The news came from Star Iron City's Mayor.
However, Chen Mo wasn't clear about the details of the news.
A month ago, players began exploring the second floor of the Abyss Region.
Chen Mo would occasionally accept some contribution quests when he wasn't leveling up. When he went to the Quest Hall, he was summoned by Star Iron City's Mayor and received a quest to explore the second floor of the Abyss Region.
The quest content was to draw a map and record information about monsters and bosses. The quest content was quite extensive and couldn't be completed in a short period of time.
Chen Mo had originally planned to concentrate on leveling up, so he didn't really want to accept this quest that required him to run all over the map. However, after talking with Star Iron City's City Lord, he discovered that he could change the quest reward. When he changed the reward to an item related to pet's third class advancement, Chen Mo accepted the quest.
Because of this quest, Chen Mo would change his leveling location from time to time in the second floor of the Abyss Region. Then, with the leveling location as the center, he would go around recording the map and information about monsters and bosses.
Now, a month had passed. Although Chen Mo hadn't completely recorded the map of the second floor of the Abyss Region, he reached the point where he could turn in the quest two days ago.
…
Star Iron City's City Lord was still wearing a grey robe that couldn't be seen clearly, but this time, he met Chen Mo in an ancient study room.
"Not bad. You are indeed the most suitable person for this quest."
Chen Mo handed the map with information about monsters to Star Iron City's Mayor. Star Iron City's Mayor was very satisfied.
The quest seemed simple, but in reality, it wasn't.
The monsters in the second floor of the Abyss Region were actually very strong, especially in areas where monsters were concentrated. Without a large number of people, it was very difficult to record a map.
If it were someone else, they wouldn't be able to do it as well as Chen Mo even if they spent a lot of manpower and resources.
"Then the reward …" Chen Mo said softly.
"Don't worry. In fact, if you didn't come back, I would've sent someone to inform you and give you an advance payment.
I've been paying attention to the special item you want for your pet's third class advancement.
This item was called 'Time Crystal', and it was currently on a Silver Wind Snake in the Silver Sand Continent.
This Silver Wind Snake is a Boss monster that is about to undergo its third class advancement. It is very strong. According to the information I received, it has accumulated enough strength and is preparing to use this item to undergo its third class advancement. If you want to obtain this item, you must find it within three days and snatch the Time Crystal from it. "
The Star Iron City's City Lord said in a hoarse voice.
Time Crystal?
Silver Wind Snake?
Silver Sand Continent?
Chen Mo was a little surprised. He did not expect that the item required for Totoro's Third Transformation would be in the Silver Sand Continent.
He had heard about the Silver Sand Continent from Nine Ears in the Ability Battle Tower.
At that time, he had thought of going to the Silver Sand Continent, but now, that thought had faded. If there was no need, he probably wouldn't even bother to go to the Silver Sand Continent.
However, the item required for Chinchilla's evolution was in the Silver Sand Continent, so he had to make a trip there.
When he arrived at the Silver Sand Continent, he would simply complete a mission that he had received at the Weapon Island a long time ago. He would then go to the Silver Sand Ocean to find Ophelia and pass the mission package to her.
Now that he knew where the item was, the next step was simple. Chen Mo used the teleportation circle in the Star Iron City to teleport directly to the Silver Sand Continent.
He had spent so much time on this mission, so the reward was definitely not as simple as just information. The Star Iron City's City Lord also had to provide a teleportation circle.
However, to be honest, Star Iron City even had a teleportation circle that could teleport to the Silver Sand Continent. This was beyond Chen Mo's expectations.
Being able to teleport to and from the Star Iron City also saved Chen Mo a lot of time traveling. Otherwise, if he had to travel back and forth, it would take him at least a week.
…
Silver Sand Continent.
Compared to the Holy Continent, the Silver Sand Continent was much smaller. It was about the size of a fragment of the Holy Continent, which was about one-fifth of its size.
However, the difference was that the Silver Sand Continent only had one country, unlike the Holy Continent, which had kingdoms of various sizes and wars everywhere.
Compared to the Holy Continent, the Silver Sand Continent was very peaceful.
Dusk Town was an inconspicuous seaside town on the Silver Sand Continent. The town was located on an island dominated by sand.
In Dusk Town, in the basement of a limestone building that looked quite old, there was a magic array formation.
There was a little-used magic array here. At this moment, light flowed around the magic array. Suddenly, a figure appeared on top of the magic array.
When the magic array was activated, it had already alarmed the owner of this building.
An old woman with a hunchback came to the basement and saw the human figure appear in the magic array.
"Come with me. Leave through the back door of the courtyard. Don't let anyone see you."
The old woman seemed to be used to this. She raised her head slightly and said to the person with a hunchback. Then, she led the way out of the basement. The person nodded and did not say anything.
"This is the Silver Sand Continent?"
After leaving the courtyard, Chen Mo glanced at the ancient seaside town. Smelling the unique moist smell of the sea, he could not help but feel as if he had come to a foreign land.
Chen Mo had two things to do in the Silver Sand Continent.
The first was to find and kill the Silver Wind Snake and obtain the Time Crystal. The second was to find Ophilia and complete the quest he had received.
Of the two, the first was undoubtedly the most important. However, it was also the easiest to complete for the time being.
Regarding the Silver Wind Snake, Star Iron City's City Lord had provided detailed information. He only needed to go to the Silver Sand Continent's Ocean Rain City to find the Silver Wind Snake.
Ocean Rain City was a large city in the Silver Sand Continent. The Silver Wind Snake was in the wilderness of Ocean Rain City. Chen Mo had to find its exact location. However, a Boss like the Silver Wind Snake would not be unknown. It should not be a problem to find it.
As for the second matter, the content of the mission was very simple. As long as he gave the mission package to Ophilia, he would be able to complete it.
However, Chen Mo only knew that Ophilia was in the Silver Sand Continent. As for her exact location, Chen Mo did not know.
If Ophilia was very famous, then things would be easier. However, if Ophilia was just an ordinary NPC, then it would be difficult to find her.
Therefore, for the second quest, Chen Mo only thought that if he could complete it, then he would complete it. If he could not, then so be it.
"These humans from the alien civilization really do not look any different from us humans on Earth."
Walking on the streets of Dusha Town, Chen Mo saw many players.
If they did not know that the people in the Silver Sand Continent were from the alien civilization, no one would think that they were not humans from Earth.
However, when he thought about who this game was used to test, the examinees probably looked similar to humans on Earth. In that case, it was not strange that the players from the alien civilization who were also selected to enter the game were the same as humans on Earth.
Chen Mo did not dwell on it. He asked for the location of Ocean Rain City and rushed there.
…
The next day.
