Cold water dripped onto her face, and Mrs. Hombe's eyelids fluttered.
She dreamt that she was back in school in Hogwarts. When Myrtle was washing her robe in the toilet, the toilet was unusually quiet. There was only the sound of repeated scrubbing.
"Why don't you 'clean up'?" Hombe asked, trying to break the silence.
Myrtle stopped what she was doing and turned around. However, Hombe could not see her expression clearly. It was as if her face had been pixelated. Myrtle was silent for a moment. "I don't know how to."
Hombe rubbed her eyes and flashed a friendly smile. She took out her wand and took two steps towards Myrtle. "Let me help you."
The only sound in the toilet was gone. Myrtle held her robe and looked at Hombe with her blurry face. She seemed to be waiting for her to come over.
Hombe walked forward quickly, but she could not get close to Myrtle. She ran and stretched her arms, but all this only made her and Myrtle get further and further away.
"It's too late." Myrtle walked towards Hombe. Her face became clearer. Hombe could not move. She could only stand there and watch as Myrtle brushed past her and entered the toilet cubicle.
When the door closed, Myrtle's scream could be heard.
The cubicle door opened. Myrtle was lying on the ground. She was holding her glasses tightly with one hand. Her movements were stiff, and her face was filled with horror.
She was dead.
Mrs. Hombe's eyes flew open.
"Ugh!"
Belinda, who was applying the 'anti-thief waterfall potion' on Hombe, was so shocked that she almost fell on her butt. "Mrs. Hombe is awake!" she shouted.
Hombe sat up from the chair, feeling dizzy. What happened?
She found herself in the familiar yet unfamiliar hyacinth garden.
Hyacinths that were missing limbs were everywhere. It was difficult to find a few intact ones, but they were all trembling and hiding in inconspicuous places.
The magic wall that she had spent so much effort to create seemed to have put on a mask of pain. It was distorted beyond recognition.
As if to humiliate her own defense, Mrs. Hombe looked stiffly at the small cart beside the garden chair. It was filled with pitiful young hyacinths.
"Mrs. Hombe?
Are you alright? "
Belinda tried to get Mrs. Hombe's attention. "I'm Belinda Shafik, Madam. We've met at the banquet!"
Mrs. Hombe studied.......... the only daughter of the Shafik family......
"Madam Hong Bei." Anna walked over and waved in front of Hong Bei. "Has the Soul Seizing Spell lost its effect?"
'Hombe?'
Mrs. Hombe suddenly saw herself in a beautiful wedding dress. After a moment of daze, she remembered that she had been kidnapped to get married. She had even been cast on to deal with Lohat who had arrived early.
"Yes … It should be." Mrs. Hombe looked at the children in front of her in surprise. Did these children save her?
"Madam, can you see two identical people?" Fred and George swayed in front of Mrs. Hombe.
Could it be a side effect of the Hombe?!
Mrs. Hombe's expression was serious. "Yes …"
"Then this is a serious problem …" Before the two could finish, they were pulled aside by Belinda. Anna smiled helplessly at Mrs. Hombe. "Then it shouldn't be a problem. They are twins."
Mrs. Hombe tried to stand up. "Did you save me?
Although I don't know how you did it, it seems to be the case. "She did not care what the truth was. She only knew that she had escaped.
Hong Bei gracefully bowed. Her etiquette was impeccable. "Thank you very much. If it was any other time, I would definitely do my best to repay such kindness. But now … I have to leave as soon as possible. Those people might catch up at any time …"
"Where are you going?
Mrs. Hombe? "Belinda sounded anxious." Then will you … um … continue to develop beauty potions? "
"Maybe I will go to other countries to learn new techniques and continue to make potions." Mrs. Hombe took out her wand. "I will ask the owls to bring you a gift of thanks. Thank you again."
"Wait!
Mrs. Hombe!
Are you leaving? "Anna stopped Mrs. Hombe.
"What about Myrtle?"
Mrs. Hombe stopped waving her wand. "What?"
