"Xiao Kai, you brat, why didn't you tell me you were coming to school? You don't treat me as a friend, do you?"
A tall and stalwart man hurriedly walked over. Before he even arrived, his loud voice that sounded like a broken gong had already rung out.
Luo Kai turned around and smiled, "I saw that you were too busy."
This man was Tuoba Ye. He walked over and patted Luo Kai's shoulder, "Busy my ass. No matter how busy I am, it's not as important as your matter. Let's go."
A few of the mecha guards obviously recognized Tuoba Ye. They hurriedly moved their large bodies back a few steps and bowed, "Greetings, head instructor."
Tuoba Ye ignored them and pulled Luo Kai inside.
Tuoba Ye was always slovenly and always wore a greasy leather jacket. He looked like a sloppy homeless person. The crowd in the plaza began to discuss, "Who is that person?"
"I think he is the head instructor of the body technique association, Tuoba Ye from the Tuoba family!
“
Isn't that also a body technique master? This brat is really a student of Shang Jing University! "
After walking out of the pitch-black checkpoint, the view in front of them suddenly opened up. A large undulating mountain range appeared in their field of vision. There were densely packed buildings, some of which were built directly on top of the mountain. As far as the eye could see, there were layers upon layers of palaces. It was magnificent and majestic. It was not inferior to the Forbidden City in his previous life.
More importantly, Luo Kai felt that the gravitational force had increased. It was at least twice as strong as the outside world. Under this kind of gravity, it would be difficult for a normal person to even stand up. Could it be that the people of this world had already mastered the geomagnetic force?
Tuoba Ye really liked Luo Kai's surprised expression. This brat always had a carefree expression. Now, he finally looked like a human. He laughed and said, "What do you think? This school is quite impressive, right?"
"What's with this gravity?"
Luo Kai raised his hand. Under the influence of this gravity, his body's flexibility had obviously decreased. His movements were also slightly stiff.
Tuoba Ye pointed at the pyramid-shaped building in the depths of the mountain range and said, "This is the magical effect of the geomagnetic tower. Think about it. If you stay under this gravity for three to five years, what will happen when you go out?"
Luo Kai's eyes lit up. It was the same principle as weight-bearing training. Gravity would strengthen one's muscles and bones. Once one was free from the shackles, one's strength and flexibility would be greatly improved. No wonder all the body technique practitioners yearned for the University of Beijing. Even if they lived here for a long time, their strength would slowly increase.
Tuoba Ye stared at Luo Kai for a while and suddenly exclaimed, "Xiao Kai, why do I feel that you are a little different?"
Luo Kai was used to being teased by him. He instinctively touched his cheek and snorted, "You're jealous that I'm getting more and more handsome."
"Handsome my ass! Men should be like me!" Tuoba Ye proudly straightened his body.
The two of them walked towards the buildings, chatting as they walked.
"Are you physical trainers very busy?" Luo Kai asked with a smile. Ever since they came to Shangjing, the three physical trainers had rarely been seen.
"Sigh, so busy. My wife is quarreling with me at home, and outside, the physical training headquarters can't even rest for a moment." Tuoba Ye sighed.
Luo Kai originally wanted to warn him not to get involved in worldly affairs, but at this moment, he couldn't open his mouth. For the physical trainers from the big families, the greater the strength, the greater the responsibility. Or it could be said that their birth was the cause, and now they needed to pay for it.
As they gradually approached the buildings, the number of students began to increase. Along the way, there were mecha guards patrolling everywhere. This was not a university. The security was even higher than a military camp. Moreover, the gravity was getting stronger and stronger. They were still at the edge of the school. The center of the school was probably several times or even ten times the gravity.
The University of Shangjing adhered to the elite system. Although the total human population in this era was far less than in his previous life, there were still seven to eight hundred million people. However, the University of Shangjing only accepted five hundred students every year. Almost all of the students were geniuses from all over the world. Almost all of the new students had the strength of a physical warrior.
