Luo Kai rode the airflow out of the clouds and came to the stratosphere. The air here was much thinner, and the air resistance was reduced correspondingly, so his speed was much faster.
The wind whistled in his ears, and the scenery in front of him was vast and boundless. It was as if he could travel anywhere in the universe.
He really wanted to travel around the world and see the Earth that nurtured billions of lives. Unfortunately, now was not the time.
The journey that would have taken him several days in the past only took him less than half an hour at supersonic speed. The Hengduan Mountains below were faintly visible, and there was a hazy smoke mixed with it. This place was still in the midst of war.
The familiar scenery reminded Luo Kai of the Ironwood Fortress. At that time, he had resonated with the baleful energy for the first time. It seemed to be a result of fate, but in fact, it was inevitable.
He lowered his speed and flew toward the mountains below. As he got closer, a series of muffled thunder-like explosions came from the mountains. It was the sound of hard objects colliding with each other.
Soon, he was close to the center of the battle. He saw a dense group of human soldiers besieging a huge monster. It was a strange black tree that was forty to fifty meters tall. Its huge body was almost crystallized like a mountain of coal, and it gave people a strong sense of oppression.
The human soldiers besieging it were like countless ants. Even the huge heavy tanks were like toys in front of it, and they were directly trampled to pieces.
The cannonballs hit its huge body, but they only caused a bunch of white spots. They could not hurt it at all.
The most terrifying thing was that its entire body was covered in black baleful flames. Some human soldiers accidentally touched it and were directly burned to ashes.
There was no doubt that this was a complete ferocious beast, and it was a complete ferocious beast that had been transformed by baleful energy!
Those who could compete with a complete ferocious beast were naturally not ordinary people. Other than a large number of elite soldiers, there were also a few physical masters. Two of them were the most eye-catching. One was a young monk surrounded by green light. Traces of green light extended out and constantly dispelled the baleful flames that were driven by the strange tree.
At the same time, a golden light would shoot out from his eyes every once in a while. Only the golden light he shot out did the most damage to the strange tree. Every time it hit, it would let out a loud roar.
Not only could this monk use wood elemental energy, but he could also use the light elemental Buddha Light Technique.
The other person was a tall man in a military uniform. He held a huge machete in his hand. His body moved around the strange tree like lightning, constantly swinging the machete. It seemed that he was not affected by the terrifying evil flames. He alone attracted most of the strange tree's attention.
Luo Kai's eyes narrowed slightly. According to the classification of body technique practitioners, these two people belonged to the high-level physique masters. The others who could get close to him were also physique masters. There were also many Buddhist body technique practitioners with extremely high combat strength.
However, there was no way to kill the strange tree ferocious beast. All he could do was barely restrain it.
The battle below woke up the metal snake that was coiled around Luo Kai's waist. It crawled to Luo Kai's shoulder and looked at the battle below timidly while chirping softly.
Luo Kai reached out and gently stroked it. He felt a little helpless. This little thing had two states. Once it turned into a snake, it would have emotions such as fear and timidity. It was really similar to a small pet.
He did not help. Instead, he looked at a mountain peak in the distance. A huge waterfall fell from the top of the mountain. The source of the waterfall was a cloud of black fog. There was a huge monster squatting in the fog. The waterfall was its pee.
As if sensing his gaze, a pair of pitch-black whirlpool-like eyes lit up in the black fog and met his gaze.
A black flame also rose around Luo Kai. This was the activation of two types of energy of the same origin.
The sky and earth darkened. Whether it was light or other types of energy, they were all escaping.
Luo Kai's face became serious for the first time. Ever since he entered the sacred level, there were very few creatures that could make him feel threatened except for the gods. This was the first time. Moreover, the other party was also an evil creature.
No one knew the characteristics of evil energy better than him. Once it became a carrier of evil energy, it would gradually evolve into pure energy. It was a characteristic that only gods had.
Evil energy was one of the six types of energy that built the world. It was chaotic energy, which represented disorder. It meant to turn order into disorder. It could also be understood as the way of destruction.
The battle below was very fierce. Although there were many high-level evolvers, they could not do anything to the strange tree.
The young monk and the military officer were the strongest. They felt the change in the light around them. They hurriedly stopped and looked up at the sky. They could vaguely see a figure covered in black fog in the sky.
Both of their faces changed greatly. It must be known that humans who could fly with the wind were either evolvers who had awakened the ability to control the air or the legendary sage-level masters who could soar in the sky.
"We don't know whether it's an enemy or a friend. Everyone, be careful!
Major General Zhang, stop. "
The military officer nodded and quickly retreated.
The strange tree also felt something and stopped moving. Its crystal body turned slightly and seemed to be looking at the sky.
For a moment, the fierce battle stopped.
Luo Kai put the metal snake on his shoulder into his clothes and began to dive down. His diving speed soon broke through the speed of sound, and the sound of the air being torn apart was heard.
Thousands of meters in the sky was almost instantly reached at such a speed. A surging burst of purple and red light appeared, which was the result of the high temperature produced by the high pressure.
Luo Kai was confident that he could break a huge mountain with the power of the Static Body Technique and the kinetic energy acceleration at supersonic speed.
"Boom!"
With a thunderous explosion, the strange tree did not have time to react. Its huge body was directly crushed. A cloud of black fog immediately rushed out of its body and went into the body of a military officer not far away.
The others did not notice it and stopped fighting. The young monk looked at Luo Kai respectfully and said, "Thank you for your help. May I ask if you are the Thunder Saint?"
Luo Kai ignored him. He looked around the crowd and frowned. Suddenly, he stretched out his hand and a wisp of black evil flame immediately shot out toward the military officer who was infected.
The military officer hit his chest furiously and opened his mouth. A wisp of the same black energy was spat out and collided with the evil flame. The two wisps of black energy immediately corroded each other.
Luo Kai's face turned cold. His throat vibrated slightly and invisible sound waves were released. He used his spiritual power to encircle the sound waves and make them more powerful.
With a "bang", the man's cell tissues vibrated rapidly and his body exploded. A cloud of black fog came out and flew toward the nearest human.
Seeing Luo Kai suddenly make a move, the young monk also reacted. He knew that he had encountered something that was hard to see. His eyes immediately lit up with a dazzling golden light. A golden light shot out from his eyes to block the black fog. The golden light had a great restraining power against the black fog. It didn't take long for it to purify the black fog.
"What kind of technique is this?
It's very powerful. "Luo Kai could not help but praise.
The young monk hurriedly said, "Reporting to senior, this is one of the top ten secret techniques of the ancient religion, the Great Purification Technique. It specializes in dealing with the souls of the underworld. Of course, if senior did not help me to force this Extraterrestrial Demon out, I would not have been able to kill him."
"What is an Extraterrestrial Demon?" Luo Kai was very puzzled. Was that thing just now not evil energy or evil life?
Only a Saint could kill all the Ferocious Beasts in one hit. The person in front of him was most likely a new Saint. The young monk did not dare to be negligent and replied respectfully, "According to the records of the Buddhist Sect, the Extraterrestrial Demons were not born in our world, nor were they born in the universe. They came from the Asura World in the Netherworld's Nine Nether Land.
The rotation of the earth's magnetic pole caused the door of the abyss to open. The Hungry Ghost Path, Hell Path, and Asura Path of the underworld's underworld appeared one after another. My Buddhism usually calls the Asura Path life forms as "demons"!
