After making his decision, Chen Mo asked the middle-aged Fallen Elf about the location of the Fallen Elf captives and rushed over.
However, before he left, Chen Mo went to the place where the Bloodthirsty Beastmen were imprisoned and discovered that there were indeed a dozen or so players waiting for enemies to arrive.
Looking at these players, Chen Mo felt a little more confident.
The place where the Bloodthirsty Beastmen were imprisoned was not only guarded by players, but also by Fallen Elf guards.
Of course, the players who could reach the eighth floor were not weak. These dozen or so players seemed to be quite strong, but they did not choose to rescue the Fallen Elves. Instead, they chose to stay here and wait for the players from the Bloodthirsty Beastmen's side.
However, looking at these people's anxious expressions, Chen Mo guessed that it had been a while since anyone had come. It was likely that the Bloodthirsty Beastmen's side was also in a similar situation.
After all, the truly powerful players had already thought of a way to complete the quest and reach the ninth floor.
It did not take long for Chen Mo to reach the place where the Fallen Elves were imprisoned.
At this point, Chen Mo finally understood why the players from the Fallen Elves' side would rather guard the Fallen Elves' side than come to rescue them.
The place where the Bloodthirsty Beastmen imprisoned the Fallen Elves was actually a vast and boundless desert. If someone came, the Bloodthirsty Beastmen in the watchtower would easily discover them. If one wanted to rescue the Fallen Elves, they would have to be prepared to become enemies with all the Bloodthirsty Beastmen and players here.
It was possible to sneak up on the Fallen Elves' side, but it was impossible to sneak up on the Bloodthirsty Beastmen 'side, unless one came alone like Chen Mo.
After Chen Mo got closer, he secretly observed and discovered that the twenty or so players from the Bloodthirsty Beastmen's side were also impatient.
The Bloodthirsty Beastmen's side was vast and open. It was impossible to sneak up on them, so they could effectively defend themselves.
However, the problem was that their defense was too good. No one came at all. If no one came, they would not be able to complete the quest.
"We can't keep waiting like this. Why don't we all go to the Fallen Elves' side and fight!
We have more people than the Fallen Elves. If everything goes well, we can all complete the mission at once! "
Some people were already impatient and began to discuss with the people around them.
"Hmph!
How could it be that simple? It's not like you haven't seen the archery skills of those Fallen Elves.
Don't think that the Fallen Elves' defenses aren't as tight as ours. Their field of vision isn't wide either, so they can sneak up on us.
But to tell you the truth, if you enter inside, unless you are not discovered by the Fallen Elves, once you are discovered, you will be surrounded like a dumpling with nowhere to run!
On our side, if we're fast, at least we have a chance to escape. As for the Fallen Elves, if they're discovered, they'll be dead for sure. Including the players guarding the area, they'll definitely die! "
However, this person's suggestion was immediately refuted.
"Then what should we do? If they don't come over, we won't go over either. How long will this stalemate last?
If the stalemate continued for a while longer, even if he completed the mission, it would probably be too late to reach the ninth floor.
From the seventh floor onwards, it's obvious that the later you enter, the more you'll be at a disadvantage. If we had arrived at the eighth floor earlier, we wouldn't be in such a dilemma now. "
Someone said in annoyance.
"And you're still thinking about the ninth floor? The eighth floor already gives a lot of points. It's already good enough that we can complete it.
I'll just stay here and see who's more patient. Giving up on the ninth floor and only taking the eighth floor's reward is better than being killed. "
Over at the Bloodthirsty Beastmen's area, the players who were waiting for them all had different opinions. In the end, the suggestion of going together to rescue the Fallen Elves was left undecided.
Chen Mo observed from the shadows for a while and also frowned.
Among the three options, the second option was the most direct. However, the second option was also the most dangerous.
There were a total of five Fallen Elves imprisoned here. The five Fallen Elves were imprisoned separately. Each Fallen Elf was imprisoned in a beast cage. These beast cages were all made of wood, but it would take a long time to destroy them. Even if he could quietly approach the beast cages, he would definitely be discovered before he could destroy them. He would then be besieged by the Bloodthirsty Beastmen and the players guarding the area.
Although he could still safely escape after being discovered, the first time he was discovered, they would be even more vigilant. It would be difficult to succeed again.
Chen Mo carefully observed the situation and discovered that the only way to rescue the Fallen Elves was to find the key to the beast cages.
After finding the key and opening the beast cages, even if he was discovered, Chen Mo was confident that he could delay the Bloodthirsty Beastmen and players here and let the Fallen Elves escape first.
After thinking about it, this seemed to be the only option.
Of course, there was another option, and that was to kill all the players and Bloodthirsty Beastmen here. That way, rescuing the Fallen Elves would be a piece of cake.
However, this idea only appeared in Chen Mo's mind for a moment before Chen Mo gave up on it.
The Bloodthirsty Beastmen guarding the area all had at least several million HP. There were six or seven of them. Even if Chen Mo was more powerful, he wouldn't be able to hold his own against seven Bloodthirsty Beastmen with several million HP and over twenty players working together.
If he could summon Black Phoenix or Big Fat, he could give it a try. However, he couldn't summon either of them right now.
