Hogwarts Melon Eater - Chapter149

The familiar old woman's voice rang in her ears. Someone was humming 'Where's the Witch?'. Rita Skeeter tried to open her eyes in the darkness but failed.

"Rita?

Is the Hogwarts on holiday? "

"Child, why are you back?

Come and try the Scream Biscuits I just made! "

"Rita?"

The voice was silent for a moment. "It's okay. You can't learn anything from the school that expelled you without any evidence."

"I will teach you."

Rita Skeeter did not want to hear the old woman's voice at this time, so she covered her ears and turned herself into a beetle.

"Rita..." The old woman's voice was weak.

Rita Skeeter's eyes lit up. The warm European-style yellow wallpaper, the old wooden floor, and a big comfortable bed with a wrinkled old woman lying on it.

Rita Skeeter turned into a beetle and landed on the back of the old woman's hand.

"Rita, my dear granddaughter, you came back to see me?" The old woman laughed, causing her chest to vibrate. Soon, she started coughing.

Beetle Skeeter saw a glass of water being handed to her. Suddenly, she saw someone standing beside the bed. It was a familiar face. It was her twenties.

"Thank you, Rita, my dear." The old woman smiled and took the glass of water.

Memories flashed across her mind.

"Get out of there!"

Beetle Skeeter shouted, but it was useless. She could not change anything, just like a real beetle.

A man in a black robe barged in and shouted, "Go to hell with your stupid articles!

Rita Skeeter! "

The green light hit the old woman who was struggling to jump down from the bed to protect her granddaughter.

"Rita... run..."

Rita Skeeter opened her eyes.

She found herself in a gorgeous room with two green four-poster beds, dark green decor, and a huge glass window in front of her.

She was a giant teddy bear with her limbs tied up.

It was a nightmare.

"Good evening, Ms. Skeeter." Anna walked out of the bathroom and wiped away the toothpaste bubbles hanging from her mouth. "How was your experience back at the Hogwarts?"

"Our hospitality is quite warm, right?" Picking up the tape, Anna easily cut off a small section.

"You'll kill me?" Rita Skeeter couldn't use magic after being turned into a teddy bear. It was a terrible feeling.

Anna's hand, which was about to tape Skeet's furry mouth, paused. "Ms. Skeet, why do you have such evil thoughts?

I'm just a harmless little girl. "

"I don't know what caused you to have such a misconception, but I can tell you clearly that I will not kill anyone. Not now, and not in the future."

"Besides, what can I get from killing you?"

Anna smiled. "I've always believed that only when people are alive can they exert their subjective initiative, atone for their crimes, or change the situation in a temporary impasse."

"?" Big Bear Skeet was silent.

"Don't worry too much. I just want you to stay here for a while and enjoy the local customs of Hogwarts."

The local customs and practices were truly authentic.

Anna continued, "I know you're a Beetle Magus that hasn't been registered by the Ministry of Magic. This is a very powerful transformation magic."

Rita Teddy Bear's expression was horrified. "You … How did you know?!"

Anna didn't answer the question. "You transformed into a beetle and flew to the residence of a famous wizard, peeping into their privacy. Then, with half truth and half falsehood, combined with your own subjective consciousness, you created one explosive article after another."

"After you became famous, you let yourself go. There were more and more false things in your articles, and you even began to guide public opinion …"

Rita Teddy Bear curled up.

"Distorting, exaggerating, for example, the incident with the Weasley family last year. The blue Ford only appeared briefly in the air and stayed for no more than two minutes. But you used an article to slander the Weasley family for smuggling with a Muggle car?"

Anna took out a newspaper from the blue floral cloth bag and shook it in front of Rita Teddy Bear. "The Weasley family would probably only be criticized and educated, but because of your article, they were fined 50 Garen. This made things worse for a family that wasn't rich in the first place."

"Also, there's the incident of the giant dragon escaping from Gringotts." Anna took out another newspaper. "What do you mean by 'the story of the giant dragon and the sprite must be told'?

The giant dragon fell in love with the sprite guarding it, so they eloped?

What magical realism theme?

This isn't the truth at all! "

"Your article didn't respect the sprites at all, making the relationship between wizards and sprites worse and worse. Also, why do you have so many 'stories that must be told'?"

"Also, there's the stain on Harry Potter's butt." Anna paused for a moment. "You exposed other people's privacy without permission, causing him a lot of trouble. Even today, he still cries when he wakes up from his sleep!"

"Achoo!"

Far away in his small cozy room on Privet Drive, Harry sneezed loudly for no reason.

"Harry —" Next to Harry's room, Dudley woke up from his exhaustion after boxing practice and complained impatiently and sadly. "Don't sneeze!"

Harry rubbed his nose and stared at Blackie, who ran over from Anna's house to play. He wondered if the dog's hair got into his nose?

Blackie was unaware and wagged his tail happily.

The camera returned to Anna's room.

"I just wrote what the readers wanted to see!" Rita Teddy Bear struggled to shake her body. "I'm also doing it for survival!"

"You can also survive if you write the truth without exaggerating." Anna raised her hands. "Your profession is a reporter, documenting real people. In my opinion, you're just doing it for more money, you don't care if what you report is true or not."

"You even made up all kinds of gossip to attack the good wizards. I think you really don't dare to expose the evil forces at all. You're really picking on the weak!"

"You don't understand at all!" Rita Teddy Bear became agitated. "Reporting the truth won't let people survive at all!

Reporting the truth will always put the reporter in danger!

You don't know this at all! "

'Rita … run away', Rita Teddy Bear would never forget how her grandmother was brutally killed by the Death Eaters.

Because of her young self, after becoming a reporter, she was full of ambition to write a few critical and true reports.

"If that's what you think, then why did you choose to become a reporter?" Anna asked. "Is it just to make money?"

Rita Teddy Bear was silent and did not answer.

"Well then, I won't force you if you don't want to say it, Ms. Teddy." Anna shook the tape in her hand. "I have a suggestion …"

Footsteps came from outside the door.

Anna quickly stuck the magic tape on Rita Teddy Bear's mouth and pushed the teddy bear under the bed using her experience of hiding snacks from Abigail's inspection.

"Phew —" Belinda walked in while she was stretching and fell on the bed.

"Put out the candle, Anna." Belinda commanded. "I finished the potion homework in one night. I'm a genius, but geniuses are too tired now."

"Uh … okay …" Anna put out the magic candle.

The room dimmed.
