Saint Gallen, the Shadow Moon Valkyrie, and the others also knew that the Sky Tree could not fly far, so they left to deal with the Demon Shadow Devourer.
However, if they had stayed and watched Catelyn display all kinds of rare abilities, they would not have left so easily.
These generals had good ideas, but unfortunately, they had underestimated Catelyn. They did not know enough about Catelyn and Chen Mo.
A large group of flying cavalry chased after Catelyn, but Catelyn had already slowly floated above the blue sea.
Many players who had rushed over to watch the show thought that this was the end. What happened next had nothing to do with them. They would not be able to see how Catelyn had changed.
Boom!
When some people were about to turn and leave, the players who were still staring at Catelyn suddenly widened their eyes.
Suddenly, Catelyn seemed to have lost gravity. She fell from the sky into the sea with a loud bang. Then, she quickly sank to the bottom of the sea.
What was going on?
Was there a problem with the Sky Tree? Could it not support this small city to continue floating in the sky?
Most people did not know much about the Sky Tree. Those who saw this scene could not help but be stunned. They could not help but think so.
The temporary generals of the empires and kingdoms also had the same thought.
However, Catelyn's previous performance made it hard for them to believe that she would make such a low-level mistake at this time.
"Dive into the sea and confirm it!"
The Descenders all gave orders to their subordinates.
The flying cavalry who had chased into the sky immediately jumped into the sea from the sky.
Splash … Splash …
Loud sounds could be heard, but the soldiers who had jumped into the sea soon emerged from the sea and shook their heads at their respective generals.
There was no trace of it!
Dozens of empires and kingdoms had traveled thousands of miles to come to this place. But now, this insignificant city had disappeared into the ocean just like that.
The soldiers who had jumped into the sea tried their best to dive to the deepest part of the sea, but there was no trace of the small city.
It was as if it had never appeared. This small city with the Sky Tree, the ancient magic barrier, and all kinds of unknown power had completely disappeared in front of their eyes just like that.
The generals looked at each other. No one expected things to develop like this.
However, Catelyn had disappeared. The bottom of the sea was very deep, and they could not be sure if Catelyn had really sunk to the bottom of the sea.
Left with no choice, they could only wait for their respective Descends to return before making a decision.
Grey Feather Kingdom.
The Demon Shadow Devourer was also very unlucky.
This was the second time it had been released. The first time it had been released, it had encountered the ten-winged angel Marshall. In the end, although it had ambushed and killed Marshall, it had still been sealed by Marshall.
This time, it was released again, but the enemies it faced were much more troublesome than Marshall alone.
Due to the influence of the Demon Shadow Eater, the number of powerful NPCs that came to deal with the Demon Shadow Eater had exceeded 100!
With so many powerful figures attacking at the same time, they also had some understanding of the Evil Demon's Shadow Devouring technique.
The Demon Shadow Devourer was heavily targeted. Under the siege of a group of people, he was beaten very miserably.
Although it tried its best to fight back, it couldn't hit anyone at all.
These hundred or so people were the most powerful people in nearly thirty kingdoms and empires. If it weren't for Katrin, it would be almost impossible for such a powerful group to appear.
More than a hundred people had gathered the Holy Continent's strongest forces. If they could not even deal with Demon Shadow Devourer, then Demon Shadow Devourer would truly be invincible.
In reality, Demon Shadow Devourer was still far from being invincible.
Faced with the combined attacks of these hundred or so powerful figures, Demon Shadow Devourer was actually beaten to the point that it could not fight back.
Even so, Demon Shadow Devourer was not in any danger.
Demon Shadow Devourer was unable to kill these powerful figures, but it was also impossible for these powerful figures to kill Demon Shadow Devourer.
The Evil Demon, Shadow Devourer, which was in the form of a shadow, could turn its body into nothingness every once in a while. During this period of time, almost all attacks were ineffective against it, and it could rapidly recover its life during this period of time.
The hundred or so powerful figures had done their best, but they had to admit that Demon Shadow Devourer was indeed the most difficult Demon to deal with. Even with their combined attacks, it still could not die.
"We can't go on like this. You all continue to hold it back. We angels will join forces to seal it!"
Tyrael shouted in a deep voice.
He had not said anything before because he thought that with so many people joining forces, they might be able to kill Demon Shadow Devourer.
In the end, it was still not possible. Demon Shadow Devourer's ability was simply too powerful. Apart from the ability to devour, its body also had special hiding and recovery abilities.
"Alright!"
The group of generals also understood this and nodded in agreement.
Simply holding Demon Shadow Devourer back was not a problem at all.
After a while, Tyrael and the other angels finished their preparations.
While everyone was attacking Demon Shadow Devourer until it could not move, Tyrael shouted softly, and three crosses of light stabbed into Demon Shadow Devourer's body.
Roar!!
…
"Good!
It's sealed! "
Demon Shadow Devourer roared angrily, and the generals were delighted.
They could not let their guard down when fighting against this fellow. If they were not careful, they would be devoured by Demon Shadow Devourer and die.
However, Tyrael and the others did not look too happy.
Demon Shadow Devourer was sealed once again, but their combined seal was still not as powerful as the seal that Marshall, a ten-winged angel, had used his life in exchange for it.
This seal could only seal Demon Shadow Devourer for three months at most. There was not much time left for the angels. The angels had to make preparations to kill Demon Shadow Devourer within three months.
"That small city actually has such a method?
In the end, it fell into the sea and disappeared without a trace? "
The group hurried back. Along the way, they met their respective messengers.
Hearing the reports from their subordinates, the generals could not help but be stunned. Some of them even regretted coming over to seal Demon Shadow Devourer.
If they had known this would happen, they would not have made a move. It would have been enough to let their subordinates come over.
There were too many things on that small city that tempted them.
"Organize a salvage team!"
They did not know if Catrin had really sunk to the bottom of the sea, but under the various temptations, they had no choice.
Not long after, more than ten salvage teams were formed. One by one, the salvage teams began to dive into the sea to salvage Catrin's sunken ship.
They did not find the small city. There was not even a trace of wreckage!
Not long after, the same news came back from the salvage teams one after another.
There was not even a trace of wreckage. It was obvious that this small city had escaped from the bottom of the sea!
Upon confirming this, the faces of the generals darkened.
…
The third thing was even worse.
