In just one day, they had gathered 130,000 players!
These 130,000 players weren't the same as the corporations' 100,000 players.
The corporations' 100,000 players were basically hired to stand guard in Castle No. 9. They couldn't be used as combat power.
These 130,000 players, on the other hand, were really planning to work with Voidflow to break the Eternal Night Curse and take down Castle No. 9 in one go. Their morale was unprecedentedly high.
The 130,000 players set off in a grandiose manner. Some players who originally didn't plan to go also decided to follow along and watch the show.
With so many players attacking Castle No. 13 and a Divine Artifact in hand, it would be inexcusable if they couldn't take down Castle No. 9 as well.
If they followed along, they might be able to reap some benefits.
"Sure enough, the City of Lightning has appeared again!"
As they approached Castle No. 9, a glittering silver castle spun rapidly in the air.
Just like the previous two times, the City of Lightning had appeared once again to obstruct the players from attacking Castle No. 9.
"Voidflow's expert!"
Everyone's gazes shifted toward Voidflow. Many of them had personally witnessed the might of the City of Lightning. Although there were over 100,000 players here, the City of Lightning could easily kill tens of thousands of players if it went all out.
The players' attacks were practically no threat to the City of Lightning.
"Don't be afraid!
Wait for me to deal with it! "
Voidflow didn't disappoint. He stood up and flew forward with the Ocean Greatsword in hand.
"Ocean Greatsword!"
Xu Liu raised the Vast Sea Greatsword with both hands. In an instant, the Vast Sea Greatsword became hundreds of meters tall. The sky seemed to have turned into the sea. The Vast Sea Greatsword ruthlessly slashed down, splitting the turbulent sea into two halves. Then, the furious Vast Sea Greatsword slashed down on the oncoming Lightning City.
Boom!
An earth-shattering sound rang out. The sky and earth trembled, and the massive City of Lightning shook violently. Then, the players watched, dumbfounded, as the Ocean Greatsword chopped off a corner of the City of Lightning and blasted it a thousand meters away like a baseball!
After receiving such a heavy blow, the City of Lightning wobbled and stabilized itself. Then, it quickly flew away.
"Good!"
"Too strong!"
"He destroyed an ancient city with a single strike!"
Thunderous roars erupted from the crowd of over a hundred thousand players.
Although Voidflow had proven the power of a divine weapon during the Evernight army's previous attack, many people still hadn't experienced it firsthand.
The City of Thunder was one of the Seven Great Ancient Cities. There was no need to mention how powerful it was. Now, Xu Liu had used the Vast Sea Greatsword to destroy a corner of the Ancient City and drive away the City of Thunder. He was far more powerful than the rumors said.
In an instant, the morale of the army of over 100,000 players reached its peak.
They were confident that, under Voidstream's leadership, it would be a piece of cake to capture the ninth castle. No matter how powerful the Evernight Monarch was, he wouldn't be able to escape this calamity.
"Tsk, the people from the consortium are also here."
As they approached Castle No. 9, the consortium's allied army also appeared and joined forces with the player army led by Voidstream.
"It's very likely that the financial groups are up to no good. Void Flow experts, chase them away with divine weapons!"
Someone said fiercely.
Players from financial groups were more powerful than most of the players present. With the addition of financial groups, their chances of obtaining high contribution points were greatly reduced.
"No!
Castle No. 9 won't be simple. The more people attacking, the better. If we fail this time, our situation will become very dangerous.
Don't worry, with me here, I won't let them capture Castle No. 9. Castle No. 9 will only fall into our hands!
Just like yesterday's announcement, Castle No. 9 will be everyone's castle. Anyone can enter and leave freely! "
Voidstream was a young man. However, he didn't become arrogant just because he had a divine weapon in hand. Instead, he calmly dealt with the problem.
Hearing Voidstream's words, the other players couldn't say anything.
Divine weapons belonged to Voidstream. If Voidstream didn't take action, others couldn't do anything to the consortium. Looking for trouble with the consortium would only be courting death.
The consortium had sent over 10,000 players, bringing the number of players attacking Castle No. 9 to 150,000. Including those who came to watch the show, the total number of players attacking Castle No. 9 was close to 180,000.
With such a terrifying player army, there was no reason for Castle No. 9 to not fall. Among the player army, many were already thinking about how to obtain the greatest benefits during the attack.
Under Voidstream's lead, they quickly arrived at a satellite town.
The Elite monsters in the satellite town couldn't stop the army at all. In just half an hour, the player army had captured the satellite town.
After replenishing their supplies in the satellite town, the 100,000 players quickly arrived before the towering gates of Castle No. 9.
The gates were still filled with Elite monsters. However, in front of the terrifying player army, they were naturally useless.
After the monsters were annihilated and the gates were breached, the players under Voidstream's lead poured into Castle No. 9.
The Curse of Eternal Night halo still enveloped Castle No. 9. The players who entered first felt their Attributes drop to one-tenth of their normal level. They all felt very uneasy.
System Notice: Curse of Eternal Night halo's effect has been removed!
However, very quickly, 100,000 players entered Castle No. 9. The Curse of Eternal Night's effect had been removed!
"Hahaha! Let's see how these Eternal Night monsters die without the Curse of Eternal Night halo!"
"It's time to strike back!"
"Kill!
Charge into the castle and kill the Eternal Night King! "
Now that the Curse of Eternal Night had been removed, the players were in a frenzy.
Meanwhile, the players from the consortiums were even more excited than ordinary players.
The major consortiums had already given their orders. If they could capture Castle No. 9 this time, there would be unimaginable rewards waiting for them.
Based on the current situation, capturing Castle No. 9 was already a done deal.
The Eternal Night army had a lot of monsters at night. However, there were almost no monsters during the day, even in Castle No. 9.
What the players needed to do seemed to be to rush to the center of Castle No. 9 and fight the Eternal Night King directly.
"It's too simple. Something's wrong!"
In the sky above Castle No. 9, Chen Mo rode on the Black Phoenix and observed.
Of course, he had to come to such a big event like capturing Castle No. 9.
However, Chen Mo immediately felt that something was wrong with the current situation.
The Eternal Night army's strength was already quite strong. Capturing Castle No. 9 shouldn't be that easy.
Chen Mo knew that the Eternal Night army's attack on Primitive City these days wasn't actually to conquer the city. Instead, the Eternal Night army wanted to kill the players and obtain their Death Points.
The death points earned by the Evernight army would definitely fall into the hands of the Evernight Monarch. After sieging the city several times, the number of death points earned by the Evernight Monarch was probably quite impressive. In addition to the death points earned by killing players at night, Chen Mo didn't even dare to imagine how many death points the Evernight Monarch had.
Chen Mo wouldn't believe that the Eternal Night King had no ulterior motives after making so many preparations.
"Sure enough, there's something wrong!"
Chen Mo looked at the center of Castle No. 9 from afar. He saw a huge black figure quietly sway and disappear from Castle No. 9.
…
The second thing was even worse.
