In the cool forest dungeon, the sounds of players fighting could be heard from time to time.
After meeting Mogir, the players in the dungeon knew that they had to collect as many Forest Crystals as possible and get rid of other players.
The dungeon had been open for more than one and a half hours. Of the fifteen teams, less than ten were left.
"Hmph!
A bunch of poor bastards. Experts? Six of them only got 13 Forest Crystals! "
Another team fell. Leng Xiao Qian counted the number of Forest Crystals on the ground and couldn't help but complain.
"It's about time. Kill a few more Elite monsters and we'll have 60 Forest Crystals." Leng Xiao Liu nodded.
There were only 300 Forest Crystals in total. It wasn't easy to gather 60 Forest Crystals.
"Hehe, killing monsters is too slow. It's best if we meet other player teams. Their equipment can't be compared to ours." Leng Xiao Qian said proudly.
Their team had been killing the Slime King for several days. Adding on the equipment they had bought to kill the Boss, their equipment was something that few players could match among level 10 players.
Level 10 players didn't have many skills. Their equipment was superior. Some of their equipment even had skills and special effects. Their teamwork wasn't something that other teams could compare to. Killing other teams wasn't a problem at all.
With Leng Xiaoliu taking the lead, the six-man team ventured forward.
With their equipment, other than the Boss and Lou Fengyu's team, the six of them felt that there was no other threat in this dungeon.
Elite monsters would attack, but to them who could even kill the Slime King, the Elite monsters in the dungeon weren't a problem at all. As for other player teams, even if they were ambushed, the six of them wouldn't be afraid.
"There's a shadow in front!" Suddenly, Leng Xiao Qian's eyes lit up.
"That's right!
Chase!
While the enemy hasn't discovered us, let's ambush them and kill them quickly! "Leng Xiao Liu and the others also saw the back of a player.
That team was also moving forward. They were at the back and it was a great opportunity to ambush them.
With a wave of his hand, Leng Xiao Liu led his team and quickly moved forward under the cover of the trees.
"What's this!" When they passed by a large tree, Leng Xiao Liu suddenly felt an unnatural color at the corner of his eyes.
He turned his head and looked over, only to see a pair of big, black, cute eyes looking at him with twinkling eyes.
Seeing him looking over, the owner of this pair of big eyes roared fiercely and jumped into the group of Leng Xiaoliu and the others.
"Mutant Slime King!"
Other players might not know, but how could Cold Little Stream not recognize this big Amethyst guy?
"Retreat!"
Leng Xiaoliu's expression changed drastically as he roared.
Unfortunately, they were one step too late. A large group of small purple balls shot out from the Mutated Slime King's body. Before the group of people could react, they were all hit.
As long as they were hit by the two purple balls, even a Level 10 player would have no chance of survival. Even the Knight player in the team was killed before he could even cast a skill due to the Variant Slime King's sneak attack.
Just like that, the six arrogant fellows were killed by the Mutant Slime King, who had appeared out of nowhere.
"F * ck!
What the hell is going on? "
After reviving in the main city, Leng Xiaoliu could not help but curse.
Just as they were about to collect 60 Forest Crystals and lay the foundation for clearing the Dungeon, a Boss-level monster suddenly jumped out, instantly wiping them out.
He always felt that something was strange, but he couldn't tell what kind of monster it was.
"Haha, so many Forest Crystals."
In the dungeon, the little Warrior looked at the forest crystals on the ground, his eyes shining.
"You pick a few and get 20 Forest Crystals. I'll take the rest." Chen Mo was very satisfied with the results of this battle.
When Cold Stream was still fighting with that team, he had already seen it. However, he did not choose to sneak in and join the battle at that time. Instead, he changed his mind and let Little Warrior be the bait while he and Big Fat lay in ambush at the side.
In order to chase after the little Warrior, Cold Little Cold and the others had let down their guard. In the end, Big Fat easily succeeded and wiped out Cold Little Cold's team in one move.
This was also because Cold Stream and the others were careless. If their levels were higher and the players had more skills, he would not be so careless.
