The expressions of the angels' upper echelons changed as Katrin crashed into the city.
One side was solid metal, and the other side was fused mud and flesh. There was no need to say which side was more durable.
An ordinary city would be easily destroyed if it was hit by such a metal city.
Angel City had the body of a demon. It would not be fatal if it was hit, but it would still be heavily injured. It would greatly affect its future battles.
Dodge!
Callum hurriedly gave the order.
The bodies of the two cities were huge, and both sides relied on the Sky Tree. The difference in speed was not obvious. Katrin could accelerate, and so could Angel City. There was a certain distance between the two sides. It was not difficult for Angel City to dodge Katrin's attack.
Chen Mo was naturally very clear about this.
In fact, Angel City's Sky Tree was much older than Catelyn's Sky Tree. It was much more powerful. After fusing with the power of the Demon Shadow Devourer, Angel City's speed was faster than Catelyn's after acceleration.
According to the current speed of both sides, Katrin's attack would miss.
Chen Mo had already anticipated the current situation. With a single thought, the gigantic Katarin City, under the control of the lifeform, suddenly underwent a tremendous change!
The front and sides of Katrin's body quickly became rounded, like a huge metal cone, and a pair of huge golden wings stretched out from the side.
Compared to Angel City, Katrin's biggest advantage was the ability of the metal life form to transform.
Back then, the metal life form had only seen Chen Mo once, and it had imitated a pair of wings and obtained the ability to fly.
Now that Chen Mo was commanding it, the ability of the intelligent metal life form to transform could be fully displayed.
After transforming, Katrin's speed suddenly increased, leaving a huge afterimage in the sky.
Boom!
In just a few short breaths, Angel City was hit by the transformed Katrin.
The entire Angel City shook. The destructive power of the cone-shaped Katrin exceeded the expectations of all the angels. A corner of Angel City was directly penetrated by Katrin.
After being penetrated, the black mass of flesh rapidly wriggled and grew at the location of the hole, allowing Angel City to return to its original state. However, the angels could not help but be frightened when they saw this.
If it wasn't for Angel City's fusion and evolution, the entire city would have been destroyed.
Although Angel City seemed to be fine, they were already at a disadvantage in the first clash. This gave all the angels a bad feeling.
After this collision, the metallic lifeform underwent another massive transformation under Chen Mo's command.
It transformed from a city into a gigantic metal giant in just a few seconds. Behind it, a pair of metal wings flapped slowly. Looking from below, it looked like a metal angel.
Reaching out, a huge metal sword appeared in the metal giant's hand.
The giant sword flashed with cold light as it slashed down at the black Angel City.
Angel City hurriedly dodged, but a corner of the city was still struck by the giant sword. A large piece of black flesh was sliced off and fell from the sky.
"What kind of monster is this!?"
Looking at this scene in shock, the large group of Angels floating in the air could not understand what was happening.
High in the sky, the metal giant commanded by Chen Mo and the Angel City commanded by Carom were already fighting with all their might.
A large number of black tentacles appeared on Angel City. From time to time, they would spit out waves of destructive magic light.
The surrounding Angels watching the battle wished that Angel City's attacks would hit the enemy and destroy them in one fell swoop.
But what worried them was that the enemy was too agile.
Angel City's large number of tentacles and various other attacks, against such a huge monster, not many attacks could hit it.
The only ones that could hit it were some rapid light beam attacks.
But such attacks were pathetically weak when they hit metal.
As for the powerful attacks, when Angel City gathered its power, the enemy was already prepared to dodge. They could not hit it at all. Every large-scale attack missed.
Moreover, whether it was attacking or dodging, the enemy was becoming more and more agile.
It was hard to imagine that a gigantic metal man could move like that. Some of its movements were even more agile than the Angels.
In comparison, Angel City, which was also gigantic and powerful, was much more cumbersome. It only knew how to attack savagely.
To put it simply, even if they did not want to admit it, Angel City was clearly at a disadvantage.
The battle between the two gigantic creatures in the air did not last long.
Both sides of the battle were being commanded by someone else.
In terms of battle experience, Chen Mo was much more experienced than Carom.
And the reaction speed of the intelligent metal life form was much better than Angel City's.
Angel City had merged with the demon Shadow Swallowing, while the Angels had erased the demon Shadow Swallowing's intelligence to reach this stage.
As they became more familiar with the battle, the metal life form's amazing learning ability also came in handy. They did not need Chen Mo to predict and command their attacks in advance. They could already control their own attacks.
The metal giant's movements became more and more agile. It slashed at Angel City again and again.
Large amounts of black flesh fell from the sky like raindrops. Angel City's size was shrinking at an alarming rate.
"Activate the Light of Heavenly Punishment again!"
If this continued, Angel City would be completely defeated in less than three minutes.
The Angels' higher-ups were already envious. They roared at the Angels in the sky.
The remaining Angels quickly gathered and prepared to activate the Light of Heavenly Punishment again.
The Light of Heavenly Punishment was very powerful and consumed a lot of energy. Forcefully activating it a second time would cause all the Angels to lose their ability to fight.
However, the Light of Heavenly Punishment could forcefully detain the enemy for a short period of time, making them unable to move.
During this time, Angel City could gather enough power to destroy the enemy.
Boom!
The huge light flashed again and fell toward the metal giant.
"This move again!"
It was fine if he was hit because he was not prepared. Now that the Angels were using this move again, he would have lived for nothing if he was hit again.
Under Chen Mo's command, the metal giant's free left hand suddenly broke off and was thrown into the air.
As it rose, the left hand quickly changed shape and turned into a huge shield.
A loud sound was heard. The Light of Heavenly Punishment hit the shield.
The metal giant below took the opportunity to escape the attack range of the Light of Heavenly Punishment and slashed at Angel City.
"Those who can still move, attack!"
Seeing that their years of preparation were about to be destroyed, the twelve-winged Angels were all envious. They led the charge toward Katrin.
Chen Mo looked down at them from above. The metal wings on the metal giant's back shot out one by one.
The metal wings shot toward the Angels. Some of the Angels were careless and were hit by the metal wings. They were instantly devoured and became part of the metal lifeform.
The metal wings that did not hit the Angels quickly turned into miniature metal lifeforms after their attacks missed. They pounced on the Angels from tricky angles.
In the blink of an eye, more than half of the Angels that pounced on Katrin were devoured by the metal lifeform and became its companions.
The rest of them were overwhelmed with shock when faced with the sudden increase in the number of enemies.
They wanted to escape, but it was too late.
The metallic lifeform surrounded all of the nearby angels and began to devour them.
More than half of the Angels were wiped out. Chen Mo's mission was more than half completed.
