Whoosh!
The Thunder Beast carried Chen Mo and swam through the depths of the sea. After entering the Misty Island's territory, a group of fish-type sea beasts appeared in front of them, their eyes shining with cold light. There were about seven or eight of them.
Being surrounded by so many sea beasts at the bottom of the sea, a normal person would have to flee.
However, the Thunder Beast looked at these sea beasts with disdain. When these sea beasts swam closer, its body flashed and the group of sea beasts were struck by a huge lightning bolt. They were all paralyzed and could not move.
Then, the Thunder Beast led Chen Mo and swam into the Misty Island.
"There are indeed reefs everywhere."
Chen Mo entered the Misty Island from the bottom of the sea to verify Heiqi and the others' words. Not long after he entered, he saw a large number of sharp rocks protruding from the bottom of the sea. These reefs were connected to each other. No matter how experienced the helmsman was, it would be difficult to avoid them all.
As for the small boat, it would be surrounded by a large number of sea beasts.
Chen Mo and the Thunder Beast walked down and saw countless sea beasts.
The Thunder Beast was not afraid of these sea beasts. No matter how powerful the sea beasts were, they would not be immune to the lightning it released. They would be paralyzed for a short while.
However, Chen Mo was worried that the Thunder Beast would use up its lightning energy too quickly. With the Thunder Beast's speed, it could shake off those sea beasts without using lightning. Therefore, Chen Mo told the Thunder Beast not to use lightning attacks as much as possible and to only focus on moving forward.
There were no obstructions along the way. When they encountered some powerful sea beasts, the Thunder Beast was able to shake them off with its astonishing speed.
Chen Mo planned to let the Thunder Beast travel to the deepest part of the Misty Island. There must be a lot of good things in the deepest part of the Misty Island. After all, there were very few people who could reach the deepest part of the Misty Island.
However, Chen Mo's idea was too optimistic. Although the Thunder Beast was powerful, it was not omnipotent. The mysteries of the Misty Island and the Sea Eye were beyond Chen Mo's expectations.
After entering the Misty Island, the Thunder Beast had been moving at the bottom of the sea for about half an hour. Including the time it spent dodging the sea beasts along the way, it was only one-fourth of the way into the Misty Island at most. Then, the Thunder Beast's moving speed suddenly slowed down.
Facing the dark and gloomy sea ahead, the Thunder Beast began to hesitate.
"You won't be able to tell the direction if we go any further?"
Chen Mo and the Thunder Beast communicated, and the Thunder Beast immediately replied.
"Stay here and don't run around. If I don't come back after a while, you can go back to the territory yourself."
Not being able to identify the direction in the deep sea was a very dangerous thing, especially since the Thunder Beast was not his pet. Just like Big Fat, it would be gone once it died. Although Chen Mo had confidence in the Thunder Beast, he really did not dare to let the Thunder Beast go deeper into the Misty Island.
If he continued to go deeper and got lost in the deep sea, he could still directly teleport back to Katrin. Even if teleportation couldn't be used, at most, he would just die and return.
However, the Thunder Beast could not take this risk. Chen Mo thought about it and instructed the Thunder Beast to swim to the surface of the sea.
Without the Thunder Beast, Chen Mo did not dare to continue moving at the bottom of the sea. The sea beasts in the sea were not something he could get rid of at the bottom of the sea. If he was entangled by a large number of sea beasts, only death would await him.
The Thunder Beast sent Chen Mo to the side of an island above. Then, it whimpered and dived back into the deep sea.
"The visibility is really low."
He did not feel anything when he was outside or at the bottom of the sea. Now that he was inside the Misty Island, Chen Mo felt that what Heiqi and the others said was true.
There was thick white fog everywhere. When he stepped on this island, he could only see the scenery within seven to eight meters. He could not even see the silhouettes of the things further away.
"There seems to be a strange feeling in this Misty Island."
Chen Mo was not in a hurry to move forward. He closed his eyes and sensed carefully. He felt that the feeling inside the Misty Island was obviously different from outside.
Gravity … The gravity inside the Misty Island was different from outside.
In the game, gravity had always been ignored by players. However, here, Chen Mo felt that gravity was a very important factor that could not be ignored.
"Roar!"
