This used to be a very beautiful city.
Walking on the streets of Undersea City, although the surroundings were almost in ruins, everyone could clearly feel that Undersea City was a beautiful city before it turned into ruins.
Especially Chen Mo. In Chen Mo's eyes, Undersea City was like a futuristic city in many sci-fi movies. It was by no means comparable to the cities in the game.
Even the Suez Royal City of the Sacred Continent he had been to couldn't give him such a feeling.
"What's going on here?
Even the outer magic barrier wasn't broken. "
The Viya clansmen still found it hard to believe that the ruined city in front of them was Undersea City.
In their clan's records, the records about Undersea City were very detailed, but there was no information about Undersea City turning into ruins.
Undersea City turning into ruins was also very strange. With such large-scale destruction, even the outermost magic barrier wasn't destroyed. It was too strange.
This Undersea City's ground and buildings were all similar to concrete!
Chen Mo walked while carefully observing and quickly came to a conclusion.
The entire Undersea City was actually a man-made city!
Just like real cities, it was built with materials that didn't exist on Earth, but were of the same type as concrete, only much harder than concrete.
"Hey, there are still many intact buildings ahead!"
"Heavens, what a tall building!"
"It's sparkling, so beautiful!"
The group walked towards the interior of Undersea City. Soon, they walked out of the ruins on the edge of the city and came to an area with well-preserved buildings.
A modern city!
When Chen Mo saw these buildings, his previous conclusion was no longer in doubt.
Undersea City was really a crystallization of technology and magic civilization!
The buildings that the Viya clansmen sighed with emotion about were really tall buildings with more than twenty floors.
In the middle of the building, there were pieces of black glass on the outside, which made the Viya clansmen very surprised.
Wei Ya herself, looking at everything around her, was also infatuated.
"The legends are true, Undersea City is indeed a beautiful city!"
The Viya clansmen, this time, couldn't help but proudly say.
No matter what, it was all thanks to them that they were able to find Undersea City.
Boom!
However, just as they were talking, a tall building not far from them collapsed with a loud bang.
Weathered?
Not really.
The surrounding NPCs were greatly alarmed. They hurriedly retreated and looked at the surrounding buildings, worried that they would collapse in the same way. If that happened, they would be in danger as well.
However, Chen Mo had long discovered that the building was in danger of collapsing at any time.
The building materials of Undersea City were very sturdy, and it was almost impossible for it to collapse due to weathering.
The base of the building seemed to have been destroyed by some monster not long ago, causing the surrounding environment to change slightly, causing the building to collapse.
Chen Mo narrowed his eyes as he thought of the new traces he had seen before. He scanned his surroundings, but he did not find anything.
Chen Mo continued to move forward. The Viya tribesmen hesitated for a moment before following closely behind.
After walking for a short distance, they entered the ruins of a building.
The Weiya clansmen looked at each other in dismay. They couldn't understand why Undersea City would become like this.
"Be careful. There might be monsters here," Chen Mo warned Viya and the others.
"Monsters?
Impossible! How could there be monsters in Undersea City! "
A villager didn't believe Chen Mo's words at all.
"Be careful!"
"Quickly hide!"
Just as he was speaking, a black figure suddenly appeared from the ruins beside them and pounced on them.
The group of NPCs, including Viya, were shocked.
Judgement Spear!
In the nick of time, the Judgement Spear shot out from Chen Mo's hand and fiercely hit the black figure.
The black figure's body shook, and its movements slowed down.
However, what surprised Chen Mo was that the Judgement Spear pierced through the black figure's body!
It wasn't that the black figure was too sharp. In the game, no matter how sharp the equipment was, it was impossible to pierce through a person, whether it was a person or a monster.
The reason why the weapon could pierce through the black figure was that after the Judgement Spear pierced through the black figure's body, its body squirmed and a hole appeared, allowing the Judgement Spear to pierce through its body.
What kind of monster is this?
Chen Mo was experienced and knowledgeable, but it was his first time seeing such a monster.
After the Judgement Spear passed through him, the black figure continued to rush towards the crowd.
Although Chen Mo used the Judgement Spear to give the group of NPCs some time, the Viya people's levels weren't high. They were all between level 65 and level 70. The extra time wouldn't help them escape.
In the group of more than ten people, the black figure could easily pounce on two or three of them.
Bang!
But at this time, a muffled sound was heard.
Under the ruins of a nearby building, another figure emerged.
This figure was holding a strange crossbow in its hand, and what was shot from the crossbow wasn't an ordinary crossbow arrow, but a small round ball.
This small round ball quickly shot towards the black figure that was about to pounce on the crowd and exploded with a bang.
Everyone looked over and saw that the place where the black figure was hit quickly turned into a blue crystal.
This blue crystal seemed to be spreading.
The black figure was hit in the arm. At this time, his arm quickly turned into a blue crystal. The direction of the crystal spread to his body. If he didn't deal with it, his entire body would be crystallized.
Roar!
The black figure let out an angry roar, and his body completely stopped.
Everyone looked over and saw that the black figure was really a black person.
However, this wasn't an ordinary person, but a liquid metal person!
The black figure's whole body was black liquid metal. Looking at it closely, they could clearly feel the metallic luster on it.
Metal lifeform?
This term suddenly appeared in Chen Mo's mind.
He just happened to see this term recently.
That's right, in Cayton's journal, Chen Mo had seen it before.
However, regarding the metal lifeform, even Cayton himself wasn't clear about it. The information recorded in the journal was even more vague. Chen Mo only thought of the metal lifeform because of his connection with reality.
Roar!
Facing the spreading crystallization, the metal lifeform didn't hesitate to pull the crystallized arm directly from the body, making everyone feel a chill in their hearts.
However, this guy lost an arm just like that, so his strength should have decreased a bit.
Quite a few villagers had the same thought.
"Come over quickly, it's going crazy. If you don't hurry, you'll all die!"
But at this time, the person who was attacking the metal lifeform monster with a crossbow popped out and hurriedly said to everyone.
Human!
There were still humans alive in Undersea City!
The one who popped out was a young man in his twenties.
Seeing this, the Viya clansmen's spirits were lifted.
The young man was so young, which meant that he wasn't old. There were still many people alive in Undersea City!
This wasn't the first time the young man and the metal lifeform had met, so what he said couldn't be wrong.
Although they didn't know what the metal lifeform would do next, causing their lives to be in danger, the group didn't dare to joke around with their lives. One by one, they quickly ran towards the young man.
"Come in quickly."
"The sewer?"
"No, it's the underground street!
The underground street is better preserved than the street above, but the most important thing is that monster, it doesn't want to enter here. "
The young man jumped down. They found that there was a sewer where the young man was, but after jumping in, they found that the young man was right.
This wasn't a sewer, but an underground street of Undersea City.
Roar!
The NPC had already gone down, leaving only Chen Mo above.
He knew that this metal lifeform monster would most likely be the opponent he would face in Undersea City. Collecting information about it was necessary.
He wanted to know what the metal lifeform's next reaction would be.
Roar!
After tearing off an arm, the metallic lifeform once again let out a roar, and then a new arm grew out.
Chen Mo wasn't surprised that the metal lifeform would automatically grow out an arm.
However, the metal lifeform's next change caused Chen Mo's face to change.
… …
The third change.
