mo fiercely despised Ai Qin in his heart. However, he knew that he couldn't trap the wolf without sacrificing the child. He would make the Aiqin Kingdom pay back double for the puppets destroyed by the Mountain Giant!
After Ai Qinen explained the battle plan, the group entered a large hall in front of them.
This hall was only half the size of the previous one. However, at the end of the hall, there were three dark gold treasure chests.
Only three dark gold treasure chests?
Chen Mo couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed.
It seemed that the Aiqin Kingdom was really poor. Before coming, he thought that there would be many treasures in this room. In the end, there were only three treasure chests.
A royal family coming to obtain treasures should have at least a dozen treasure chests to be worthy of their status!
Chen Mo once again despised the Aiqin Kingdom. At the same time, he commanded the defensive puppet to move forward.
"Roar!"
In the center of the hall, there was a petrified seven to eight meter tall Mountain Giant.
It was the guardian of the treasures in this room. Under normal circumstances, it would remain in a petrified state, allowing it to live for a longer period of time.
As the defensive puppet approached, the Mountain Giant immediately regained its ability to move. It let out an angry roar at the group.
The Mountain Giant was like a huge primitive man. Its body was made of hard rocks, and it held a large and hard wooden club in its hand.
Boom!
As the defensive puppet approached, the Mountain Giant swung its club down and struck the puppet's body.
The defensive puppet's own defense was very strong. However, when Chen Mo used it as an individual, its defensive capabilities were much weaker.
The Mountain Giant was a powerful Level 70 monster. Under its attack, the defensive puppet's HP was reduced by almost one-tenth!
"Attack!
The puppet won't last long! "
Seeing this, Chen Mo hurriedly shouted.
At this rate, a defensive puppet would only be able to withstand 12 to 13 attacks from the Mountain Giant before it was killed.
In that case, the defensive puppet's losses would be great.
There were very few defensive puppets left in Katrin. Almost all of them had been modified into semi-defensive puppets with offensive capabilities. Every one that died was one less puppet.
"Very good, that's enough!
Everyone, attack! Kill it! "
However, Aiqin En was very satisfied with the defensive puppet's capabilities.
The defensive capabilities of Chen Mo's defensive puppet far exceeded her expectations.
With such a powerful defensive puppet, they would definitely be able to defeat the Mountain Giant this time.
The Mountain Giant's strength lay in its fierce attacks. It was difficult to dodge in the small hall. As long as the Mountain Giant hit them a few times, the Aiqin Kingdom's soldiers would not be able to withstand its attacks.
And to the Mountain Giant, a few attacks were the easiest thing to do.
With Chen Mo's defensive puppet blocking the Mountain Giant's attacks, killing it would be much easier.
A group of soldiers immediately attacked the Mountain Giant.
One attack after another landed on the Mountain Giant's body, causing its health to drop rapidly.
These Level 65 silver-armored guards were all elites of the Aiqin Kingdom. Their attack power was not low.
Chen Mo did not step forward. He only needed to control the defensive puppet to block the Mountain Giant's attacks.
"Miss Aiqin, why didn't you bring in some priests? With them, the soldiers will be much safer."
After the battle began, Chen Mo discovered that there was not a single priest among the soldiers.
Although the Aiqin Kingdom was poor, it was not to the extent that they could not afford to raise a few priests.
"Hmph!
This ancient tomb is very special. The power of a Priest will have the opposite effect here. Any healing ability will become a curse-like damage ability in this place! "
Aiqin En said in annoyance.
If priests could enter, obtaining the treasure would not be a problem. But who knew what the ancestors of the Aiqin Kingdom were thinking to design this tomb so strangely.
"Pay attention to your puppets. If they die, summon them again as soon as possible!"
The Defensive Golem on the field had already lost one-fourth of its HP to the Mountain Giant while the two of them were talking. It would be killed by the Mountain Giant in a few more hits.
However, the defensive puppet did not die so quickly. After all, it was not a true Shield Knight. Its ability to pull aggro needed to be strengthened. The Mountain Giant would still occasionally attack the soldiers of the Aiqin Kingdom.
However, most of the Mountain Giant's attacks still landed on the fearless defensive puppets that were constantly approaching it.
Roughly a minute later, the defensive puppet was killed and turned into a pile of unrecoverable materials.
"Summon the puppets quickly. If you summon them a few more times, the Mountain Giant will be killed!"
When Ai Qinen saw this, he immediately urged.
By the time the puppets died, the Mountain Giant had already lost one-tenth of its health. It seemed that killing the Mountain Giant would not be difficult.
Chen Mo nodded and immediately summoned a second defensive puppet.
The second defensive puppet stepped forward and replaced the soldier that was being attacked by the Mountain Giant. However, in the short time that Chen Mo summoned the puppet, the Aiqin Kingdom's soldiers had already taken a lot of damage.
Moreover, in this ancient tomb, not only were healing skills useless, but even natural regeneration was also limited. The Aiqin Kingdom's soldiers' health regeneration was much slower than Chen Mo had expected.
Following this, the defensive puppets died one after another. After a few minutes, Chen Mo had already destroyed five defensive puppets.
However, Aiqin En was incomparably delighted. This was because the Mountain Giant's health had already fallen by nearly 70%.
At most, the Mountain Giant would be killed in three more minutes.
Once the Mountain Giant died, she would be able to obtain the treasures in the three dark gold treasure chests behind it.
…
The fourth time.