Now that he had a plan, how was he supposed to obtain the key to unlock the cages?
After quietly circling the area, Chen Mo quickly made a new discovery.
The Bloodthirsty Beastmen and Fallen Elves here all needed to eat and drink. Meanwhile, the person in charge of cooking was a young Bloodthirsty Beastman.
Although this young Bloodthirsty Beastman's physique wasn't weak, he was still lacking compared to the other Bloodthirsty Beastmen. It was no wonder why he was in charge of cooking and not the others. By the looks of it, his combat power was the weakest among the Bloodthirsty Beastmen.
"Can you control him?"
Looking at the young Bloodthirsty Beastman cooking in the wooden house, Chen Mo quietly summoned Ghost Queen.
Although he needed to use his Detection Skill to determine the young Bloodthirsty Beastman's level, Ghost Queen didn't need to. Although she couldn't determine the young Bloodthirsty Beastman's level, she could immediately determine whether she could use her ability.
Chen Mo was currently Level 60. As long as the Bloodthirsty Beastman's level was below Level 60, Ghost Queen could use her ability to sneak attack and control the young Bloodthirsty Beastman.
"I can," Ghost Queen answered affirmatively as she looked at the young Bloodthirsty Beastman.
"Good."
Chen Mo was overjoyed. He immediately explained his battle plan to Ghost Queen. While listening, Ghost Queen nodded.
Inside the wooden house, the young Bloodthirsty Beastman was unaware that he had been targeted. He obediently cooked inside the house. By the time he sensed that something was amiss, it was already too late. Ghost Queen had already crept up behind him and abruptly activated her ability, taking control of his body.
The key wasn't on the young Bloodthirsty Beastman, but this wasn't a problem for Chen Mo. Chen Mo was already prepared. He had Ghost Queen control the young Bloodthirsty Beastman and find the middle-aged Bloodthirsty Beastman in charge of the key, asking him for the key.
He couldn't steal the key even if he wanted to, as he would definitely be discovered. Thus, Chen Mo chose to ask directly.
The cages imprisoning the Fallen Elves were very clean. It was clear that someone was in charge of cleaning. As for the person responsible for cleaning, Chen Mo guessed that it was most likely this young Bloodthirsty Beastman.
If that was the case, it wouldn't be strange for the young Bloodthirsty Beastman to ask for the key.
Even if his guess was wrong, Chen Mo had Ghost Queen come up with an excuse, saying that he was delivering food. It was unlikely that he would be suspected.
"Take it. Be careful, don't lose it!"
However, his guess was correct. When the young Bloodthirsty Beastman asked for the key, the middle-aged Bloodthirsty Beastman didn't doubt him and handed the key to the young Bloodthirsty Beastman.
Ghost Queen proudly returned with the key. Chen Mo immediately followed behind her and let Ghost Queen control the young Bloodthirsty Beastman. They arrived at the most remote cage imprisoning the Fallen Elves.
"Don't move first. I'm here to save you. Wait for me to unlock the other Fallen Elves' cages. Then, all of you can escape together."
After unlocking the cages, Ghost Queen followed Chen Mo's instructions and said to the Fallen Elves locked in the cages.
The Fallen Elves' eyes lit up and she hurriedly nodded.
Then, Ghost Queen controlled the young Bloodthirsty Beastman and unlocked the cages nearby. When the locks were put back, it looked like they were locked, but in fact, they were all unlocked.
Chen Mo did this to ensure that he could complete the task 100%. After all, he was releasing a Fallen Elves. The possibility of the Fallen Elves failing to escape was still not small.
However, by releasing five Fallen Elves at the same time, Chen Mo didn't believe that no Fallen Elves could escape!
"Who!"
All five cages were unlocked. However, when the fifth cage was opened, a player fiercely stared in the direction of the young Bloodthirsty Beastman and shouted angrily.
Sure enough, they were discovered!
Chen Mo wasn't surprised. The fifth cage was near the players. He chose to open it last because of this reason.
"Run!"
Chen Mo no longer hesitated and lightly shouted.
Then, the Fallen Elves in the five cages rushed out of the cages without hesitation.
“Shit！
The cages were opened?
When did this happen? "
The twenty or so Western players who were guarding the place were all stunned when they saw this.
"Don't just stand there, quickly stop them!"
Someone anxiously shouted.
However, more people looked in the direction of Chen Mo.
Since Ghost Queen was discovered, Chen Mo also revealed himself to attract the enemy's attention and give the Fallen Elves time to escape.
"Kill!"
Several people ignored the escaping Fallen Elves and charged toward Chen Mo.
It didn't matter to them whether the Fallen Elves escaped or not. As long as they killed the enemy, they would complete the task.
However, Chen Mo didn't bother with them. After attracting their attention, he moved and charged toward the enraged Bloodthirsty Beastman.
"Tito, you bastard, what are you doing?!"
Looking at the young Bloodthirsty Beastman, the rest of the Bloodthirsty Beastmen were furious.
However, Ghost Queen laughed and controlled the young Bloodthirsty Beastman to cooperate with Chen Mo to kill the Bloodthirsty Beastmen who wanted to stop the Fallen Elves from escaping.
