He would not enter the safe zone until the finals. Once he entered the safe zone, he would fight in the final circle.
This was Evermore's ultimate creed in the tournament.
The reason why Evermore did not adhere to his creed in this match was because he was affected by an external force.
This external force was none other than Liu Zilang.
His debut was the pinnacle of his career.
He was a legendary FPS player who single-handedly changed the world's FPS power structure and created a new era.
If such a player appeared in the same game as Evermore, if he could kill his opponent in front of tens of thousands of spectators, Evermore would feel that his life would be complete in an instant.
Hence, he chose the most likely Sosnovka Military Base in this match. Then, he carried out his strategy and crouched down in the bushes outside the police station with a revolver.
Once the people inside were done fighting, he would not fight nor would he be happy.
'Whether you come or not, I'll be here.'
'God will not disappoint those who wait.'
Not long after Evermore crouched down in the bushes, he heard gunshots and a kill notification from the boiler room.
First, it was SexyPIG's double shot.
Then, it was a headshot from Liu Zilang's Crossbow!
The instant Evermore who was crouching in the bushes saw this, he became excited!
'He's here!'
'That man is nearby!'
'Then, his next route …'
Evermore's guess was right. Liu Zilang did not go anywhere else after coming out of the boiler room. Instead, he headed straight for the police station.
When he saw Liu Zilang's silhouette coming out of the boiler room,
Evermore's eyes shone with the light of a wise man.
'Everything is under control!'
That was until the gunshots from the third C building were heard …
"Da, da, da-!"
It was the sound of an M4. Very fast!
Very fast!
A wave of fully automatic bullets whizzed through the air. Liu Zilang who was near the barbed wire fence between the boiler room and the police station was instantly covered in blood!
In that critical moment, he quickly laid prone on the rocks below the barbed wire fence.
"Dang, dang, dang, dang!"
The bullets continued to sweep through the barbed wire. However, most of them hit the rocks below the barbed wire fence.
Some of the bullets hit the barbed wire and created sparks. Those that went through the barbed wire fence whizzed past Liu Zilang's scalp.
A moment later, the gunshots stopped!
The person in the third C building was reloading.
Liu Zilang breathed a sigh of relief. He laid prone on the ground and immediately used a first aid kit to restore his health. Then, he took out some painkillers and stuffed them into his mouth.
"As expected of Brother Benz. The M4 with a 4x scope was really stable. If it wasn't for the barbed wire blocking a few shots, I don't think Vic would've been able to climb down in time."
"That's right. Brother Benz's individual ability is very strong. He's known as one of the 'Asia's Top Five's'. This contestant's single-power shots from a medium to a long range are very outstanding."
"Hehe, Brother Benz's famous 100m fully automatic SCARL has always been a popular topic in the circle. At this distance, I believe that using a 4x M4 to suppress the gun is just a basic skill for him."
"Now that Vic is trapped behind the barbed wire, the situation is getting more and more dire. If I remember correctly, Vic only has a 2x scope with his AK, right?"
"That's right, but there's another problem!
Did you guys notice that Evermore has been crouching in the bushes ever since he landed in the police station and picked up a revolver? Now, he's trapped between the two of them! "
In the game, Evermore, who had blended into the bushes, was also dumbfounded.
When Brother Benz was killing people at the third C building, he knew exactly where his opponent was.
However, he did not expect Brother Benz to appear at this time and ruin his hundred-year plan!
At that moment, Evermore was so angry that he gritted his teeth. However, he did not dare to move as he was trapped between the two of them.
If he was discovered, a pincer attack from the front and the back would turn him into fertilizer for the bushes. By then, he would really be one with the bushes.
That was not the ending that Evermore wanted to see.
"Oh!
Brother Benz is going to throw a grenade!
But at this distance! "
"The distance is quite far!
However, Brother Benz is at the top of the third C building. If he throws a grenade from a high position, there's still hope that he can throw it over. "
From the caster's God's perspective, Brother Benz who was holding a frag grenade in his hand jumped up and threw the frag grenade into the air!
However, at that moment, Liu Zilang who was prone behind the barbed wire raised his 2x AK and fired a shot at the top of the third C building the instant he scoped in!
"Da!"
His shot was extremely fast!
Before the live audience and live stream viewers could see him scoping in and aiming, the AK bullet had already been fired. It was as if he had instant-sniped!
The next moment, blood splattered out of Brother Benz's Level-two Spetsnaz Helmet on his head.
However, Brother Benz did not run away blindly. Instead, he instantly swapped to his M4 and fired a round of suppressive fire!
However, after Liu Zilang fired a shot, he quickly retracted his body and laid prone.
Brother Benz's round of fire naturally hit the rocks and the empty space under the barbed wire just like before.
However, that was not Evermore's concern as he was sandwiched between the two of them.
Crouching in the bushes, he watched as the frag grenade that was thrown from the third C building drew an arc in the air.
"Boom!"
The frag grenade hit the barbed wire and rebounded to the entrance of the police station.
As for Evermore's position …
He was in the bushes not far away from the main entrance of the police station.
Was he touched?
At that moment, both of them were aiming at him. Even if Evermore was given a hundred guts, he would not dare to jump out from the bushes.
That was not only an insult to his own intelligence.
It would also be an insult to his opponent's eyesight!
After gauging the distance between him and the frag grenade at the entrance, Evermore made a simple mathematical calculation in his mind.
'This frag grenade … shouldn't be able to kill me, right?'
"Boom!"
A flash of light appeared at the entrance of the police station and thick smoke rose!
As it turned out, Evermore's mathematical skills were quite good.
The shockwave from the frag grenade's explosion was already at the edge of Evermore's range. The damage was limited and it did not kill him.
However, it had "separated" him from the bushes since he was one with them.
Hence, as Liu Zilang and Brother Benz stared at each other, a person suddenly jumped out.
The two of them were startled!
？？？
'Is he … here to stop the fight?'
At that time, Evermore who had been blown out was in a bad mood. He really wanted to ask the two of them to continue. He was just passing by, so could he go back?
However, Liu Zilang seemed to be the first to disagree.
He took the opportunity to crouch again behind the barbed wire while Brother Benz was still in a daze!
He scoped in and swung the crosshair of his 2x scope!
A shot was fired toward the roof of the C building!
The next instant, Liu Zilang did not hesitate as he pulled the trigger and fired a shot at Evermore who had jumped out from the bushes!
"Da ~!"
"Da ~!"
After the two shots, two system notifications popped up on the big screen.
"4AM-Vic killed Royad-Benz by headshot with AKM!"
"4AM-Vic killed KD-Evermore with AKM!"
Compared to Brother Benz who had almost used up two magazines of his M4, Liu Zilang had only used three shots!
From the beginning to the end, Liu Zilang had only used three shots!
With an AK in his hands, the effect was similar to that of a sniper rifle. There was only one word that could describe it.
Exquisite!
Seeing this, the viewers in the live audience and live stream were in great shock!