Luo Kai saw a student with wings at first glance. He was not a winged person who relied on external equipment. Instead, he had his own wings. However, under this kind of gravity, he obviously couldn't fly. His wings were drooping, and he had a sad look on his face. Along the way, there were many students who had genetic mutations. In comparison, they were indeed much stronger than ordinary people.
Tuoba Ye directly pulled Luo Kai towards a grey-white teaching building. They arrived at the door of a classroom with a 101 sign hanging on it. The classroom was very spacious, and it was densely packed with students. A beautiful female teacher who looked to be in her thirties was teaching on the podium. On the lesson board, there was an extremely detailed diagram of the human body.
"Shouldn't we report to the school office first?"
Seeing that Tuoba Ye was about to rush into the classroom, Luo Kai hurriedly pulled him back. This old man was too unreliable. How could he directly go to the class before the students were assigned to different classes?
"Why do we have to go to the school office? Why do we have to listen to those old men?"
Tuoba Ye smiled mischievously and knocked on the door. "Beat up the teacher, I'm sending you a good student!"
The female teacher saw him and her face immediately turned cold. She angrily walked to the door of the classroom and said in a low voice, "Tuoba Ye, if you come and harass me again, I'll … I'll find your father!"
Although her voice was low, everyone in the classroom had sharp ears and eyes. The forty to fifty students in the classroom all looked over.
Tuoba Ye shamelessly said, "That … No, I'm really here to send you a good student." As he said that, he pulled Luo Kai out from behind him.
Luo Kai couldn't wait to strangle this old man. He could only smile and say, "Hello teacher, my name is Luo Kai."
"You are Luo Kai?" The female teacher seemed to know him and restrained her anger.
Luo Kai hesitated and nodded.
"Freshmen have their own rules. You have to choose your major first, and then someone will arrange a class for you." The female teacher's face turned cold again and ordered him to leave.
Tuoba Ye spoke again, "What class? Ou Ning, why don't you take him?"
The female teacher coldly said, "The most important thing in life is to follow the rules. My class doesn't allow students to not follow the rules!"
Tuoba Ye's face was a little embarrassed. He looked angry and was about to flip out.
Luo Kai hurriedly pulled him back. He apologized to the female teacher and hurriedly left.
Along the way, Tuoba Ye didn't stop nagging, "This girl still hates me for abandoning her. If I marry her, I will spank her every day. Xiao Kai, you have to remember that women can't be spoiled. If you don't spank them for three days, they will turn the roof upside down …"
Luo Kai ignored his nagging. He asked around and found the school office. At this time, the enrollment had already ended. Fortunately, Tuoba Ye had some face. After Luo Kai showed the gilded invitation, an old man wearing glasses took out a list and asked him to choose his major.
However, after looking at the list, Luo Kai was a little confused. There were so many branches of physical skills. There were dozens of types of physical skills. The weapon category was even more complicated. There were knives, spears, swords, halberds, axes, hooks, and all kinds of other cold weapons. There were also heavy and light swords in swordsmanship. There were also fast and big swords in swordsmanship … There were even a few types of firearms. There were gunfighting, long-range sniping, autocannons, and mecha control. In this era, there were no advanced positioning and aiming systems, so it all depended on the operator.
At the bottom were the classes for Elementalists. Elementalists were divided into different categories. In addition to the five elements, there were also classes for light and dark energy.
One shouldn't bite off more than one could chew. The school stipulated that physical skills practitioners could only choose three types of physical skills. One type of physical skills, one type of weapons, and one type of mecha control.
This was the future development direction of physical warriors. If it was someone else, they would have to think carefully. However, Luo Kai didn't care. He had already reached the realm where he could master one method and master all methods. He casually chose a heavy sword skill. Under Tuoba Ye's guidance, he chose "Separation and Combination Technique" for physical skills and mecha control for mecha control.