"Aren't you going to see her?" Although it was impolite to ask someone to see a dead girl.
"Why should I see her?"
Mrs. Hombe's expression did not change. Instead, she looked surprised. It was as if Myrtle was an insignificant passerby that she did not know. "Who is that?"
[Option: 1. Myrtle Elizabeth Warren, a Muggle who was killed by you.]
[2. Myrtle, a pitiful ghost who lives in the Hogwarts ladies' room.]
[★ 3. Your friend.]
"She is your friend." Anna tilted her head. "Isn't she?"
Mrs. Hombe was surprised to hear this answer. Her expression changed slightly. "I remember … I might have such a … friend …"
"Why do you suddenly mention her?" Mrs. Hombe frowned.
[Option: 1. You are very good friends.]
[2. Myrtle's request …]
[★ 3. I met her when I was washing my robes. She asked me …]
"I met Myrtle when I was washing the feces on my robes in the ladies' room. She said she was lonely and no one in school listened to her, so I chatted with her for a while …"
"She kept crying and complaining about being lonely. She even said she hoped to see you again …"
Mrs. Hombe looked at Anna without saying a word. She then looked at the damaged garden in front of her. She seemed to be hesitating.
Oh no, Anna felt a sense of foreboding.
[Hyacinth Garden is less than 30% intact.]
"I don't have the face to see Myrtle," Mrs. Hombe said. "I don't deserve to be her friend … I did something very bad. She won't forgive me …"
"Very, very bad …" Mrs. Hombe repeated.
[Option: 1. 'Don't waste time!
I still have to go back to study! '(Knock her out and take her away)]
[2. 'Faint and fall to the ground' (Magic)]
[★ 3. Submit the Lucky Bracelet]
Of course, submit the Lucky Bracelet!
What are the other options?!
Anna searched her pocket and finally found the bracelet. Fortunately, Catherine didn't take it away.
"This is your bracelet, right?"
Anna handed the bracelet to Mrs. Hombe. "It's because of this bracelet that we could find you. Maybe it really has the magic to bring good luck?"
Mrs. Hombe took the bracelet and touched the purple kidney stone. "I thought I'd never have the chance to see this bracelet again …"
[Option: ★ 1. Summarize the information and try to persuade her (Success rate 75%)]
[★ 2. Knock her out and take her away when she's unprepared.]
Why is the system so violent?
Anna decided to try persuasion.
"Mrs. Hombe, maybe this bracelet can bring you good luck and make Myrtle forgive you?
You haven't seen Myrtle since your brother applied to the Ministry of Magic to lock her up in the Hogwarts Castle, right? "
"You want to apologize to Myrtle, so you build a wall here and plant flowers every day, hoping that one day, Myrtle will see you and be moved to forgive you …" Anna paused for a moment.
"Planting flowers in the Hogsmeade must be tough, right?
Living in solitude must be lonely, right?
Creating bottle after bottle of beauty potion must be difficult, right? "
"Do you think Myrtle will be touched and forgive you if she finds out?
What Myrtle wants is not a priceless potion formula, nor a garden with no one around — "
"What she wanted was company. She wanted someone to stop and listen to the words of a ghost who only knew how to cry."
Mrs. Hombe did not know how to react. Her hand trembled as she held the bracelet.
"You're not begging for Myrtle's forgiveness. You're avoiding it," Anna concluded solemnly. "Trying to forgive yourself."
The surroundings quieted down. For a moment, only the sound of scribbling could be heard. Lohat, who appeared out of nowhere, was frantically writing with a quill. He felt that his next book would be interesting.
Fred sucked in a breath of cold air and clapped for no reason. The group of people looked at him.
"Uh … I just think that Anna has a point." He spread his hands.
Mrs. Hombe put the Lucky Bracelet on her wrist.
"You have a way to enter the Hogwarts?"
Mrs. Hombe paused for a second. "You're right …" She looked at Anna. "I have to visit my lonely old friend."