During this period of time, Chen Mo and LittleBrandyLittleBrandyLittleBrandyLittleBrandyLittleBrandyLittleBrandyLittleBrandyLittleBrandyLittleBrandyLittleBrandyLittleBrandy
After tasting the sweetness, Chen Mo simply let Little Warrior hide in a remote forest. Then, he brought Big Fat to look for other players. When he found other players, he would purposely reveal his whereabouts and let Big Fat ambush them.
This trick was tried and tested. Although the teams that were still alive in the dungeon were all skilled, no one knew if they could survive after being ambushed by Big Fat.
In less than an hour, Chen Mo had killed four teams and obtained more than 80 Forest Crystals.
At this point, Chen Mo had more than half of the total number of Forest Crystals!
"The elite monsters should be almost all dead. There are at most four player teams left." Chen Mo guessed.
The dungeon had been open for almost three hours. Lou Fengyu's team was the strongest, so they should have obtained a lot of Forest Crystals.
"Brother Lou, you said there's a Variant Slime King in the dungeon?" Wang Wen asked Lou Fengyu. His face showed a hint of contemplation.
"That's right. All four teams were ambushed by it and were instantly wiped out. We have to be careful." Lou Fengyu nodded.
He went offline to contact the other teams and see how things were going. In the end, he found that the Ice River Gaming Club's teams were mostly dead.
"Those teams all died in different places?"
"Yes, that Variant Slime King can move. But it seems that it will only jump out and attack players when they are very close to it." Lou Fengyu nodded.
"Announcement: The number of players left in the dungeon is less than 10. The dungeon guardian has appeared near the coordinates (3088,6369). Please kill the dungeon guardian within 60 minutes. Otherwise, everyone will fail the trial!"
When the announcement sounded, Lou Fengyu and the others' faces changed.
Unknowingly, there were less than 10 people left in the dungeon!
"Could it be that we're the only team left in the dungeon?" Wang Xu guessed.
"But the possibility is very small. It's very likely that there's another team, and that team has more Forest Crystals than us." Wang Wen shook his head.
They only had less than 100 Forest Crystals. If there were no other teams, the remaining Forest Crystals should be able to spawn a lot of Elite monsters. But in reality, that wasn't the case.
"Let's go to the NPC Mogil. The dungeon guardian's coordinates are in that area. The other team might be there too.
Let's hurry over and discuss how to fight the boss together. "Lou Fengyu suggested.
They had six people, and the other team had at most four people. Four people against the Instance Dungeon Guardian, no matter what, was too much.
The others didn't have any objections. The six of them immediately ran towards Mogil's coordinates.
The group was in a hurry, but they were very careful on the way. They didn't give anyone a chance to ambush them.
"The other team doesn't seem to be here yet."
The six of them rushed to the lakeside. Mogil was in front of them, but they didn't see any other players.
"Let's go find Mogil and see if there are any changes."
Stepping on the soft leaves by the lakeside, the six of them quickly walked over.
"Hm?"
Walking a few meters in front of Mogil, Wang Wen suddenly stopped. He felt that the pile of leaves under his feet was a little different from the ones in front of him.
"Roar!"
But before he could give a warning, a huge purple figure suddenly jumped out from the ground, kicking up a large amount of leaves.
A large number of purple balls shot out. Lou Fengyu and the others were shocked. Although they tried their best to dodge, in such a close range, they couldn't dodge at all.
Only Wang Wen, who was the first to notice the abnormality, immediately dodged. Only one of the purple balls hit him. He didn't die.
Under normal circumstances, he would have been able to escape with his life from such an inconceivable attack. However, this mutated slime king that was hiding under the leaves seemed to know that he wouldn't die. It moved its body and slammed into his body fiercely.
Wang Wen, who only had a little bit of health left, fell to the ground and died almost instantly, just like the others in the team.
A large number of Forest Crystals fell from the six of them. A few meters away, Mogil's eyes lit up. He wanted to rush over and pick them up, but the Variant Slime King jumped in front of him and blocked him.
In the forest not far away, a figure jumped out and bent down to pick up the Forest Crystals on the ground.
"Mr. Mogil, you really want these Forest Crystals, don't you?"
Then, Chen Mo looked at Mogil with a smile.
