The Giant Tree Labyrinth was much larger than the other areas. Several giant trees would grow close to each other. Following the wooden stairs, there were several giant trees that were hollowed out and connected together into a wooden hall. Most of the ape monsters would respawn in this kind of giant tree hall.
In the hall, there were quite a few players around level 10 who were killing monsters in groups. Although the level 13 apes were ferocious, compared to the monsters of the same level in the developed areas, they gave more experience. Therefore, the Great Tree Labyrinth was quite popular among the low-level players.
"Have you searched every single hall here?"
June Rain led the way. Chen Mo looked around and asked.
"I've searched the bottom area four or five times. There's no way I've missed anything!
The higher levels are much narrower. However, I've been here twice with my friends, but I couldn't find anything, "June Rain replied with certainty.
Chen Mo knew that Elia was most likely not at the bottom or middle level. Otherwise, the reward for this quest wouldn't be so good.
The number of players on the road gradually decreased as they made their way up through the dark tree-lined passageway.
The higher they went, the narrower the trees became. It wasn't good for team battles. If they fought alone, they would easily be surrounded by many apes. It wasn't that there was no place to level up.
After walking for a while, Chen Mo suddenly felt that something wasn't right.
"Eh? It seems like I haven't seen any players for a long time. The last two times I came here, there were still some players." June Rain's observation skills were quite good. She also noticed the problem.
"Come, follow behind me!"
Chen Mo knew that something was happening in the Giant Tree Labyrinth!
After walking for a while, two apes pounced on Chen Mo. Chen Mo didn't want to waste time. There was no one else here besides June Rain. Without hesitation, he summoned Big Fat.
Big Fat had a dejected look on its face. The Flower Goblin Battle Spirit was lying lazily on its head. After it was summoned, it blocked the narrow passage. The attacks of the two apes landed on its body.
"Roar!"
Big Fat was in a very bad mood. Just as it was about to find someone to vent its anger on, it was attacked. It immediately roared and retaliated. It used Miniature Self-Destruct Slime and the two apes were instantly killed!
Chen Mo was satisfied. With the interference of the Flower Demon Battle Spirit, although Big Fat did not listen to his commands, when he was attacked, the Flower Demon Battle Spirit would not interfere.
June Rain stared at Shi Feng in a daze, unable to believe her own eyes.
She did not have much experience, but she could recognize that the Big Fat summoned by Chen Mo was the Mutant Boss of the Newbie Village!
After Chen Mo showed off his equipment, she knew that this Hunter player was strong, but she did not expect him to have caught a Boss as a pet!
With this Mutant Boss as his underling, the high-level maze that was previously inaccessible was not a problem at all!
This time, he might really be able to complete the quest and obtain the skill book!
The more June Rain thought about it, the more excited she became. Meanwhile, Chen Mo had already put away Big Fat after it killed the ape and led the way forward.
June Rain hurriedly followed behind.
Not long after, Chen Mo's eyes twitched. He saw two figures sneakily hiding at the corner of the passage ahead. They were peeking their heads out to observe a wooden hall further ahead.
He recognized one of the two figures!
Sensing that there were people behind them, the two figures turned around.
One of them was a beauty with a giant bow, and the other was a loli Mage.
The beauty with the giant bow was none other than the Golden Phoenix with long wavy hair. When the Golden Phoenix saw Chen Mo, she could not help but ask in surprise, "It's you?
What are you doing here? "
"Helping someone with a quest."
Chen Mo pointed at June Rain beside him. June Rain hurriedly nodded. The Golden Phoenix's equipment was not cheap at all. She was another expert!
"What's up ahead?" Chen Mo walked forward, wanting to see what was going on.
The Golden Phoenix hurriedly pulled him back. "Don't go, it's a Mutant Messenger!"
A Mutant Messenger?
"Don't Mutant Messengers only appear in the wild at night?"
Chen Mo was shocked!
He had seen news about Mutant Messengers on the forum.
As early as ten days ago, a player had revealed on the forum that there was a very small chance of encountering a Mutant Messenger when going out at night. The Mutant Messenger would teleport the player to a certain race and become an adventurer of that race.
Players who encountered the Mutant Messenger would have two choices. They could either agree to the Mutant Messenger's request and be teleported over, or they could be killed by the Mutant Messenger.
However, no one believed him at that time because the player could not produce any screenshots or videos. However, the player insisted that no screenshots or videos were allowed when the Mutant Messenger appeared.
In the end, not many people believed this player. However, not long after, news about the Mutant Messenger appeared one after another on the forum.
At first, the players were skeptical. Not long after, on the unofficial forum, a player revealed that he had been teleported to the Orc Race and had become a member of the Orc Race. His talents and skills had changed. When he went to the official forum, he entered a completely different forum. Only Orc Race players could enter it!
The Orc Race player listed the many benefits he had obtained after becoming a Orc.
The Orc Race player still could not produce any screenshots or videos. According to him, these two functions would be banned for at least three months. These functions would only be activated after a certain event in the game.
Not only the Orc Race players, but players from other races, even the Angels, Elves, and so on, had also revealed this information. It was just that no one knew if it was true or false.
However, the players on the forum already knew that Mutant Messengers did exist. There was a small chance of encountering Mutant Messengers when going out at night. The Mutant Messengers would only appear for a short period of time and would not stay for long. Encountering them required a lot of luck.
It was rare to see Mutant Messengers, and he had actually encountered one in broad daylight?
Chen Mo did not know if his luck was good or bad.
"Mutant Messengers will also appear in undeveloped areas. It's just that very few people know about it.
From what I know, a few guilds that were preparing to explore undeveloped areas have been teleported to the Mutant Tribe. "The Golden Phoenix's identity was clearly not ordinary. She knew these secrets that most people did not know.
Knowing that the Mutant Messengers were in front of him, Chen Mo naturally did not plan to go over. If he was teleported to the Mutant Tribe, his commission would be canceled. The gains would not make up for the losses. For the current him, the commission was the most important thing.
Following the Golden Phoenix, Chen Mo also quietly poked his head out. He saw that there was indeed a group of forty to fifty players gathered in the hall in front of him.
When this group of players saw the Mutant Messengers, they thought about how they would be teleported to the Mutant Tribe where there were not many competitors. They could not help but feel excited when they thought about how they would be teleported to the Mutant Tribe.
"Do you want to go over?" Chen Mo looked at June Rain behind him.
"No, I still have friends over here." June Rain rejected without even thinking about it.
At this time, in the wooden hall in front of them, a light flashed. Under the feet of the forty to fifty people, a huge magic circle appeared. The dozens of people, including the Mutant Messengers in a gray cloak, disappeared from the hall.
"Tsk tsk, in this group of people, I wonder how many of them will delete their accounts and start all over again." The Golden Phoenix stood up, stretched her back, and laughed.
"What's going on?" Chen Mo was curious.
"The Mutant Tribe is not a paradise. I know that there are some people who can't survive there and have to delete their accounts and start all over again.
Well, don't worry about them. Let me introduce you, this is my Little Devil!
Hehe, isn't she very cute? Don't you have any ideas about her! "The Golden Phoenix laughed as she introduced the loli Mage beside her to Chen Mo.
