Hearing Su Changming's words, the audience couldn't help but be stunned.
On the commentary platform, Su Changming smiled and continued, "Hehe, I believe that many of the audience have heard of the nickname 'Black Masked Captain'. He was the most mysterious player in our team, Victor."
He lamented, "To be honest, the reason why Se7en was able to rise up in China and even break out of Asia and into the world was because of everyone's hard work. However, a lot of it was thanks to this guy who never showed his face."
"Boss Su is right. I've heard of the Black Masked Captain before when I was still commentating on Starcraft."
Ms-Joy who was at the side continued, "Although it's not the same game, it's still in the eSports circle. This player has indeed obtained many honors that people can only look up to. He's also the only world-class top player in the domestic FPS circle to enter the World eSports Hall of Fame."
Sy nodded. "Uhh … After hearing so much from the both of you, what's going to happen next should be related to the mysterious Victor, right?"
"That's right." Su Changming nodded. "Because this person is in our competition booth today!"
Hearing this, the crowd couldn't help but start to discuss with a buzzing sound.
"F * ck!
Victor is here today? "
"Could it be a player from Se7en?
I couldn't tell. "
"Wait!
Don't tell me you've forgotten about That Man from the last match? "
"Oh!
You mean … Hot Man? "
"That's right!
Just a hot guy? "
"Motherf * cker!
Which man are you talking about? "
“.....”
There were whispers and discussions at the scene.
On the big screen above the stage, the caster was showing the pre-match footage of some of the contestants.
When the camera panned to the Chinese players, they were rather shy. At most, they would smile at the camera.
However, when it came to the players from foreign teams, their reactions were quite lively, especially the players from the Thai team MITH. They even blew kisses to the camera.
However, in the next moment, the caster's camera suddenly stopped on a certain player, and then stopped moving.
Gradually,
As the commentator spoke,
The audience also realized that something was wrong.
Seriously?
Could it be him?
Wait a minute, he thought back to the 26 kills chicken dinner he won in the last match. Thinking about it this way, it did seem very likely that it was him!
At this time, Liu Zilang's lips curled up into a smile.
He suddenly stuck out his thumb, put his index and middle fingers together, and made a gun gesture. Then, he pressed it against his temple and made a "Biu" sound at the camera!
Seeing this familiar action, although many of the audience had already guessed it, they still couldn't help but be startled.
The next moment, the entire venue erupted!
It was him!
It was this man!
This was the signature gesture of Se7en. Not long ago, during the National University League of Jianghai organized by the University of Jianghai, Su Changming had greeted Gao Yunyang this way.
So he was Victor!
It turned out that the true appearance of the black masked captain was actually a first year student who still looked like a child!
At that moment, the commentary platform's voice was heard again.
"As everyone can see, 4AM's new sniper, Vic, is our former Black Masked Captain Victor."
Su Changming continued with a smile, "I heard that he's a streamer on Douyu. Perhaps some of the audience already know him, but have you ever thought that Vic is Victor?"
Sy smacked his lips and shook his head. "Tsk tsk … If it wasn't for you, Boss Su, confirming it on the spot, I wouldn't have dared to imagine that the legendary black masked captain would be so young, and so …"
"So flirtatious …" Ms-Joy added with a smile, "In the last match, other than the way he treated Nighthawk … Overall, he looked like a rather simple player. However, I didn't expect him to completely let go of himself after leaving the arena."
Hearing the commentator's words, the audience in the stadium recalled Liu Zilang's various performances in the last match. Instantly, they could not help but twitch their eyes.
'That's too f * cking wild!'
At the same time, in an apartment somewhere in Jianghai.
After school, Zhang Xiaotong brought Jiang Yumeng home.
"Xiaotong, why are you in such a hurry today?"
Jiang Yumeng asked curiously when she saw that Zhang Xiaotong could not wait to turn on her computer as soon as she got home.
"Because …" Zhang Xiaotong was about to say something, but she changed her words. "Because there's a match today."
Jiang Yumeng rolled her eyes and giggled. "Hehe … I know, I know. It's because your brother is participating in the competition today."
"It's not because of him!"
Zhang Xiaotong blushed as she stubbornly said, "I … I'm Guru Qiu's fan, I'm here to support him."
"Hehe, I support Master Ze!
Master Ze is super handsome! "
Jiang Yumeng's eyes were filled with little stars. She then smiled and said, "Oh right, Xiaotong, I heard that there are a lot of experts in the solo match this afternoon. Although your brother is a good person, I think it's important for him to participate in a competition like this …"
"Hmph!"
Zhang Xiaotong pouted.
She wanted to say that he was also very good, but she did not say it out loud.
After turning on her computer, Zhang Xiaotong quickly opened Douyu's official PUBG Asia Qualifier live stream.
Coincidentally, the two of them suddenly heard Su Changming say, "Vic is our black masked captain Victor from back then."
This sentence was like a muffled thunder that rang in their minds. The two little girls stared blankly at the live stream and were momentarily dumbfounded.
After a while, Jiang Yumeng asked with uncertainty, "Xiaotong, your brother is the black masked captain Victor."
"I … I don't know." Zhang Xiaotong bit her lip as she replied in a panic.
At that moment, she subconsciously recalled a certain early morning three years ago when she woke up with sleepy eyes and went to the bathroom.
When she passed by the dark living room, she suddenly saw a figure carrying a backpack who was about to leave.
At that time, she had a bad feeling in her young heart as she hurriedly chased after him and asked.
"Brother, where are you going?"
However, the only reply she got was the sound of the door closing with a "bang".
After that, they did not see each other for three years.
At that time, looking at the figure on the computer screen, Zhang Xiaotong suddenly sniffled and turned around to lie on her bed with the blanket over her.
In front of the computer, only Jiang Yumeng was left with a face full of disbelief as she stared at the live stream on the screen with her eyes wide open.
.....
In Jianghai Stadium, the sound of an airplane taking off was suddenly heard!
The second match of the solo competition had begun!
At that time, after knowing Liu Zilang's true identity, the audience in the stadium could not help but look forward to it.
When the casters introduced Liu Zilang earlier, although they had emphasized his series of glorious past, they had purposely neglected something.
However, in reality, most of the people in the stadium who were paying attention to the competition knew about the "Waterloo" of Se7en and even Hua Xia's FPS esports more than half a year ago.
It was a Clash of the Titans that was held in Denmark and gathered countless top FPS players from all over the world.
After half a year, the black masked captain who had disappeared and retired back then had once again returned. This solo match was his return to the scene for the first time.
Apart from his flashy tricks, how much of his true strength did he hide?
In this brand new FPS game like PUBG, in this three solo matches that gathered many of Asia's top players, would he be able to find the Solo King Victor …
This was also the question that many of the audience in the stadium were looking forward to.
