After listening to the empress's explanation, Su Chen finally had a rough understanding of the Taibai Tribe.
When the Immortal Realm was closed, the Golden Immortals of the Immortal Realm cut off the Immortal Path to Heaven to prevent the cultivators of the Immortal Realm from sneaking into the Immortal Realm to steal the immortal treasures. They also sent a group of Immortal Clan experts who were not Immortals but had the bloodline of Immortals to guard the Endless Peak.
Over the years, many bold cultivators had tried to enter the Immortal Realm through the Endless Peak, but without exception, they all failed.
There were not many members of the Taibai Clan, perhaps only a hundred or eighty of them, but their average cultivation level was at the Saint King Realm. That was not the most terrifying thing. The most terrifying thing was that a Golden Immortal of the Great All-Embracing Heaven had set up a terrifying Boundary of the Immortal-falling Realm on the Endless Peak. In this boundary, the strength of any intruder would be greatly weakened. Even a Great Emperor expert would have a hard time winning against the Taibai Clan.
Back then, the Primeval Emperor had challenged the Taibai Clan, but he returned in defeat and never went near the Endless Peak again.
This was also the reason why the Sky-reaching Empress dissuaded Su Chen.
"Even the Yan Emperor Sword can't intimidate the Taibai Clan?" Su Chen asked with a frown.
"Although the Inferno Emperor Sword can command the immortals, don't forget that the Inferno Emperor Sword was stolen by the Seven Treasures Devil Lord. It's fine if you don't take it out, but if you do, the Taibai Clan will destroy you at all costs and take the Inferno Emperor Sword."
"Uh …"
That was true.
The Yan Emperor Sword was different from the Demon Emperor Scepter. As long as the Demon Emperor Scepter was in hand, it would be a great deterrent to the Demon Clan. If the Yan Emperor Sword was taken out, it would be easy for it to be taken away if the strength was not up to par.
Shaking his head, Su Chen temporarily dismissed the idea of going to the Immortal Realm.
The Sky-reaching Empress continued, "If you want to learn how to make immortal pills, you don't have to go to the Immortal Realm. I can teach you."
"Really?"
"When I was a little fairy on the Phoenix Cry Platform, I learned some immortal alchemy skills. Although I don't know much, it shouldn't be a problem to teach you."
Little Fairy … Was that a position in the Immortal Realm?
It sounded a little strange.
"In that case, I earnestly request the empress to enlighten me." Su Chen bowed.
"Help me build the house first."
"Alright."
For the next few days, Su Chen was extremely busy. On one hand, he had to deal with the relocation planning for the Fortress of the Gods. On the other hand, he had to visit Se Yuan and help the empress build a house. On the other hand, he had to nourish his beautiful wife at home from time to time. On top of that, he had to think of ways to make Xiao Longnu happy so that he could earn more skill points.
In short, he was very busy. He was so busy that he didn't even have time to rest. Su Chen turned into a master of time management. Every minute had to be carefully planned.
Fortunately, it was only for a short period of time. After this period of time, he would be able to relax.
Several days later.
Looking at the elegant courtyard in front of him, Su Chen nodded in satisfaction.
"Is the empress satisfied?
This is the work of my ingenuity. "
Su Chen had put in a lot of effort to build this house for the empress. All the materials used were of the highest quality. Just the layout of the formation alone had more than a hundred types. It was no exaggeration to say that if an ordinary person lived in such a house without cultivation, it wouldn't be a problem for them to live to 800 years old.
However, looking at the empress's expression … Erm, she didn't seem very satisfied.
"It's too fancy. I just need a simple wooden house."
Su Chen didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "Then we can only demolish it and rebuild it."
"Forget it, that's it."
The empress shook her head and said, "While you're at it, build an alchemy room. From tomorrow onwards, I will teach you the immortal alchemy skills."
"Oh, okay."
The next day, Su Chen arrived at the empress's house early in the morning.
Little Sister Nine Heavens Sacred Phoenix had already brewed tea and prepared snacks for Su Chen. Before the Empress arrived, she said to Su Chen, "Little brother, you have to take it easy. The Empress is usually very approachable, but once she starts teaching and educating people, don't mention how ferocious she is. If you accidentally offend her, you will definitely have to bear the consequences."
"Little Nine, say that again?"
Hearing the voice behind her, the Nine Heavens Sacred Phoenix was so scared that she immediately escaped.
The little black dragon was smart. From the beginning to the end, he didn't say a word and only knew how to work.
The empress didn't pursue the matter and said to Su Chen, "Let's go."
Bringing Su Chen to the alchemy room, the empress went straight to the point. She took out a bunch of strange herbs and placed them in front of Su Chen. She said, "Let me test your alchemy skills first. Use these herbs to create a poison pill. The stronger the poison pill, the better."
Su Chen glanced at the herbs and quickly understood. Without wasting any time, he took out the Shennong Cauldron and started the alchemy process.
The empress stood nearby and watched the entire process. She carefully observed every move and step Su Chen took.
Su Chen's alchemy speed was extremely fast. With the use of the Law of Fire, the efficiency was even faster. In less than five minutes, a black poison pill was formed.
The empress took a look, then took out a poison pill and swallowed it.
Su Chen was shocked. He wanted to stop him, but on second thought, he was thinking too much. Although the poison pill was ferocious, what kind of person was the Empress? This little bit of poison was probably nothing to her. It was not even worth mentioning.
After a while.
The empress nodded. "Not bad. It seems that your alchemy skills have reached the peak of perfection in the cultivation world. This will save you a lot of trouble. I'll start teaching you alchemy skills. Take out your celestial herbs."
"Okay."
Su Chen laughed. With a wave of his hand, thousands of celestial herbs appeared in the alchemy room.
Although the empress knew that Su Chen had a large number of celestial herbs, she was still a little speechless when she saw so many of them at once.
"Do you recognize these herbs?" the empress asked.
Su Chen nodded. "I know the basics of medicine, but I don't know the detailed alchemy method. I also don't have the alchemy recipe, so I can't create a true celestial pill. I can only purify the medicinal power and bring out the value of the celestial herbs."
"Okay, then I'll mainly teach you the alchemy recipe and alchemy. Listen carefully."
Su Chen pricked up his ears and listened attentively.
Unknowingly, ten days had passed.
Ten days later, in the same alchemy room, Su Chen had used up the thousand celestial herbs that he took out. Instead, there was a shelf full of celestial pills.
Other than the first day of alchemy, when a few cauldrons of celestial pills were wasted, Su Chen was successful the rest of the time. There was not a single mistake. Coupled with the doubled effect of the Shennong Cauldron, he could create so many celestial pills.
Even the empress couldn't help but exclaim.
"You little demon, you really don't want others to live."
Su Chen laughed. "It's all thanks to the empress's good teaching."
"Don't flatter me. I have nothing else to teach you." The empress shook her head and smiled bitterly.
"A teacher for a day is a teacher for life. Master Empress, are you free tonight? I'll cook for you personally to thank you for nurturing me." Su Chen shamelessly invited her.
