In the blink of an eye, it was the day of departure.
Su Chen brought Long Xiaoyou and the Dao Extermination Demonic Dragon, as well as Xiao Longnu, who could be summoned at any time, and rushed to the Emperor Devil Abyss.
Above his Soul Sea, Su Chen took out the red teleportation crystal left behind by the Bamboo Cultivator Old Demon and activated the teleportation array.
"Let's go."
Su Chen took the lead and entered the teleportation array, followed by Long Xiaoyou and the little black dragon.
This kind of cross-universe teleportation array was still relatively rare. Su Chen keenly sensed that this red crystal actually contained a trace of Space Law.
"Conceal your aura and be on guard."
Su Chen instructed.
Long Xiaoyou and the little black dragon nodded and were secretly on guard.
After all, they were going to the Demon Abyss Universe. No one knew what dangers they would face, so they couldn't let their guard down.
Moreover, Su Chen didn't completely trust the Bamboo Cultivator Old Demon. If the Bamboo Cultivator Old Demon was playing tricks and the destination was in front of the Demonic Moon Emperor, then the problem would be very serious.
However, Su Chen had to go for Su Xiaoyao. Therefore, even if he knew it was very risky, he had to try.
The teleportation process wasn't slow. After about ten minutes, Su Chen sensed a huge change in the aura of the surrounding space. He immediately knew that they had arrived at the Demon Abyss Universe.
After a few more minutes, the light of the teleportation array gradually dissipated.
The three of them appeared in a cold and gloomy castle.
The surroundings were silent, and there were no signs of life.
However, there was no danger.
Su Chen heaved a sigh of relief.
Opening the window of the castle, Su Chen looked outside. The sky was dark, and the surroundings were dark green. He could vaguely see a few skeleton knights in black armor patrolling around the castle.
Looking further into the distance, Su Chen saw some familiar scenes.
That's right, it was the Immortal Devil City!
It seemed that the Bamboo Cultivator Old Demon didn't lie to him.
"Master, what do we do now?" Long Xiaoyou asked.
"Wait for someone to come to our rescue."
Rashly barging into the Immortal Devil City was definitely not a good idea. Once they were discovered, it would be easy for trouble to arise. Since Old Devil Bamboo Cultivator had said that he would receive them, this ancient castle should have been arranged by him. It shouldn't be long before he would appear.
As expected, less than an hour later, a grey shadow flew into the castle.
It was Old Devil Bamboo Cultivator.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Mr. Su …"
Old Devil Bamboo Cultivator's face was full of wrinkles. He wore a loose black robe, and his gray eyes were sizing up Long Xiaoyou and the little black dragon behind Su Chen. These two dragons had disguised themselves and concealed their auras, so Old Devil Bamboo Cultivator couldn't immediately recognize them. However, he was sure that these two were not weak. Otherwise, they wouldn't have been able to hide from his senses.
"No need to be so long-winded. Take me to see Little Yao first."
Bamboo Cultivator Old Devil shook his head, "I'm afraid not yet. The Seven Treasures Demon Venerable is guarding the Demon Imperial City. Before the coronation, no one is allowed to enter the city."
Su Chen frowned. "Is there no other way?"
"Mister Su, please calm down. Please follow me to the Immortal Devil City."
"Alright."
Since everyone was here, there would definitely be a chance.
Soon, the three of them entered the Immortal Devil City under the protection of Old Devil Bamboo Cultivator. They arrived at another castle not far from the Demon Imperial City.
This castle was bestowed to Old Devil Bamboo Cultivator by the Eastern Emperor Demon Emperor. Back then, Old Devil Bamboo Cultivator was considered one of the Eastern Emperor Demon Emperor's generals. Although he had concealed his identity, he still had some background in the Immortal Devil City.
Su Chen also discovered that Little Spirit Fairy's residence was not far from the castle.
If he stayed there, it would be much easier to secretly meet Little Spirit Fairy.
However, the entire Immortal Devil City was heavily guarded. There were Demon Race soldiers patrolling the streets, and there were sentries everywhere. It was quite difficult to go out and move around.
Fortunately, Su Chen still had his Other Ghost Avatar. If necessary, it would be more convenient for him to move around in the Immortal Devil City.
"Tell me everything you know about the Seven Treasures Demon Venerable," Su Chen said.
Old Devil Bamboo Cultivator said, "I have never come into contact with the Seven Treasures Demon Venerable, so I don't know much about him. However, ever since the Demon Emperor fell, the Seven Treasures Demon Venerable has the most power in the entire Imperial Demon Abyss. He is currently the Great Guardian of the Imperial Demon Abyss, and he is in charge of all the Demon Soldiers and Demon Generals in the Imperial Demon Abyss. He is very ruthless. In order to help the Little Princess ascend to the throne, before the Demon Emperor passed away, he used underhanded means to get rid of a few Demon Princes and cleared the obstacles on the Little Princess's path to the throne."
"What is his cultivation realm like?" Su Chen asked again.
"It is said that the Seven Treasures Demon Venerable's cultivation realm is not high. He is only at the Late Divine King Realm. However, his combat strength is not inferior to a Saint King. Moreover, he has a few powerful treasures that are extremely powerful."
It was as good as not saying anything.
It seemed like Old Devil Bamboo Cultivator's intelligence was not good. Su Chen still had to find Little Spirit Fairy to understand the situation.
"Alright, you may leave." Su Chen waved his hand.
Old Devil Bamboo Cultivator bowed and left.
Su Chen summoned Long Xiaoyou and the little Black Dragon to his room and set up a Divine Inscription Restriction around them. He said, "There is still more than a month before Xiaoyao's ascension. I order you to gather as much information as possible during this time, including the movements of the Evil Moon Demon Emperor."
Long Xiaoyou said, "I have no problem with that. As long as I don't expose myself, ordinary Saint Kings will find it difficult to discover me."
The little Black Dragon was a little hesitant. He had always obeyed orders. Investigating information required more subjective judgment and action. This kind of mission was not suitable for him.
Su Chen also considered this point and said, "You only need to patrol outside Immortal Devil City. If you discover any Demon Race experts from other places or sneaky experts, inform me immediately."
After saying this, Su Chen set up a Divine Inscription Array on each of them and said, "You can contact me at any time through the Divine Inscriptions. I will also share your hearing and vision through the Divine Inscriptions."
"Then I will take my leave first."
Long Xiaoyou said this and left first, disappearing without a trace.
The little Black Dragon also turned invisible and left.
Su Chen did not move. He closed his eyes and rested until late at night. When darkness completely enveloped Immortal Devil City, he left the ancient castle and carefully approached Little Spirit Fairy's residence.
He did not use the Great Transition Celestial Art because he was worried that the spatial fluctuations would attract the attention of some Demon Race experts.
Since the distance was close, it would not take more than a few minutes to walk over.
Late at night, there were still a large number of Demon Race guards patrolling the Immortal Devil City. Moreover, these Demon Race guards were very strong. The average strength of the guards was at the Heaven's Equal Realm. Occasionally, one could even sense the aura of a few God King Realm Demon Generals.
Su Chen had to be careful along the way. If he was not careful, he would be discovered.
This was especially so when he arrived near Little Spirit Fairy's residence. Su Chen discovered that there were a large number of Demon Race guards hidden in all directions. It was as if they had surrounded Little Spirit Fairy's residence. This greatly hindered Su Chen's night visit.
"Strange, why are these guards so strict around Little Spirit Fairy's residence? Did something happen to her?" Su Chen was very puzzled.