Chen Mo moved forward. He had only taken a few steps when a black ape rushed out of the fog and pounced at him.
A Level 63 monster!
Chen Mo used Inspect and discovered that the ape monster was only Level 63. In the Misty Island, it should be considered a very low-level monster. It seemed that he had not ventured deep into the Misty Island. Otherwise, the monsters would not be this level. They should be at least Level 65.
"This ape monster's attributes are so high!"
Its level did not seem high. However, after fighting with the ape monster, Chen Mo discovered that this ape monster was much stronger than Level 65 monsters. It was comparable to Level 68 monsters.
"The experience is so high. It's double the experience of the Level 65 monsters outside!"
The ape monster was not weak. However, Chen Mo did not feel any pressure fighting it. After spending a little time, Chen Mo killed the ape monster.
However, after killing the ape monster, Chen Mo was surprised to discover that the experience of these monsters was ridiculously high!
In the Aiqin Kingdom, Chen Mo had been killing Level 65 monsters to level up. However, the ape monster in front of him gave double the experience of Level 65 monsters. This Misty Island was clearly a treasure trove for leveling up. Even if he came to the Misty Island and did not find anything else, he would not lose out this time!
If he leveled up here and killed monsters, it would not take long for him to reach Level 65 and equip the Undead Bone Dagger!
Continuing forward, Chen Mo consecutively killed several ape monsters that wanted to ambush him.
The ape monsters were no match for him. However, Chen Mo did not let down his guard.
The adventurer's letter mentioned that anyone who entered the Misty Island would die inexplicably.
Dying mysteriously? Chen Mo guessed that it was probably some kind of mental skill. Only mental skills could cause people to die mysteriously.
Since it involved mental skills, Chen Mo of course called out the Spirit Queen just in case.
With the Spirit Queen around, the possibility of him being controlled by mental skills would be greatly reduced.
"There doesn't seem to be any monsters with mental skills around here."
However, the Spirit Queen came out and looked around curiously. Then, she shook her head and said.
Monsters without mental skills?
Chen Mo felt strange. However, before he had any clues, it was useless to think too much. Chen Mo continued forward with the Spirit Queen.
"Mysterious Energy Essence Fruit?"
After a while, Chen Mo saw a fruit tree in front of him. There were some fruits on the fruit tree. Chen Mo approached and found that the fruit tree was actually a rare fruit tree.
Mysterious Energy Essence Fruit (Unripe): Unripe fruit. Cannot be picked.
Bred and grown by the mysterious energy on the Misty Island. After it matures, it can be picked. It can increase the user's attributes according to the degree of maturity.
"It seems to be a good thing to increase all attributes … However, this fruit seems to have been picked by someone?"
Chen Mo glanced at the attributes of the Mysterious Energy Essence Fruit and immediately knew that it was a good thing.
However, there was not a single ripe fruit on the entire fruit tree. Chen Mo glanced over and clearly noticed that the ripe fruits on the fruit tree seemed to have been picked by someone.
Since someone had taken the initiative to pick them, Chen Mo had no choice but to shake his head and continue forward.
There seemed to be a lot of this kind of fruit tree on the island. Chen Mo didn't walk far and encountered two more fruit trees in succession.
However, the ripe fruits on these fruit trees were all picked by someone first.
Moreover, on one of the fruit trees in Chen Mo, the fruit on the fruit tree seemed to have been plucked by someone not long ago. There were obvious signs of it being plucked!
"What are the people in front doing? Someone has broken in here and there is no alarm!"
While Chen Mo was observing the fruit tree, several figures appeared in the fog behind him.
Under the cover of the fog, Chen Mo couldn't see these figures at all. However, these people could see Chen Mo in the fog.
Looking at Chen Mo who was observing the fruit tree, one of the people who seemed to be the captain angrily scolded the others.
"Captain, it should be this person's problem. There are so many people on guard in front. None of them noticed him. This person must have entered here through some unknown means. Otherwise, we and those people have controlled all the entrances. It's impossible for this person to come here unknowingly."
A member hurriedly said. The captain thought about it and agreed. Logically, all the roads were blocked by them. No one should be able to come here.
"This person's strength is not bad. Let's attack together and kill him." The captain thought about it and made a decision.
…
The second one was even worse.
