The Demon Refining Sect Master was an experienced and ruthless person. He almost instantly understood Su Chen's intention.
He was furious. The demonic stripes on his body released a violent black and purple light. The demonic aura around him almost condensed into a physical entity, transforming into the figure of a demonic god.
"This Sect Master has killed countless people in my life. How can I allow myself to be used by a brat like you who is still wet behind the ears? Fine, since you're courting death, then this Sect Master will no longer show mercy. Anyway, after killing you, I can still obtain your physical body. It's just that I have to pay a price to repair it."
"Hybrid demon, you can try."
Su Chen's voice came from all directions. At this moment, he was already entangled with the Annihilation Celestial Flame and was refining it with all his might. He had no time to care about the Green Demon. However, Su Chen did not plan to fight him head-on. Provoking him and making him attack him was Su Chen's ultimate goal.
It was too difficult for Su Chen to suppress the Annihilation Celestial Flame with his own strength.
Therefore, Su Chen purposely elemental transformed and entangled himself with the Annihilation Celestial Flame.
Under such circumstances, if Su Chen was unable to continue, it was very likely that he would be devoured by the Annihilation Celestial Flame.
Therefore, Su Chen was gambling from the beginning. He bet that the Demon Refining Sect Master would not let him go. As long as he attacked, it would be equivalent to helping Su Chen suppress the Annihilation Celestial Flame. This would be the best outcome.
If the Demon Refining Sect Master and the Annihilation Celestial Flame were both injured, Su Chen would be able to reap the benefits.
Therefore, he needed to provoke the Demon Refining Sect Master to make him attack. Otherwise, Su Chen would not be able to hold on for long.
"You're provoking me!"
"So what if I am? To tell you the truth, I killed your disciple. Not only that, I also know many secrets about you. For example, your good disciple and his master's wife were deeply in love. I don't know how many times they cheated on you …"
The Demon Refining Sect Master's expression immediately darkened. He did not need Su Chen to continue provoking him. He charged forward without another word.
The turbid Devil Qi condensed into phantoms of Devil Gods, attacking the surrounding flames in a frenzy.
"You're courting death!!"
The furious attack of a Vast Heaven Realm powerhouse, how terrifying was the power? Su Chen's Fire Domain practically disintegrated and collapsed in an instant.
However, it didn't matter. The Annihilation Astral Flame would take most of the damage for Su Chen.
Although the Annihilation Celestial Flame was only a strange flame, it had a spirit and almost all of them had a violent temper. Faced with the Demon Refinement Sect's sect master's attack, it immediately gave up on suppressing Su Chen and moved to envelop the sect master.
Su Chen rejoiced in his heart. Without the Annihilation Celestial Flame pestering him, the pressure on him was greatly reduced. He continued to transform into flames, wrapping around the Annihilation Celestial Flame and the Demon Refining Sect Master. As he devoured and refined the Annihilation Celestial Flame, he continued to provoke the Demon Refining Sect Master with words, keeping him in an angry state.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The Demon Refining Sect Master's attacks were like a storm, showing no signs of stopping.
This went on for a full two hours.
Su Chen enjoyed the fruits of the Demon Refining Sect Master's efforts, slowly devouring the Annihilation Celestial Flame into his body.
At this moment, the Demon Refining Sect Master finally felt that something was wrong.
He wasn't stupid. He knew that Su Chen was using him to fight against the strange flame. However, he was too conceited and underestimated the power of the Annihilation Celestial Flame. He didn't expect that he couldn't completely destroy the strange flame after expending so much energy.
Although he was stronger than Yang Tangfeng, he couldn't take much of the Annihilation Celestial Flame. Even Yang Tangfeng was wary of the Annihilation Celestial Flame, so how could he completely suppress it?
Everything was under Su Chen's control.
Su Chen was even controlling the speed of devouring the Annihilation Celestial Flame to prevent it from being devoured too quickly and reducing the power of the Annihilation Celestial Flame, which would weaken the suppressing effect on the Demon Refining Sect Master.
He wanted the Demon Refining Sect Master and the Annihilation Celestial Flame to be weakened at the same time.
This way, when he completely refined the Annihilation Celestial Flame, the Demon Refining Sect Master would be a spent force.
It would be best if they perished together. This was the outcome that Su Chen wanted to see the most.
Time passed by and the battle was still ongoing.
The Demon Refining Sect Master realized that this couldn't go on. At this point, he had no other choice. All his escape routes were blocked by the Annihilation Celestial Flame. Unless he could destroy the Annihilation Celestial Flame, he wouldn't be able to escape.
The strange flame was strange and powerful. Even with his Demon God body, he would be burned to ashes if he touched it. He couldn't even force his way out.
At this moment, the Demon Refining Sect Master regretted coming alone. If he had known, he wouldn't have come alone. If he had brought his disciples along, at least he wouldn't be in such an awkward situation.
However, his disciples were afraid of him and never questioned his orders. If he didn't order them to come, they would definitely be guarding outside the cave.
The Demon Refining Sect Master was frustrated. Su Chen was very happy.
He had already devoured one-third of the Annihilation Celestial Flame.
The Great Holy Flame had broken through to the 114th level and the upper limit had reached the 150th level.
The efficiency was shocking.
All of this was thanks to the help of the Demon Refining Sect Master. Without him, Su Chen wouldn't have encountered such a good opportunity.
This was a blessing delivered to his doorstep.
At this moment, even the repulsive Green Demon looked much more handsome in Su Chen's eyes.
Please continue to work hard. Don't be defeated by the Annihilation Celestial Flame before I completely devour it. Otherwise, it'll be difficult for me to devour the remaining Annihilation Celestial Flame alone.
In the blink of an eye, half a month had passed.
Even a Great Heaven Realm expert like the Demon Refining Sect Master was starting to show signs of fatigue after half a month of continuous battle.
In order to break free from the Annihilation Celestial Flame, he had unleashed his strength several times over the past half a month. He had almost used all of his trump cards, but it was to no avail.
At this moment, when his consciousness started to blur, the Demon Refining Sect Master started to regret it.
"Kid, get rid of this damned flame and we'll be even. Once you kill my disciples, we'll be even. I won't make things difficult for you."
Giving in?
Su Chen chuckled. "Since when did the Demon Refining Sect Master, one of the 72 prefectures, become so childish?
Do I look stupid if I let you go now? "
"You …"
The Demon Refining Sect Master didn't want to provoke Su Chen and sighed. "Even if you kill me, you won't be able to escape. I have so many disciples guarding outside. As long as you take a step out, they'll definitely kill you. However, as long as you let me go, I can immediately take them away from here and never come back. I can swear on my soul."
"I have to remind you that only one-third of the Demon Refining Sect's strength has been mobilized this time. There are two Great Heaven Realm Supreme Elders in the Demon Refining Sect. If I die here, they'll immediately sense it and rush over. At that time, you won't be able to escape."
"Are you threatening me?"
Su Chen narrowed his eyes and released his killing intent.
